Somewhere out there is a world full of fantasy and wonders. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to go there? A world with nothing but happiness, where no problems exist. Filled with rainbows and butterflies and etc… Would you really be interested in going to such a place?
As wonderful as that sounds it’s a bit...dull don’t you think? Sure no problems would be wonderful and nothing but happiness for all would be great. However that isn’t how life is unfortunately. And it’s certainly not how things will be here. Sure there’s more then just the average humans about but everyone has there own problems no matter how odd or crazy they may seem. Relationships will both flourish and fail. Land will be seized, taken, or perhaps given or taken in some other manner. People will work for what they need to and do what they must to get by. Others will have adventures and explore while some are settled with families and friends. Lives will be lost and people will pass away. There may be battles and or wars. No one lives the same life though we may have similar problems. There is however a common thing all share. We all do what we must in order to survive.

Welcome to Aleocia. A world where different beings and or creatures co-exist amongst each other. Though there are quite a few that remain separated. Whether it is due to the fact that some prefer to remain amongst there or kind or whether it’s due to some other reason is unknown. Aleocia is set in a manner where a particular element seems to reign a particular area the most. Giving creatures or being that pertain to such an element a better chance at survival there.
To the East lies the never ending sea titled The Deep Blue. It’s not entirely water, as said from some explorer, but from the point the land meets the water off of mainland there seems to be a vast amount of nothing but water. To the West is where yet another sea of a different variety. Titled The Great forest is a sea of trees, that is due to how large the trees have gotten, towering above all, and seeming to never end as it goes on for miles. To the North is where the cold lies. Glaciers and such exist in that area once the waters are reached. The land seems to always be covered in snow. This land has been titled The Frozen North. To the south lies the seemingly never ending desert. It's been given the name The Pyre. This area is ruled by heat along with volcanic activity. While in between it’s a bit of a mixture leaning towards what direction one is particularly close to.
Within each of these lands mentioned are beings that particular favor the elements here. Thousands upon thousands and even more reside in these places. No one is limited towards one place in particular. They are merely the dominate areas that exist for the particular element it may stand for. The Great Forest isn’t the only wooded area out there. Like The deep blue Sea isn’t the only mass of water out there. It is mainly the largest out there that many inhabit. Same could be said towards those that lie in the North and South. The area in-between these directions are just as vast as the other areas separated by either land or sea. This area isn’t ruled by any particular climate. The seasons come and go the same every year.
The beings that live in each area co-exist with each other whether they get along or not is another story. Some merely live as they please governed by no one while in other areas there would appear to be some type of government. Seeing how things will turn out now with all these different races co-existing will no doubt be interesting.

Characters The Guide [KagonaX] Given Name [Sen] Years Gone By [18] If You Didn‘t Notice [Moth Demon] Take A Look [-Sen-] Something About Myself [Sen has a curious nature and has always been the type to explore. Living in The Great Forest for all his life he has had nothing but time to do so. He has quite a few siblings most older then himself while he has a few younger. Sen has no trouble with his fairly large family. Attention wasn’t something he had a problem with. His mother always did seem to be able to spare time for all her children as well as his father. Having quite a few aunts and uncle’s as well he saw them often but they didn’t live with them at least not many did. At a certain point in time it seems some of his older siblings branch off in particular different parts of The Great Forest just to be on their own. Perhaps having an explorative or independent nature is something that ran in Sen‘s family. All he knew for sure is that he had it in mind to one day go off on his own as well. Except unlike the others he planned to leave The Great Forest Of course he loved the forest seen, it was where he was born and raised, however he had heard stories of what it was like outside of The Great Forest and he felt a strong compulsion to go off on his own there.
Apparently Sen‘s mother did seem to expect Sen to stay around forever though she might have hoped. Sen is sometimes known for being helpful whether it be with something for something good or bad. He is also said to be a good listener. However to say whether he purposely listens or not is something to be questioned. He may hear what one says but if it‘s not what he wants to hear then he has the tendency to ignore it and do as he pleases. Sen is a pretty expressive person. It‘s not hard to tell what‘s on his mind if one takes note of his expressions. He doesn‘t take being bossed around too kindly but if one knows how to get to him then he‘ll go along with it. He likes to have fun when he can though not so much at another’s expense. He has chosen to go off now, leaving his home, as soon as possible. He has little to nothing to go with but he‘s not at all deterred with that fact in mind.] What I Do [Explorer/Adventurer] I prefer [Seke] Anthing Else [Sen has always wondered what it would be like to go to The Deep Blue Sea. He’s fond of the idea after thinking about it and comparing it to a lake within The Great Forest. He’s gone for a swim before, or tried to, unfortunately that didn’t end to well and then he couldn’t fly for awhile afterwards but he still has interest in it. Bright things, ranging from lights to fires, for some reason seem to catch or attract Sen’s attention quite easily. After that it‘s hard to get him to focus on anything else and he seems to move towards “said“ bright light.]
The Guide [Lucifielle] Given Name [Shuu] Years Gone By [16] If You Didn‘t Notice [cat kind halfbreed] Take A Look Shuu Here‘s A Bit To Go On [As a baby, Shuu was abandoned by his parents which he never knew. He was raised by a kind woman who unfortunately died when he was 10 years old. From then on, he had been taken in by a neighbor, the patron of a potion shop. Shuu has a lot of his traits inherited from his beast side. Although extremely curious and inquisitive, he has never left his hometown somewhere at the border between The Deep Blue and The Pyre. He likes to run around and meet all sorts of people. His worst enemy is his never-ending curiosity and recklessness which often lead him into weird, sometimes dangerous situations out of which only his extremely intuitive nature and instincts saved him. When he doesn't run around taking care of errands for the master of the potion shop he works in he enjoys lazing in the sun or eating. Although he can swim, Shuu completely dislikes waters, the most contact he would prefer being short baths.] Not That You Need To Know [Occupation: Explorer / Delivery boy] I prefer [Position. Uke] Anthing Else [Although abandoned by his parents, Shuu did not sink into loneliness, nor did he allow his origins to shame him. Even though he sometimes feels melancholic, it soon passes and he is determined to take the future head on, no matter what it has in stored.]
The Guide DingDong_DnG Given Name Kano Exxon Years Gone By 19 If You Didn‘t Notice Demon Take A Look Kano Exxon Here‘s A Bit To Go On He's really kind from what he looks like and if he lets someone inside he doesn't let them leave. He was born into a little village which just didn't suit him so when he turned 16 he left to have adventures. Travel. Do something. Then he met with a man who offered him a job with he took. The job or a killer. Not That You Need To Know Assassin I prefer Seme Anthing Else Nopies~

The short boots hit the cobble stones faster and faster as Shuu made his way across town, his delivery bag hanging behind him, almost fluttering due to the great speed. Some angry voices followed him around the square as he jumped over some fruit stalls in order to reach the other end of the market faster. Zig-zagging on between the crowd, jumping and sliding, he made it across. It was all down hill from then, Shuu thought as his torso lowered in order to reach a greater speed.
He was generally in a hurry when he handled his deliveries but this time it was more special. The delivery was for a medicine house quite far from his shop, where some fishermen were brought in with odd injuries. His master was one of the few who still had out of season ingredients in stock and had rushed to prepare the potions himself, not allowing his apprentices to work on them. Shuu had been woken up from the nap he was enjoying on the roof and charged with the swift delivery of the potions. Because of the afternoon hours, the streets were bound to be crowded so coaches or horses were out of the question. They would only cause more annoyance.
Shuu suddenly came to a halt in front of a large wooden door and knocked on the handle. The door was opened and he was ushered inside by an old woman in a white robe.

Sen had been traveling for awhile now from The Great Forest. He was aware he was close to a town only from the fact he had come across a few travelers that he had spoken to. He had alternated from flying to walking very often. Though he flied more often then not this was due to a few reasons. One being mainly he couldn't fly forever and he was aware he didn't think everyone may be fond of what he was. So he found himself with his wings tucked behind his back in their usual manner and had acquired what was a cloak with a hood, that his his antenna he always had on when he wasn't alone. It kept his from bearing the full heat of the sun which would be wore if he had lived in the Pyre region.
Currently Sen walked along a dirt path. He could tell that many people had come down here at some point in time for it looked more like a beaten path due to all the people that traveled here. He looked here and there, everywhere ahead really, letting his brown eyes come to focus on where he was going. He was tempted to fly but since he was close to a town he didn't care to do so. He didn't really want to be seen doing that and then have to actually walk around the ones that saw him. It wasn't like he was ashamed of what he was but the first time he had walked through a town with nothing to really cover him he hadn't actually gotten a good reaction from everyone. There were a few people that bothered him and then that was just bothersome.
Thinking on it for awhile now Sen looked down and then up noting how the weather was. It seemed fine to him but he didn't know if it would end up raining later. He kind of hoped for it so he would get get a bit of water. He hadn't had any on him, he ran out, and he was really quite thirst. Looking ahead he saw his destination had come in sight. The town he had been looking to come to was right up ahead and he smiled as he picked up his pace. He took off in a run now thinking that it wouldn't hurt to fly but he thought it better he didn't. Perhaps here he could go towards The Deep Blue from here. He considered unfortunate that there was so much water there and yet no one could drink any of it.
In running towards the town he found it wasn't long before he came to a walk once more and moved to walk into the streets of his new destination. Perhaps he would find something interesting in his town. He had been traveling for quite awhile alone and he wanted something that brighten up his current mood.

Shuu shuffled his feet as he watched all the people run around, following the directions of an older man.
"Tell your master we are indebted to him, boy!" he shouted among orders. "I'll pay him a visit tomorrow to settle the fees." he continued then rushed inside.
"Yes, sir! I'll... tell... him..." Shuu replied, to no one in particular since the man was nowhere in sight. He figured he would only be in the way if he hung around any longer so a couple of seconds later he was in the street, walking back to the shop. Not having to hurry anymore, he shoved his hands in his pockets and started skipping, kicking a small rock every now and then. The sounds of the bustling market grew louder and soon, Shuu found himself in the middle of the crowd, trying to make his way through it.
All of a sudden, the smell of fried meat caught his attention and his stomach decided it was time for a snack, which he announced loudly. Following the scent, he reached the stall of a street salesman and started looking at the delicious looking skewered meat with vegetables roasting over coals, almost drooling.
"Come right up, boy! These skewers are made of the best pork meat on the market with the finest of spices! All that for a damn good price! Four for a gold piece! Tell you what! If you buy four, I'll throw in another one, free of charge!" the salesman shouted.
Shuu searched his pockets until he managed to scrape up the requested amount and handed it to the salesman. He figured his master won't mind the little delay since he had already delivered the goods.
"You won't regret it! There ya go, boy!" the salesman pocketed the money and put five skewers in a piece of paper and handed it to him. Shuu grabbed it and moved away. It was quite difficult moving about and switching hands as he blew on them. The skewers were still hot from the coals and he couldn't hold them in one hand for more than a couple of seconds. Reaching a park close to the market, he sat down and put the skewers next to him on the bench.
"Time to eat!" he wished himself, took a skewer and started eating, blowing on it every now and then.

Sen made his way along the streets now walking to see where he could perhaps purchase what he needed. So far he had managed to simply look for what he needed but he doubted things would be free here. That was how it was in towns. He realized that when he visited his first town. That was why he had taken some line of currency with him after all. He had taken it up so he could take it along in case he needed it and boy did he ever need to. However he was sure to save and spent little only when he needed to. There were only so many things he could do.
He realized he needed to make some money at some point in time and though he managed in the past he couldn't say he was so lucky now. He was short on money and he needed to find something to do. However he wasn't concentrated on that at the moment. He wanted to find some water and then a sudden scent was caught in the air by him as he walked further into the town. Although it wasn't that appealing to him, some of it wasn't he headed in that direction to find out what was causing it.
He wasn't sure how long he had walked for until he saw that it appeared the streets had gotten more crowded and there seemed to be someone selling something. Sen found himself stopping whee he was, amongst some of the people going and coming, as he stared towards the street salesman that seemed to be selling the product. His dark brown eyes stared out from underneath the hood that covered his head with a somewhat thoughtful look. He briefly wet his lips as his tongue ran over them even though he was parched as well. He was tempted to spend some money but he didn't want to just get anything. He needed to get something he could put up and eat a little later.
A faint sigh escaped his slightly parted lips as Sen finally took notice of the fact he seemed to walk into the market in town. Well, what better place to get things. He was already biting his bottom lip though thinking he best go and not dawdle. Not that he had anywhere to be but he was thirsty and he just wanted a bit of something to drink and or eat. He was already moving to turn around and look around the area he was in in completely before went off to do anything else. Not that he had something in mind to do.

Several roads were visible from the place Shuu was eating. Two of the main roads that led to the marketplace surrounded the park before converging near the market. He liked to look at all the people going about their business, trying to imagine what they were thinking or what their lives were like. He wondered just how many had traveled to far places and what were those places like, what kind of people inhabited them, what were their customs and so on. His head was full of questions, a lot of them unanswered or only partly answered, from all the books he read.
It was one of Shuu's greatest dreams to travel to far places but he never got the chance. The boy also didn't know if he would ever be able to and sighed. Taking another bite of a skewer, he looked along one of the roads and spotted a weird figure, cloaked and hooded, walking toward the market. He wondered if the person wasn't hot with all those clothes on. He sure was. His body was quite tanned since he spent a lot of time in the sun, lazing around and when he went around town, he always wore short pants and sleeveless shirts. The heat was pretty intense, especially during the hot season, when it barely rained. It was one of the few times when he actually enjoyed water.

Sen stood with his mouth slightly watering though he was sure not to drool. He was hungry and thirsty. Only more so due to the cloak he wore but he didn't like taking it off just anywhere and this place was included. Brown orbs stared somewhat longingly towards the food stand he had come to a stop by. Although he didn't quite eat everything here he still wanted something to eat. Perhaps he could purchase just everything else that wouldn't include meat. He suppose he would just have to look elsewhere. He had walked into the market so he could do that.
Looking around now from where Sen had stopped he found himself trying to figure out what to do. His eyes were shaded by the hood he wore but he could see very clearly from underneath. There seemed to be quite a few people about here and there but he had somewhat gotten use to that. At least he had come out early and not late at night. Although he sometimes, if not most of the time, preferred the dark he also recalled the many incidents he had with fire. He needed to get water and something edible he could consume. Hopefully no one would come to assume anything from his attire that showed. That simply being the fact he had a cloak on and seemed to feel the need to cover his face.
He wondered if he asked if he could get any assistance. Sen was quite obviously looking around now. He wanted to speak with someone but not just anyone. Someone who didn't look like they would automatically be unfriendly towards him or be too suspicious. He didn't think himself the best judge of character but he could usually tell when someone wasn't going to be a very nice person. If he couldn't get anything here, he didn't see why he couldn't, then he would have to go to the next town and who knew how far that was. He really needed to find something here and he wouldn't reduce himself to just taking things...unless he really had to.

Shuu finished the last skewer and licked his fingers. With his tummy full now all he needed was some water to quench his thirst. He jumped off the bench in one motion and started strolling back towards the market. Known by few, in an alley on the other side of the square there was a well with some of the freshest water in town. He often drank from it as he passed through there.
He trotted towards it but stopped as something caught his eye. He spotted the cloaked figure he had noticed on the road before. The person seemed to be looking around, obviously confused. He figured it must have been a traveler who hadn't been in town before. He stared at him for a couple of minutes as the figure looked around anxiously. Turning on his heels, he trotted to the person's side at tapped it's shoulder.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help but notice you were looking around and I figured you may be lost so I was wondering if I may be of some assistance. Do you need help with anything?" he asked, smiling widely at what seemed to be a pair of some of the weirdest brown eyes he had ever seen. Up close, the stranger seemed... odd but it didn't phase him. He simply stood there, smiling and waiting for their reply.

Sen was still looking here and there when he suddenly felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He turned around then surprised to see someone who actually come to approach him. He wondered if it was on good terms at first but he took note of the smile the person seemed to carry and he didn't look to be the type who came to be rude or anything of the sort. Perhaps he really would get some help. "Would you happen to know where I can get some water around here?" He was really thirsty even though he had thought of eating he wanted something to parch his thirst first. "If you could just point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it." He thought to say with a smile of his own.
He really hoped the fellow here could help him. He just wanted a bit of assistance. He wasn't asking for too much. He at least didn't think so in his point of view. "Then, if your familiar with the area, I would like to ask you a question about the market place." He spoke as he briefly spared a glance around before looking back to the boy who spoke to him. He hoped that this boy would assist him without needing to be paid. If that was the case he could try to manage things himself. Not that he was cheap, he just didn't have much to spend.

"Certainly! I know the best place to drink water from! It's the best in this area! I was just about to head there myself!" Shuu smiled widely at the hooded person. Sure he though he was a bit weird and all but he decided to shrug it off. His instincts didn't warn him of anything and he wasn't judgmental by nature. Shuu simply thought the stranger had his reasons for walking around all hooded and wrapped up in his cape.
As he led the way, he couldn't help but think of several reasons. Maybe the traveler had suffered some kind of injuries that may have disfigured him or he was a wanted person or an important one who didn't want to be seen in public. Or maybe he was sensitive to sunlight he also considered. There were so many possibilities though that he decided to just drop it. He stopped as soon as they reached the well.
It was a stone one with two drinking faucets. He opened one and started drinking avidly, nodding to the stranger, as though inviting him to do the same. "Go on! It's really good! Especially on such a hot day!" he smiled.
After about a minute or so of drinking, he straightened himself and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "So what would you like to know about the marketplace? I know this city very well so I think I can answer pretty much any question you might have." Shuu asked, the smile never really leaving his face.

Sen was relieved to hear that this person knew where the water was and didn't seem to have it in mind to ask him any questions. He definitely had to thank the boy somehow. He was sure to follow behind upon seeing him lead the way. He tried to keep in mind where they went so he could remember how they got from here to there. He didn't think he was staying here long but it would still be good to know where he was going.
The thought of who the boy helping him was didn't come to mind. He just saw he seemed like an awfully nice fellow so he went along with him. Not thinking that there was anything more to helping him out here. It didn't seem like he was wrong either when he saw they reached their destination.
Sen stopped there to see the person who lead him here started drinking. "Thank you for taking me here." He spoke with a faint smile before he moved and opened the other facet. At the same time he thought to take off the hood but left it on. He drank as much as he could manage, he was really thirsty, until he heard the boy speak again.
"I would just like to know where I can get something to eat that won't cost too much." He hoped that wouldn't be too troublesome. If this boy knew where everything was then he would be very grateful for his assistance. He just wondered if he had to give him anything.
