The Dark is Rising (The Seeker)

I don’t really know what category this goes in so, just to be safe, I’ll but it here.

Anyway, anyone read The Dark is Rising or other books in the series? Yeah, sure it’s a kids book, but it’s OK. I first read it after the movie, The Seeker, based on the book came out.

Judging from The Seeker trailers, they messed up the movie a lot.

The Dark is Rising is about an eleven year old name Will Stanton who thinks he’s just this random ordinary kid. On his 11th birthday, he discovers that he is the last of the Old Ones, immortals destined to fight the rising Dark. Will finds out that he is the sign-seeker and must find the six Signs of the Light to prevail against the Rider and the Dark for the time being.
