Sawa was patrolling the southern shore of the island, but he wasn't really paying much attention. No one ever came to the island... well, not since Gwen and Hedda anyways. He felt obligated to patrol though, to keep them safe. He would feel extremely guilty if something dangerous got onto the island and hurt one of them, or his children.
He glanced out at the water for a moment, continued walking, and then did a double take. What was that in the distance?

Chiku wiggled around in the undergrown near a stream debating about following his brother. Mel smirked back at him taunting him to run across the stream to the island,"You just want to get me wet don't you!" Mel just smirked back. "you don't know what can be there!?"
Mel," just run across"
Chiku finally ran/swam across and then after 5 mins got across and dried himself. Saying loudly, "SO COLD!"
Mel just smiled and started grooming his brother.
startled they looked around and gasped looking over at a huge lake and an island.......

It looked like there were two figures on the other side of the lake, but they were so far away that he couldn't tell what they were.
Deciding to be careful, he sat down and watched to see what they would do.

Mel jumped up excited wanting to go to the island poking his brother,"let's go there.... I wanna climb that mountain, plus look at the temple on top, bet it would be awesome!"

Chiku nodded in agreement," but it's too far to swim, we need to float on something, like large leaves or a log."
without paying attention to his brother Mel shoot off and grabbed a small log in his teeth and ran and swam into the lake.
Chiku sighed and did the same thing thinking when they got there his brother was gonna get a log to his head.

Well, he thought to himself, it's a good thing I was on patrol... not that I know these creatures are dangerous, but they might be.
He waited patiently for them to make it to shore, and then he would start asking some questions.

Mel right before landing to shore waited in the shallows waiting for his water logged brother to get closer to so he could splash him...again. Smirking as his younger twin got closer

Chiku swimmed harder trying to get to shore, a few paddles away he noticed his brother smirking. Thinking fast and avoiding the splash he dove into the water and tickled Mel , then running to land were both collapsed laughing while poking each other.

Sawa raised his eyebrows at the two silly Ulaya he saw before him.
"AHEM!" He coughed, "Hello. I would like to ask what you are doing on this island... it's marked territory."

Mel smirked out first,"where is it marked?" laughing even more
Chiku went white shutting up his brother," Sorry about that mister", bowing down," my twin has really bad manners," knocking his brother down to make him bow.
Chiku," we are just aadventurers looking for new places and maybe a new home, please bear us no hatred."

Even if they were silly, at least they weren't dangerous. Not that he could tell anyways. "You said you may be looking for a home? Why come here?"
He was a little hesitant about anyone else living on the island, but it had been rather hard gathering enough supplies with just himself and Hedda able to hunt and fish. There were 5 babies mouths to feed, and he was getting tired. Maybe he could use some help?

Mel flopped on his back stretching "well the moutain is so pretty, it's just saying climb me!"
Chiku laughed,"I liked to find a place with lots of fish, and flowers." still bowing his head " I wanna make a garden with flower hybrids, and plants that can cure sicknesses." smiling broadly
Mel then bops him on the head and just shrugs at the older Ulaya.

"That's an admirable goal... what are your names?" He was actually finding himself amused with these two. Maybe they could bring some cheer to the island.
"If you want to live here, I will consent, but you must be approved by the Goddess at the top of the mountain first."

Chiku stood up,< "My name is Chiku and this is my twim Mel, by chance the temple at the top of the mountain is where the goddess is right?"
Both brothers looking up in awe at the mountain top.
Mel, "where is your village?"

"Yes, Chiki and Mel, the goddess will see you at the top of the mountain, but there isn't really a temple... we just put offerings on the plataeu every so often."
He wanted to get going as soon as possible, so that they didn't run out of light on the way to the top of the mountain. "We don't really have a village here, but there is a cave we reside in. There are a few 'rooms' to the cave, I'm sure you can both find one. But let's get to the top of the mountain. I'm not one for wasting time."
