Well i got my update from isotank music, and this made my day.

Cruxshadows news finally! a new single entitled 'immortal' with a fantabulous cover might i add, coming july 8th, and to follow up in late fall this year theyre coming out with a 'best of' cd!

here it is folks...directly quoted from iso tank.....

"How does a band follow up two back-to-back Billboard #1 singles, a successful tour of China, numerous festival appearances throughout Europe and the release of their strongest-selling album to date? With The Cruxshadows, it's anybody's guess, as the band has never been one to adhere to industry norms or conventional wisdom. As they plot their next move, the band plans to keep their insatiable fan base occupied with a lavish and long-awaited "Best Of" collection, due out in Autumn. The Best-Of will feature three new tracks, one of which is now being released as a single. The "Immortal" single features three mixes of the title track, a new remix of "Ariadne" (from their most recent album) and an exclusive B-side, "Exile." This new single provides two brand-new tracks for hungry fans and promises to set the stage for an avalanche of interest in the band's "Best Of" release later in 2008.

Released July 8th, 2008 on Dancing Ferret Discs.

Track Listing:
1. Immortal
2. Immortal (radio edit)
3. Ariadne (legendary mix)
4. Immortal (our souls enduring club mix)
5. Exile " -Iso Tank

Immortal sounds fantastic! I'm interested to see how two violinists enhances their sound because so far they're doing a great job. I can't wait for Immortal to be released. whee

while i love CXS's music and what not. i'm REALLY waiting to see them live. THAT'S going to be the real test.

rogue can always make things perfect on CDs (i think he still does most if not all the programing still.) live... it depends on timing. their lives shows are going to be the real test for the newly formed CXS.

but i'm sure in usual Cruxshadows style they will not fall flat on their faces and be laughed off stage. (i know some local nongoth bands in my town have done that... they were horrible.)
