I have a few questions if you don't mind me asking. Where to start? Ok, well here lately I have been reading about different religions and I was wondering about Buddhism. I feel that I can only learn so much from books and I thought it would be a good idea to ask the people that follow the Buddha's teachings. I was a Christian but, since my father and I had a falling out with the church years ago, we both started reading up on different believes. I have become quite fascinated with Buddhism. The problem is, though I wouldn't consider myself Christian, I still believe in some of the aspects such a heaven, hell (so to speak), spirits, and a god. What I have learned about Buddhism is that some sects do not focus on an after life but, I can't help but believe that there is something after death. I thought about becoming Buddhist but, I don't know what sect fits my thinking.
