I almost bought it a couple of days ago but decided to buy a different book instead. I want to read it, though! If anyone has read it, tell me what you thought!

I just got it today and I'm so excited! The guy who let me borrow it said it was really good and he finished it in a day. I plan to start tomorrow since I'm in the middle of another book at the moment (darn it!).

My friend got it... She said it was "REALLY GOOD". Obviously, because SM wrote it!

Okay, so I started it. It's about a girl named Melanie who is in a resistance movement against these "souls" who have invaded earth and started taking over human bodies. She is one of the only uninhabited humans left and when she is captured and a soul is "inserted" into her body, she refuses to give over the control of her mind. Her new inhabitant, Wanderer, is quite strong, thoiugh not enough to supress Melanie and her feelings for the man she loves. Soon Wanderer begins to feel for that man too... I haven't really gotten far yet, but it's pretty good. I would say that it has more depth than Twilight and in some ways is harder to get through. Although it is an adult novel, whereas Twilight is obviously written for young adults. It definitely has the same highly addictive quality to it though...

Oh, it's an adult novel? Great!
Ever since I got into Chuck Palahniuk, I find it harder to get into books written for teenagers because they're so... typical ._.

I just got it a couple of days ago. I'm not very far (because I've been so unbelievably busy ._.), but it's good.
I heard from a friend of mine (who is OBSESSED with Stephenie Meyer's books) that The Host may become a series.

Now I really, really want to read it. I can't wait until the weekend so I can go and buy it! I have to read Valiant by Holly Black first, which is good so far so it shouldn't take too long. I'm so excited!

I've started to read it and am probably going to finish sometime this weekend. That is if someone, you know who you are, stops bugging me about it because I might accidentally take a longer time reading it if they don’t.
