Silver Hills Somewhere along the great road not too far from Sandleford, there is a small country village that's slowly being modernized. Here can be found the strange, rather unnatural warren known simply as the "Silverhills". It was aptly named from the piles of shining man-things that had collected there over the years when the men moved onto the rabbits warrens. Instead of being evicted from their homes, the rabbits changed their way of life to cope with the strange metal around them, and started new ways of their own, much like the founders of Watership Down. The rules here are vaguely the same, as far as they could apply. Raids were held by Owsla on the surrounding houses for flayrah and the Hay barn in the neighboring sheep farm. But there was one very clear distinct rule that was law. No one was to ever pass through the great wall that surrounded their warren. The wall was their safety from the elil outside in the meadows, and the Chief wanted it kept that way. This was the unnatural warren that Magpie would often speak of, filled with strange, un-rabbity things. This was Silverpaw Warren. Current plot~Some time had passed since the rebellious Magpie had been evicted, and life had returned, roughly, to normal. Only a few dared to mention the ex-Owslas name now, for heavy punishment was quickly rained upon any who spoke it. Still, Trouble was stirring within the metalic burrows. Someone had breached the wall, and lived to tell the tale. Was it really so bad out there? What is the Chief hiding so firmly under his steely paw? Needless to say, there were changes on the horizon, big ones. The one rabbit who had any clue to the outside world along with Magpie and the chief had been negotiating with the carefull leader. There were Hlessi on the horizon, and numbers were dwindling from the dreaded "Rustpaw". A sickness of the mind caused by the inability to dig and scratch against the metal and concrete around them. Could this rabbit, along with maybe a few others bring on a revolution within silver hills? This rabbit, that was only known as "Ix". (wooo long winded XD i'm sorry.)

Rules~
Okay you should know the drill with the main rules X3;;
Be fairly literate if you could, please. In between Essays and one sentence please!
This place has got some things that are most likely very inconsistent with real rabbits (Ie the rustpaw disease might not actually occur to confined rabbits), please bear with me X3;;
Please post a rough Bio of your rabbit before posting, so I know who's doing what X3;
Be aware that unless you're with the right supervision, trying to go through that wall will likely wind you up exiled or worse, so be careful!
The chief is an NPC character known as Clawtooth, but that's the most you'll hear or see of him. Even most the owsla never see him apart from a select view known as Elite. Please don't try to rp the elite? Captains etc are still fine though 3nodding
There's an extra role in the silverpaw warren known as "Herbals", they're a medic of sorts. They try and look after the sick. They're usually of no use but to give the ill some form of hope.
If your character is a Hlessi, you'll need an owsla to escort you to Ix, who's in charge of "immigration". Whatever he's doing it's fine to have a random owsla push your OC at him, he'll deal with it and let you do your thing 3nodding

Characters currently in role play <3Name: Ix Rank: Captain of Owsla (Elite) Gender: Male Appearance: Quite a speedy build with a mop of redish fur along his head and back. Longer ears than usual, causing them to lop either side of his head and tear along metal in the runs. Has very sharp eyes that can be intimidating to those who don't know him, which is pretty much most of the others. Piccu!Personality: Quite cold, seems to not show much emotion at all. Can be sarcastic and harsh with his words. Shows warmth to a select few. Bio: Being only close to Magpie, He was under much scrutiny from the other Owsla, however, because of this, he was forced to be the one to Exile him. Like usual he showed no emotion in doing it, but he wasn't sad to do it, after all, it was what his friend wanted. Nowadays he's considering where his loyalties stand now that his rebellious friend had escaped, and seems to be plotting something. Character: Poe Creature: Raven Distinguishing features: Always carries a small wire around and has a silver identification band on his right leg Bio: Once upon a time, in a nest far away.... Actually, Poe lived a very natural life for much of his life up until a few months ago. After being used as a test animal to analyze brain capacity for birds, Poe was simply written off and was no longer fed and left to fend for himself. With a fear of humans but a fascination for their creative things, Poe sees himself as a daring individual who stood up to man and won.... whether or not this may be true Name: Lavender Rank: Normal Gender: Female Appearance: She has grayish fur with black-tipped ears and a patch of black on her tail, also has black ‘socks’ and a white patch on her chest. Personality: The type that generally stayed away from trouble and can be found helping the Herbals from time to time, though never took up the title herself. However, she is pretty well know to be curious. She is fond of looking at her reflection within the shiny metal… a vain flaw of hers. Bio: She was born within the Silverpaw warren and can never remember ever going out beyond the scrap yard. All her food was generally brought from raids and so she never had the need to silflay in the fields around the area. She respects and admires the Owsla… and sees the infamous Magpie as a coward to run away from the warren, despite the threat of Rustpaw. Name: Ayuvi (Ah-luu-vee) Rank: Hlessi...? Gender: Male Appearance: Golden fur with dark patches around his eyes. He has thre vertical slashes down over his face and a strange tag hanging from his ear. He also has white under his feet. Fairly large, but definatly more of a runner's build. Personality: Chilled out and outgoing. Bio: A curious Hlessi who seems to have been to Silverpaw before. Name: Lemongrass Rank: Normal Gender: Male Appearance: Unseemingly thin, Lemongrass has deep black fur that clings strongly to his heavily ribbed body. His left ear is completely white, and the discoloration continues into a patch over his eye. His eyes shine a dark onyx. Personality: Lemongrass comes across as very intimidating, thus he tends to keep to his burrow near the entrance of the warren. He has ears about though, knowing the social goings-on of everyone in Silver Hills. Many of the younger rabbits look to him for his unspeakable wisdom. Bio: Lemongrass was the runt born in the same litter as the Clawtooth. Though they are brothers, Lemongrass, like all the others, rarely sees the chief. As he grew, he learned to pay attention (very close attention) to everything that went on in the warren. He knew things that he was not supposed to know, things that put him in a position of intimidation. He preferred not to be watched by the Owsla, so he kept away in his burrow. Because of this though, he often didn't eat. At first it took so long to adapt to the change, but in the Silver Hills warren, anything was possible.

"Tattered feathers again.... that caw! caw! blasted cat!" The ruffling of feathers was heard perched on the topmost point over the entrance to the rabbit's warren after a newly landed raven decided it made the perfect site to stand. One leg raised, a glinting silver something at the ankle, held clutched between it's black claws. It looked to be a wire of a bendable gauge, not too thick and not too thin. Either end twisted slightly of the bird's own design to fashion himself a tool as he pleased to deal with the yummy food bits the men placed in odd devices. It must be unbearable for them to go about trying to get the yummy tidbits with such stubby fingers; one needed a firm beak to bend wire just so.
With a few loud Caw! Caw!s through his muttering, he seemed to have made right his feathers after nearly getting pounced on by a cat earlier that day. Indignent, the bird fluffed up and finally paused a moment to take in his surroundings. What a mess... So much scrap metal one could build a cannery here. Surely there were other things prowling about in all this metal that would like just as much as that cat had wished to take a bite out of his feathered hide.

Ix flinched slightly as the sound of a crow hit his tattered ears. He was plenty used to such birds that appeared to be attracted to shining objects, but still their cries would startle him slightly. He looked up at the feathered beast atop of the wall. "Must you be so loud? The other's havn't woken up yet!" He called to it, scratching idley at his ear.
It was early morning, and as usual he was one of the first to rise. He had been sitting on an old car seat watching the sun slowly rise over the barns in the distance, thinking to himself.

A louder more obnoxious noise escaped the raven as he flapped his wings to rise to another perch higher in the air. When he saw that the voice had come from a rabbit, the avian intruder gave an audible sigh of relief. With talons clicking on the metal, the bird shifted it's wings once they were folded and hopped down to it's original perch. "I'm sorry, it's not my fault my feathers are ruffled. It's the Caw-caw-cat's!" Lifting a wing to preen under it a second, the crow froze a moment before lifting his head and taking a good look at Ix. Peering over the metal he'd perched on, his tail feathers reached up to the sky. "What's a rabbit doing in a place like this?" He questioned, tilting his head comically without intending it to seem that way.

Ix blinked at the strange crow. "You're not from near here are you, crow? This is Silverpaw Warren. We live here." He told him quite calmly. "You should watch out for cats, they're all over the place here, the men like them here." He warned, seeming to grow a tad bored. His ear raised a little bit, though the weight still caused it to droop low as he listened around. Only the sheep and the late lambs could be heard. "Are you injured?" He asked after a moments silence, turning back to look at the creature.

With a rustle of feathers, the raven flew over to the carseat Ix had been resting on and stared down at the rabbit with beady eyes. "Not Injured, I'm Poe." He said with a caw of delight at his own joke. Unfortunately for the little rabbit, the close quarters was likely to make the noise extremely loud. "I'm just a city bird, tryin' out this country lifestyle. Cats, they ain't so big in the city with man. What's your name, short-stack?" Obviously uneducated in the ways of rabbits, the raven's glossy beak was but a pawswipe away from the rabbit, and seemed to like trying to figure him out. Puzzles were something Poe adored, though he'd never come across a rabbit shaped one before.

Ix flinched, crouching low in attempt to keep his hearing from harm. "Alright alright "Poe", keep it down will you? Your voice is annoying." He told him bluntly, rubbing at his long ears. "City..huh? You birds and your strange travels..." He shook his head, looking around at the sky breifly. "My name is Ix, and as wonderful as your food may be, I'd rather not smell it." He told the crow as he pushed the shining beak away from his face.

"Sorry, pardon me." The bird stood up fully instead of leaning over the rabbit and began to look around at the cushions of the car seat. "Lots of men in the city, but there's almost no grass. Heh, you rabbits might be suited for it if you like all the flat shinies man makes." Poe commented before changing legs that held his piece of wire and scrached at his beak with the banded leg. It jingled back and forth pleasantly enough to catch the early morning light. "There wouldn't happen to be any food here, would there? This big ol' scrap heap's got a lot of shinies, but not much food for birds or bunnies."

Ix yawned, eying the metal on the others leg. It was much like Shiner's ring on his foot. What was it with these birds and the shining metal? Listning to his words about the men and their city, he nodded breifly in acknowlagement, before turning to climb onto the back of the seat, motioning to the large barn not so far from the scrapyard's gate.
"We get our food from there. They hay there is sweet and fetched for us, but for those who prefer the silflay they eat with the sheep. That is the closet we get to the fields." He stretched some, before scratching again at his ear. "Though, those who eat with the sheep run the risk of being trampled or facing the dog who guards them. This dog seems to be the only one I know that shows any sort of intelligence.."

"Ahhh.... if only I were back in the city." The crow murmured dreamily as it glanced to the barn. Stretching his legs to the fullest to get a better view, the raven would tower over any rabbit on equal footing. "Food lines the black ground and man delivers it in silver platters, but they seem fond of taking it away every Tuesday..." The trashbins and dumpsters were more than likely a foreign concept to a rabbit, but the bird didn't seem to mind. "The little vroomers would probably get eaten up by the big ones who eat the food in silver trays. Oh, sorry, what is it you rabbits call them? Hrudu.... hurumdiedoo...." Trying to wrap his beak around the rabbit's words were harder than he expected, and the raven looked to the little sentry for the right phrase.

"Hrududu." He stated plainly, looking up at him in the corner of his eyes. He had been paying attention though didn't look it, having been staring around the grounds as the sun cast shimering lights on it, along with some other Owsla beggining to start their rounds, followed by some other, lesser ranked rabbits. "You get green things here. The homba usually attack them near the man houses. Never seen them taken away, we don't often go near the black road. But the magpies tell us of such things."

(Yo! ^_^)
Name: Lavender Rank: Normal Gender: Female Appearance: She has grayish fur with black-tipped ears and a patch of black on her tail, also has black ‘socks’ and a white patch on her chest.
---
Lavender awoke from a loud cawing from somewhere above ground and lifted her head glancing around a moment before yawning and hopping out of the burrow and into the morning sun. She saw Ix a ways off talking to a weird bird... oh.. a crow. She snorted... at least it wasn't that infernal shiner. She sniffed about and found a scrap of flayrah left over from the last night's supply and nibbled on it a moment before her eye caught on a new shiny mirror that had landed in the area. She left his side and looked at herself, combing her ears and priming herself up. How unfortunate it was for her to be vain..
Once done, she hopped over to Ix and the crow he was talking to. It was apparent the bird was not exactly putting the owsla in the best of moods.
"Who is your new friend..?" She asked, cocking her head some, eyes narrowing in curiousity and slight suspicion.
