So you want to join the Syndacate do ya?
Well Chicago's a big place, and you need to know exactly how this s goign to work.

Each Speakeasy gets it's own thread. There patrons will come and go as they please....You're posts, will move from thread to thread!

That being said, things may get confusing...but I think with time we'll manage.

Threads are not limited to Speakeasies.
No, other places such as the Library, the Rosebud, and homes of the characters are also places that will exist here.

Now, thinking of joining a Syndicate?
Let's start with 52....

Syndacate 52

The stars of our roleplay, these four groups of people are our heroes.
They must keep secrets, and keep in business...

The top three spots, King, Queen, and Jack are for Crew members only (most are taken anyway) they're the top dogs who run everything, and only crew are here often enough to play as them..

The other 10 spots? They're free game...Take your pick members, and get to know who you're working under...

Members of the 52 are not insanely rich, but some can be better off. They come from all over the world, though some subsections tend to have preferences....

Checkmate

The Checkmate Syndicate is split into two sides...
Blacks
and
Whites....
((we may add reds if there's enough interest in the rp))

The whites, are rich, filthy rich. Either that or particularly lucky. Kings, Queens, and Bishops are for Crew only...
They also tend to be a bit on the cruel side, standing at nothing to bring down opposition...

The blacks are scattered from the wealthy to the poor. They're very musical and enjoy their work. They are however deceiving...so watch your back...

King Me, Kiss Me

King Me, Kiss Me or the Chequer Syndicate are unknown...
They've yet to really show their faces in Chicago...

((Open to all members ^.^))

Others

Other Independent Speakeasies exist in Chicago of course...
There's the Gin Mill of Mr. Al Capone. He's a big time Rum-Runner with a stock house full of Canadian wines and ales. On Chicago's most wanted, he doesn't get to have many patrons...
SO his men sell their stuff to other Gin mills who can't steal it themselves...

Other independents lie around....We just have to look harder...

Competition Rules

All of the Speakeasies have agreed on the following set of rules.

1) No one liners
2) No cybering
3) No spamming
4) No Godmodding/Powerplaying

*reads rules*
What? No no Murder rule?

No Kiki darling, in the 1920's it was quite common to murder competition under certain pretenses...

*sigh* Sorry Rouge...No murdering without the permission of the murderee....I can't have an invincible psycopathis Doyle running about killing people...
