So I got to playing CoD again, and went to the tower of evermore.
ASDFGHJK.
I DIED 3 levels down. D8
(I was at level 59 mind you)

Ever go to place and go, 'CRAP THIS IS HARD!'

D8 I am right now. (will never beat @CRAZY mode at this rate for CoD)

I must admit, it did take me quite a few attempts in the tower of evermore before I was finally able to get to the bottom. And the great disappointment is that the gold skeleton at the bottom (which gives you that wonderful miracle egg) is only ever there once. So if you go through hte tower a second time, it won't be there anymore.

I found that a high level corpsey worked very well in the tower and considering the amount of monsters, it wasn't too hard to find heart drops to replenish its health.

Ahh, that dang tower. My source of training; I use many colourful words on its inhabitants and the like. Most times I accidentally run Hector into the line of fire of a Gaibon. (bad habit)

And there's something I've noticed about CoD: Has anyone ever noticed that you can play the game with two controllers at the same time? I don't know if it works for any other console, but on the xbox it sure does. You can have two people controlling Hector at the same time over two different controllers. Go figure.

Ahh yes, the dual controller malfunction. Now I say malfunction because I was fighting Nuculais this one time and I was wondering why Hector continually insisted on running his little mop-headed self in circles - right into Nuculais unholy glowing hands - and then I noticed the other controller sitting upside down and, upon picking it up, Hector gained a few brain cells and stopped.

On another note, I found the worst part of the tower of evermore those darned fleamen. They can be a good pain in the bad eye, hopping about like a loony, why can't they stand still while you try to pulverise them to a bleeding mess?

They've always been like that, even in the old NES games when they were known as "Igor".

Its just CoD is SO FREKING HARD. I bet Crazy mode in LoI like, twice. Also, Boss rush mode sucks too.

Ahh yes, Isaac. Know hours upon hours upon hours of endless training and struggling until you finally think you're strong enough, only to have Isaac own you halfway. Yes, I know Isaac on Crazy mode.

*Crosses off CoD of her list of Cv games to possibly one day own* Unless, I want to spend all that time leveling at stuff. Do you use guides for the hard parts in a game?

Oh, never! Castlevania would never need a walkthrough, and besides, CoD was one of my favourites; you've gotta get it. Seriously I got way more mad at CotM... domokun

Oh CoD is really not that hard. The only hard part is in CRAZY mode, which I quite personally think is a bleeding good thing. After all, all the bonus modes in other games (especially PoR) are far too easy and require very little skill or at least much less than in the original game. Crazy mode was a stunning if not pleasant surprise when I got killed by the very first monster (although it was ten times taller than me in the first place)

If it makes you feel any better...my brother erased all of my data from my PS2 memory card. I was at Walter in LoI and was at Dracula in CoD and now I have to start all over again. gonk

The last tower is quite tough but it's not as much when you level up like crazy. I remember visiting the last tower when I was at level 65 and I couldn't finish it. I had to go past level 75 to be able to actually finish the darn thing. And all for a gold skeleton? They should have made it so you could get more cool stuff like, I don't know, items that are too tough to steal for example. I would have loved to see a "Death's Pulse" in the last floor, as well as a few other items I couldn't steal at all. 3nodding
BTW, I think this thread should be at the strategy sub-forum but maybe that's just me. sweatdrop

That tower is the stuff! Sure its difficult but its probably the best challenge here in my opinion, specially on @Crazy mode. I mean sure this isn't as bad as Haunted Castle but I think this is my favorite challenge. Its also a good Grinding area as well.
