It was a warm evening, the sun not long set and the party atmosphere had hit the streets. Everyone seemed to be out, teenagers in ridiculous fashions standing gossiping in groups, couples were flocking at the cinema, tourists in standing around in miss-matched gear, staring up at unfamiliar signs in confusion...

JJ dogged his older cousin’s steps with a measure of apprehension. Some how the loud-mouthed redhead had convinced seemingly half the club to visit some godforsaken club downtown. JJ was slightly muzzy on the details at this point, weren’t they staff of such a club? Didn’t they in fact have those jobs to be getting on with tonight?

He quieted the voice, admitting there was a measure of jealousy there, his cousin was five minutes in town and already he knew everyone and everything without an effort…
He was happy to be out however, to be getting to know the place. Tai had lent him some… interesting gear, and he was almost prepared to admit he didn’t look completely silly by the time his roommate had finished with him.

JJ hung back and joined with the larger group as they walked, happy to be taking in the night air, and this was why he was one of the last to realize exactly what kind of place it was Niff had seen fit to bring them to..

He kept asking how he had agreed to this, and each time he came up with the same answer: it was for work. Brad had told himself he'd try to be more personable with the staff and less Host-ish around them, since most people seemed to mistake it for being himself. A sick, sad mistake, but one often made all the same.

Trudging near the back of the group, he followed with his hands tucked within the back pockets of his black jeans over his nice pair of boots, a short-sleeved black button up worn open over a navy tank top. Not his normal get up, but knowing where they were going, it was best if he had some means to take off an outer layer after being near throngs of drunk, horny men. His indigo eyes shifted around a bit, hoping that the group he was following wouldn't be that throng.

This was all terribly strange, all that had happened recently, and he was more than happy to pin the blame on Searan. He was the one who hired him, afterall.

Tai positively beamed at his handiwork as he ran another (platonic!) appraising eye over JJ. Yes, he indeed still had -the touch-. Amazing fashion sense, even when he was so very limited. The boy hadn't been able to fit in much.

He was surprised the one out in front that he'd heard referred to as Niff had managed to get more than one or two others to join him on his night out. Nodding his approval, the redhead slid a silver cigarette case from the back pocket of a pair of tight black slacks and lit up. He was very proud of the new boots he'd purchased just the other day. They were buttery soft black leather and came to mid thigh without looking overly outlandish. Perfect fit, even down to the slight heel they had at the bottom. Topping it off with a fine white shirt with a little ruffle about the low V neckline and sleeves, he felt quite prepared for whatever the night might bring.

This was going to be fun. He was most certain of it, and Remiel wasn't wrong all of the time. The idea of spending a night out on the town with his co-workers seemed like a perfect one. They all needed to get to know one another, and this would help those who weren't fitting in to find some niche of their own. Besides, surely they would do interesting and fun things, and Remiel never turned down an opportunity to have fun and socialize. It was even a pleasant night, not terribly cool, and the air was brisk and clear. Really, it didn't matter to Remi where they were going, so long as they went there together. That was the only important thing, that they hung out as friends instead of mere co-workers. It was a model plan. He had forgotten who had come up with the idea. It definitely wasn't him... he had never been all that good with coming up with original and interesting ideas.

Remi was content with walking at his own pace, a little to the back of the group, but still obviously immersed in it. He would have hated being at the very end, or at the very front. In the middle was just perfect for him. There were people surrounding him that he could easily talk to, though he had yet to bring up any topic of conversation. He was unnaturally shy, but he made that up with quickly warming up to people once they got past introductions, and said people showed no indication of wishing ill will or death upon him.

So far everyone that worked at SHC seemed nice, and he even thought that it would be easy for him to fit in. At least no one seemed to outright hate him, and that was always a good start when entering a new environment.

The food was good, but in Hae-min's opinion, her company sucked. And that just ruined the appeal of the food, so she had been pushing it around her plate and tuning her brother out. The location sucked, too, but that was a different manner she didn't even want to think about. At least this dress was nice and relatively hanbok-like. (It was a navy blue qipao, but she wasn't particularly aware of that.)

"Hae-min! Are you even listening to me? I am talking to you. Over here. Hey. Hey. Don't you ignore me." She ignored him and put her fork down, fully intending to stare out one of the blackened windows until Tae-yul decided he was bored. This worked quite well until a piece of a roll bounced off the side of her head.

And that was it. Unlike the rather embarrassing incident the other day, when she hadn't had her cell phone and didn't even know her address, she could get home if she so chose. "You not have to throw roll at me," she said firmly, standing and walking out the door. She was closing it behind her when she spotted a large crowd led by a man who looked like he'd stepped off the cover of some American romance novel. Even with the strange mixture of curiosity, pity and disgust aroused by that outfit, she might have turned away to call home.

Except she'd spotted two people she knew, and since she could see Tae-yul through another very black window in the door, Hae-min decided it was a lot safer to lose herself in a crowd. Especially since Brad looked like he was walking to his funeral. "Brad," she called out with a big smile. "And Remi! I so happy see you!" She quite cheerfully joined them at the back of the group.

Kenta looked ridiculous, well, that's what he thought anyway.

He felt like a fish out of water not wearing his long sleeves, pinstripe dark vest and his formal pants and leather shoes. But somehow, in his head he wanted to be more 'casual' for going out tonight hence his 3/4 sleeves, dark jeans and slip-on shoes. He had just borrowed those clothes from his half-brother which was rather, a traumatizing experience when his brother proceeded to dress him up in horrendous clothes. Shaking off those bad thoughts he walked at a slow pace as he joined the small group, not really sure of what to do. He shrugged it off anyways, since he was just there for the sake of being there and this would maybe help his job in some way.

The young man spotted familiar faces, some of the people he did not know the name but just knowing that they were part of the club was enough for him. He dig his hands to his -shudder- dark jeans and bowed his head a little, his purple eyes following everyone like a hawk.

He was predicting this experience to be, interesting, not fun. But maybe they could prove him otherwise.

Xan prayed. He prayed when he got dressed, when walking out the door, when all the others began greeting each other. He was praying now as the strange kidlet next to him chomped on his Snickers bar and holding ... a stuffed toy? He just prayed. This was far out of his field of comfort, going to clubs with a group of people some he barely knew. Dressed as casually as he would allow, he had on dark blue acid wash jeans, white long sleeved shirt buttoned half way down his chest (courtesy of Tai), his locket poked out from underneath and tan Timberland boots. He left his Stetson at home and oopted for his high ponytail (also courtesy of Tai). Looking to his left he couldn't help sighing and sending yet another prayer to the heavens. "Lord help me..."

The kidlet refered to was none other than Cada, who was content with bouncing happily while indulging himself with a snickers candy bar. He had eaten a good portion of it during the groups jaunt to the club. Cada had opted for something rather outlandish in clothing, wearing those candy necklaces and braclets, a few glow in the dark accessories and a ringpop all to top off his black coveralls with one strap unhooked, over a white tee shirt. This was preperation for the club atmosphere (he thought there would be a black light effect). Still he walked suprisingly silent more eager to save his energy for the party rather than waste it on the walk over.

JJ fell into step beside Tai, looking around in apprehension at all the unfamiliar faces. There was a young waiter he’d seen around the club, he wasn’t sure of his name... same for the woman who had apparently walked out of a restaurant and was now in happy conversation with one of their number…
He smiled as he accidentally caught Thanatos’s eye. The man looked as nervous as JJ felt and he couldn’t resist slipping a friendly arm through the cowboy’s as they walked.
JJ’s heart flipped as he took in his friend’s damningly attractive attire, he’d never seen him so casual. He blushed and looked away quickly as the group stopped moving and his outrageous cousin’s voice rose over the hubbub.

Niff grinned as they rounded a corner into a busy alleyway, stopping before a rather plain black door flanked with a couple of the meanest bouncers in town, complete with MIB style earpieces.
“RIGHT LADS!” Niff raised his voice, trying to get the attention of the whole group. He scanned it, grinning at familiar faces. He barely knew most of the people he’d dragged out… but hopefully that’d change by the end of the night. “I.D. out young ones, its fifteeen quid in! Stick together it’ll we find a couple of tables, it’s gonna to be packed as a nun’s… well very full!”
He grinned at the bouncers and ushered everyone in to the smokey club.

JJ had been uncomfortable enough with the bouncer leering at him over his passport and as he rounded the bottom of the stairs into smoke and blaring music he could have fainted. Directly in front of his scarred-for-life eyes danced a woman on the table, wearing really and truly not very much at all. JJ looked away, hurriedly, ashamed that he’d even seen it and cursed his naivety for the second time in a few short days. The club was tight packed and smoky, corridors, rooms, tables and dancing bodies merging into to one truly frightening place.
He found there was nowhere much he could look without blushing; women danced on stages throughout the rooms – in fact not just women.
JJ panicked and covered his face with his hands, choosing for the time being to stay very, very still.

The grim expression he wore very likely looked like someone had died...or was going to shortly. Brad knew everyone in the vicinity save for two, the vampire and the candy-fiend. By the looks of them, he wasn't entirely sure he wanted to be too personable, but that would defeat the whole purpose of coming, wouldn't it? He cast a faint but not entirely pleasant smile at JJ and Thanatos as they walked, shaking his head to himself. Poor Xan...but it was his own doing, anyway.

He was going to resign himself to making Kenta miserable when he heard his name. Indigo eyes swept over the streets, lighting upon a figure he knew quite well. "Hae-min," he rumbled a greeting, extending a hand to her in greetings, "you look lovely." It was all very casual, but inwardly he was resisting the urge to scoop the woman into his arms and thank her for breaking the tension that laced through parts of the group. He stooped down, whispering playfully, "You're not lost, are ya?" It was all he said to the young woman, not wanting to butt Remi out of the saving grace she presented.

His attention shifted briefly to Niff, drawing out his ID without really thinking along with the appropriate money (for himself and Hae-min, it was habit and happened without a second thought). It was only once he was inside and got an eyeful of smoke, oogling men and naked bodies (that were not all of the female persuasion) that he realized what a horrible mistake he had made.

The man had already lost sight of her in the throng of smoke as everyone came in. Damnit. He hung out near the doorway to make sure he could turn her around or escort her out if she so wished, crossing his arms and looking almost as surly as the bodyguards.

As Tai moves into the smoky throng, he looks eerily in sync with his surroundings. His attire seems almost perfect, more for the dancers than the patrons, but it worked. He spots JJ stopping cold and cannot help but touch the boy on the back and smoothly usher him forward with a kind smile.

C'mon, follow Niff and we'll find a table without half naked people all over it, alright? He speaks warmly in the poor boy's ear, just loud enough to be heard over the pump of the bass.

He hops quickly upon a vacant chair and glances behind him to be sure that all the ducks were in a row. Unable to see everyone but relatively satisfied, he winks at a few whistlers now giving the poor man catcalls as he was about even with the dancer on the table before jumping down to join JJ again.
He'd been to places like this before, no doubt, and moved with ease through the crowd, deftly avoiding bumping or jostling against drunken patrons with a fluid, catlike grace.

The look on his face seemed to brighten instantly, as if someone had exclaimed 'Ah, there is life!' and it had happened, when Hae-min suddenly appeared. He was already quite good friends with the young woman, and he was likely the person he most got along with. They had similar interest, similar habits... and they just got along. Of course, neither were hard to get along with to begin with. "Hae-min!" he exclaimed happily, his bright look being shown to Brad, because once it was there, it obviously was not going to go away. Besides, he liked Brad. He was a perfectly fine person, and very polite and kind. Sometimes it seemed if people had issues with Brad, or at least where ever Brad was there seemed to be yelling... but Remi dismissed that easily. He liked going on his own opinions of people, and Brad was definitely 'okay' in his book. Of course, nearly everybody was 'okay' in his book, so it wasn't nearly exceptional as it would be in Mr. Antisocialantinice.

"I'm so glad to see you, too. I missed you so much! What have you been up to?" Of course he was eager to jump into a conversation with his lovely friend, and Brad too. In fact, he'd like to get the chance to talk to everybody at once, but since that would be rather chaotic he would have to settle to talking to two or three people at a time. He wasn't a terribly bright person, so he could only handle so much before becoming overwhelmed. Besides, some of these people could be rightly described as... eccentric, or at least unusual.

He vaguely heard that he was supposed to pull out his I.D., and so he did, and shortly after he was ushered inside of the club. Unconsciously he had pressed closer to Hae-min, because he firmly believed in the buddy system, and he claimed Hae-min as his buddy. It was packed, and it wasn't a good kind of packed. The atmosphere was stuffy, and he could see smoke coiling its deadly tendrils around the people, tenderly carressing their victims. All right, so he didn't like this place. With half-naked people added to the mixture, he was made even more uncomfortable.

"Hae-min?" He glanced to his side, hoping he hadn't lost her, because he would cry if he got separated from her. Well, he wouldn't cry, but he would become quite distressed if he didn't find somebody he knew to cling to. Remi wasn't fond of this place, that much was clear, so he needed some moral support through this escapade.

She gladly took Brad's hand and looked over to her brother with a face that clearly said nya nya, he's bigger than you. Being as Remi was so sweet, she paid attention to his question first. "I replanting garden," she told him, making a face. "It really such a mess." Then she turned to Brad and started to answer his question with one of her best smiles. "Not lost," was all she really had time to say before she had to present her passport and was ushered inside.

And she would have freaked out and burst into tears, except Remi was right there. Since he was like her little brother, she had to take care of him first. So she turned away (making a little bit of a face as she did so) and reached up to pull Remi down to her level. "It okay, stay with me. We not have to look," she said kindly. Actually, at her height, she couldn't really see much more than people's backs if she kept her eyes level. After that first glance towards the people on the tables? She kept her eyes very level, and didn't look up except in quiet searches for Brad. "You not going to get lung sickness, you leave if you like."

Hae-min gently tugged him to the back of the club until she bumped into a wall, and then started the relatively difficult business of locating Brad. He was tall, so it should have been easy, but she was short, so it wasn't. "Look at me," she said calmly, even though she was anything but calm. After a moment of searching, she pulled out her best 'family dinner' smile and hugged Remi. "It okay." He hated smoke, and she wouldn't let such a good friend end up crying- she knew he would- because of such a tiny thing.

No, they could cry later over the horrible mental images they were now stuck with.

Kenta sighed a little and looked around, since that was really the only thing he could do at that time. Handing some money out for the entrance he blinked at the sudden envelope of smoke and coughed a little at the aroma of alcohol that entered his nose at the second he entered the place. He closed his eyes and took the time to recollect the reasons of why exactly he was there.

The young man glanced at where he was and his purple eyes widened because of the sudden inflow of flesh. He stood there frozen for a second before retreating near the entrance, and that was when he spotted Brad. And at that second, he hadn't been more happy to see the man, but as his eyes lingered he saw that the host was accompanying a woman, a pretty girl actually, but she did not really seem to be the type to hang out in this club, let alone, Brad.

He shrugged, well, that was why he was here anyway, to make more friends and to.... socialize. At least attempt to anyways.

The other people in the group proceeded to go deeper into the club, seemingly excited and ready for action. Kenta on the other hand was really unsure and confused at all the yelling, chatting and dancing. It seemed like this night was going to be a night of confusion for the young man. Looking away from the array of dancers he used his hands to cover his face, looking like a child in the process. He stayed in his place, as if glued to it and being close to the entrance meant that he could go out and escape this any time, and he felt a little-- comfortable? Though he spoke to soon. He then spotted a few girls looking at him suggestively. His polite instincts kicked in and he bowed his head a little to the said women. Oh this is going to be disastrous.

Xan looked down on JJ with a thankful smile. One of the few who could calm him when things were out of his control. He continued on in silence watching everyone interact amongst themselves. The young woman who had joined them he never met on a personable level but it was thankful for a change in the mass of men the floated down the street. By the time they had gotten to the club, Xan was near to changing his mind. Pulling his ID out and paying he was welcomed into the club with a curtain of smoke that made even him cough for a moment in surprise. Trying to follow the crowd he momentarily bumped into someone at the entrance and peeked one mint eye open to find Kenta staring at the sights before him. Xan would have been happier if he hadn't paid any attention as his eyes opened and took in the sights. "Good Lord..." The lewd gestures and catcalls were one thing but seeing such poorly dressed women and men tossing their bodies this way and that. It didn't take long for him to make up his mind to leave.

Cada however was eager to get inside and with Thanatos and Kenta blocking his entry he was not pleased. Tennis shoes met a clothed butt as he booted Xan out the way to get a better look at his surroundings. Slipping the last of his candy bar in his mouth he gleed happily huggying Mr. Happy to him as he slipped passed heading for the front of the crowd. Golden eyes wide he looked left and right not at all impressed by the lewdness of the place but just happy to be some place new and lively. "Hell's yeah.. this is going to be so much fun!" He quickly made his way toward Tai being of the many he knew a little better and peeked his dark head from behind the other with a wide grin. "Hihi!" He greeted having not had a chance to do so before the group got underway. With his fever finally gone Cada wanted to celebrate his getting better the only way he knew how. "You want some candy?" He asked pulling out a bag full of rock candy from Mr. Happy's zipper pouch. "I got plenty to go around."
