Who knows of portals that lead to the other worlds? I know of a few...Stonehenge was a portal to the other worlds, but it shut down some years ago due to people stop understanding and believing magic and the creatures. I think I'm meant to reactivate it. Maybe.
Another portal is pretty much all the henges that are throughout Europe. I don't know of any more, though.

Oh ya, and people can be portals too...I think I would technically be considered a portal because the Veil is part of me...

while that is true i believe your thinking to grandiose. There are very simple portals such as spirit boards and other such devices, some can be opened by people, and some are naturally forming.

I think "portal" is a misleading term to use. Yes, those places are special, but I've always thought of them as anchors. Weights on the fabric of things. They don't open and close. They're like areas of overlap.
That sort of thing can't happen with a person, because you're be walking in two or more worlds simultaneously. While that's possible for brief periods, you're concentrating on one or the other. If you tried both for any length of time, you would fail, and it's only a matter of time before you fall into a chasm or walk in front of a truck or something. If people COULD be a permanent... thing, they wouldn't last long, ne? wink
Also: PORTAL = AWESOME.
