Storm had wondered into an unfamiliar part of the forest she was used to being alone but she had got herself lost and was starting to fell a bit down. It had began to rain. 'Oh great, just what I need' she thought. "Well I guess I'll find a dry place to stay till this passes."
Storm looked around and saw a hollow tree close by. 'That's the perfect spot' she thought as she ran to it.

Shiki had been relaxing in a tree, his wings and tail hanging off the side. She bright blue eyes glanced around curiously. He thought he had heard something and, of course, just then the rain started. He blinked light and glanced up toward the sky.
Then he looked back down as he heard the speeding footsteps come toward the tree he was reclined in. He watched her carefully with his bright blue eyes. She seemed to be very lonely to him. He always had a way of poking out someone's true feelings. He hopped off his branch and landed down in front of the hollow opening to the base of the tree.
"Hello there Miss!" He said, smiling bright over toward her.

Storm was surprised she backed herself to the wall of the tree, "Hello, I wasn't expecting to meet anyone out here." she relaxed at little, he didn't seem to be dangerous. "Umm, I'm Storm. Pleasure to meet you sir." it was still raining outside she noticed he was getting really wet "Oh I'm sorry, did I take your tree" She shifted over to make room for him.

He blinked lightly, seeing he a spooked her a bit. He couldn't help but let a small smirk run across his face. He enjoyed sneaking up on others, however it was all just fun and games for him. He'd never really hurt anyone.
"Nice to meet you Storm, my name is Shiki! Do you not like the rain? I love it! All the puddles to splash around in! It's wonderful!" He spoke in a rushed voice. He sounded just like a playful kid. He patted his foot in a small puddle that was already beginning to form.

She smiled at him. He really did enjoy the rain. "Well Shiki, the rain kinda follows me when I'm down...so it's hard to love it, but the sound does calm me." She watched the gray clouds roll around the sky, it didn't look like it'd end soon. "I don't think this is my storm though." A bug crawled into the opening of the tree to get out of the wet. Storm stepped on it. "Are you hungry?"

Shiki shook his head and plopped down right outside the space that lead into the hallow base of the huge tree. "Can't say I'm all that hungry. I've kinda been pigging out these past few days. Not much to do around here!" He said, laughing lightly.
"The rain follows you? That seems a bit weird...However I do love it! Wish it could follow me around!" He said, smirking lightly at the thought.

She lifts her foot off the beetle and let it run away she preferred fruit. A smiled stared to from on her face. "It is weird....that's why people don't stick around me, never heard of anyone wanting my rain." Then she noticed his wings....she had found it hard to look at up at him before. "Oh your wings....does the water not bother them. I don't even like the feeling of pruney paws"

Shiki watched as the beetle scampered out into the rain and then he looked back at Strom with a bright smile again. He shook his lightly. "Not at all! The rain rolls right off them! It feel nice really." He said, standing up and shacking the rain off lightly. He then stepped into the hollow base with ease. It really was a big tree, one of the older ones that had plenty of room to grow before others sprouted around it.
He stretched out one of his wings toward her. "See, almost perfectly dry." He said, nodding his head lightly. "So what brings you out here Strom?" He asked, his voice full of wonder as he watched her with gentle blue eyes.

"wow, your wings are so big." eek her soft blue eyes seemed to study him. "I got lost....but how can you be lost if you never belonged anywhere in the first place" ((She was never certed- my own fault)) She said is a soft voice. Then Storm eyes seemed to match the cloudy sky, but She smiled at Shiki "You know I think you are the first Lemur to every not mind being with me" She laughed a little, but then she remembered 'he would leave her soon enough, they all did she was too different.' The rain picked up. 'oh no' she shook her head 'must be positive. must be positive. Shiki seems nice. He doesn't think I'm crazy the rain eased again. She look at him again , with an awkward smile on her face.

Shiki blinked lightly, sensing how deep down she really seemed to hurt. He sat down next to her, his long tail wrapping around his paws as he sat. He wings rested lightly on his back. He smiled gently.
"Everyone belong somewhere Storm. Even if most end up wandering most their lives. As far as not running or ignoring you goes, I don't see why anyone wouldn't like you. You seem kind enough to me! As gentle as a soft mist in the morning." He said, smiling lightly at his comparison to the rain in the morning.

Storm blushed deeply "Thank you Shiki" She got a little teary "you are a very sweet guy, I don't believe I know anyone like you." The rain stopped and a huge rainbow came out in the after noon sky. "Maybe it was my storm." She smiled at him again then ran out side.

Shiki blinked, seeing the tears in her eyes. He was just about to wipe them away when the rain stopped and that turned his attention back toward the forest. As soon as he turned his head to Storm she had already bounded outside, into the wet forest. He smiled lightly and bounced out after her, jumping into one of the puddles caused by the rain,

"I never liked the rain, but I love the forest when it stops." Storm dodged the splash and jumped into a tree. "the smell of a clean forest, the feel of a cool breeze." She climbed up to the canopy. "The rainbow, isn't that just beautiful." Storm Smiled while looking out at the rainbow with the cool breeze blowing her fur.

Shiki stuck his tongue out at Strom as she dodged his little splash of rain. It was then that he noticed the huge rainbow in the sky. It really was beautiful. He stared at it for a second, and then glanced over at her up in the tree. She jumped into the air and in one swish of his mighty wings he was next to her on the branch.
"That's another plus to rain, the after effect! Everything seems to be dancing with life after it rains!" He said, smiling brightly as he glanced around the now sparking forest.

"I want to show you something, another weird thing about me, don't freak out, I think it's kinda cool." She jumped up into the open air, but she didn't come down. Storm was floating on the wind over the canopy she seemed as was as weightless as a ghost. "You have your wings I have my wind." She smiled at him. "I really do love the way this feels. You are lucky to be able to do this when ever you want, I usually have to hide it." She had a big grin on her face. "I don't feel I have to hide anything from you." She dropped down to a branch near by and smelled a flower. "Everything is better after a storm."
