(This is the hideout for the Sabbot)
PostPosted: Mon May 12, 2008 9:57 pm

Selbi was filled with anticipation of tomorrow's paper as she entered the Sabbat clans acclaimed warehouse. Sitting on one of the window ledges basking in the sounds of a New York City night, Selbi sipped at a bottle she had filled with the blood collected from some business fellow who had made the mistake of thinking 'a little late night paperwork wouldn't kill him'. Giggling at the memory of the man trying to defend himself with a book, she took a rather large swig. A perfect feed would have been to have had some janitor walk in, the look on his/her face would have been priceless. And perhaps to have avoided getting a blood stain on her shirt.

It would be superb, Selbi decided, if the man was important and if high business status. She'd be a clan celebrity amongst her friends for a day or two. Nothing wrong with an ego boost.

Selbi exchanged her filled bottle for empty ones. The only issue with having her latest feed in the newspaper was the possibility that one of the imbeciles from the Camorila would see it and look into it. But the higher the feed was the better the blood and more fun. Selbi also changed her tee shirt. After all she felt there was no need to wander about with blood-stained shirt.

Selbi relxed against the wall, drinking her reward. The 3 best times of any kill were: 1) The look of horror and the sudden fear-overtake the eyes of the victim had their final moments. 2) The time to relax and relive the kill while drinking the bottle blood and 3) The time when she was recognized for her work. Just a moment's 'I heard about such and such' was perfectly fine. She always kept the people alive just long enough to feel her drink from them and then leave them to become surrounded in puddle of their own blood. And she always stayed to watch them take their last, struggled breath or last gurgle, depending on if they were drowning in their throats with their blood as it was with her latest accomplishment. Selbi eyes glittered with pride and chuckled pleasingly over the memories. The fellow had even made the attempt to reach out for his phone before he fell lifeless to the floor, hitting his head on the corner of his desk.

Selbi also enjoyed carrying a mirror to let the human see its last minute and to admire the brick color her lips became whilst covered in the victims blood. Selbi then wandered to the window. Why shouldn't humans die at her and her clan's hands anyways? Selbi's clan and her kind have been cast into the depths of shadow and night yet, they frolic carelessly in the day. And at night the moonlight does not sear and char theirskin as the sunlight would her's. They do not cower in bright corners an hour before dusk as Selbi slinks into a dark corner an hour before dawn. Humans never had any constraints. They are not powerless at night or chained to the day. But Selbi and her clan would shine in the moonlight and release their might unto the humans.

The sound of foot steps begin to echo into the not so empty warehouse. A shadow moves across the ground independent from any object. As the steps become louder the figure of a man walks into the abandon building. His face is cast down and he does not speak. The echo of the steps seem to fade out as the room itself begins to darken more than the moon would allow it to. The sounds of dripping water are soon silenced and after that it is as if the world had become mute. Aidrin walked to a collecting water source and bends down putting out a hand speckled in blood. Not noticing any others in the room he washes off the traces of the nights ordeal. Shadows about him dance, they morph and move in and out of shapes, faces. All of them hideous. Aidrin does not look up, he knows they are there. "Good job tonight." His lips pronounce. "We are done for tonight, I give you leave." At his words it was as if the shroud was lifted from the building. Water dripping echos through the now less empty warehouse. Aidrin rises back to his feet and looks around. He grunted to himself and stepped into the puddle, and as he did it was as if Aidrin had stepped into black inky quick sand. Slowly, his body descended into the ground. He closed his eyes as the inky blackness consumed his shoulder blades. "Yes, for tonight." he whispered and smiled smiled before there was nothing left of him.

The musky factory was anything but a lavished establishment, but it held it's own. Oddly, Luca had grown accustomed to the little hide out he and his clan used on a daily basses. Upon a red couch the Noble sat, his mind all a twitter as he flipped through the latest paper. Such dire news lay sprawled across its face, black and white letters of doom. All there was missing was alittle red to brighten the mood. Dripped in noir, a devilish smile spread across his lips as he turned a page. "My, things are changing and fast-" he mused simply, crossing one leg over the other as he sat. A light sigh escaped his slightly parted lips, ears the twitched picked up the sounds of his kin. Causing trouble no doubt- how the fallen loved his line of work and family. Growing bored, Luca folded the paper and tossed it aside, riffling his locks he yawned. Checking his watch he wondered if there would be anything to do as of late. He'd already taken his fill, so food wasn't the matter, but what now? Let the news come to you, Though the Sabbot had a grusome rep. Luca was one to be laid back, his metheds came and went slowly from time to time, but they proved to be deadly. Like the black Momba's strike, once a victim was held, there was no escape. Folding his hands neatly upon his lap the noble waited, the life around him buzzing-

Selbi remained in her spot at the window, hardly rustled by the sounds of others. If they were here, they were supposed to be. Selbi's mind wandered to her next feed. She was full and had plenty in her bottles, but who would be next. The last few bloods were heavy, and she supposed to look for someone with lighter blood, and less chalky tasting. One of the dancers from a club might do, or perhaps a late-night gas attendant?~FCA

As previously determined, Selbi's friends were most please with her kill as she was with theirs. They all laughed and she even passed her bottled blood about for a celebration. Which is what led to feed-need. Shelbi gathered her daggers, several extra bottles than usual then headed out of the warehouse and toward her target(s).

Selbi relished in herself in victorious misery at the warehouse and squared away her bottles, taking one she had chosen as her favorite. She had totally forgotten about security cameras! She wouldn't have even thought about it had she not walked by an electronics shop that happened to have the TV in the window on. Muttering cusses at her idiotic mistake. Now, she'd have to change fashion, for a while anyway, take care of her bag and with a kill-feed that big so quickly after the other, and stupid cameras, she decided it best to keep a low profile and avoid another feed and much less another kill. She drank from the bottle and enjoyed the change in taste. After the close-timing of the kills, questions would be arising and investigations, and stuff Selbi did not feel like dealing with any more than needed/already was there. She figured if she cared enough to, she could always dye her hair and she ,for her own privacy purposes, went off to another nearby warehouse to spray paint her bag. then clean her daggers.Oh well, publicity wasn't the worst thing. Heh.

No publicity wasn't bad at all, showed the greatness of the Sabbat. Yes this particular adventure would definitely be chalked up as a success. Clan Pride, Control, and Blood, that was Sabbat.

In her temporary style change, Selbi switched skirt styles and shoes, and varied up her shirts to long sleeve with short sleeve over it. Her bag was now purple, not green, the strap white not black. She headed off to a salon. Selbi put on a hat and headed out.

Returned and adored her new look. Her hair was a big difference and this new make-up was great. She got a bottle from the big kill-feed and fed away in celebration. Publicity, good blood, new look, this was going perfect. For now anyway and Selbi was going to indulge deeply into the blissful time.

Selbi thought of how to do this. She'd need to make sure to keep up with her new look, maybe getting some decor eyeglasses and keep up with newspapers.
