Near the edge of the mountains, there is an abandoned rock quarry, where people used to dig up the rocks there, for different uses. It's a great area to practice your skills, and it's nice to battle here as well. There are open spaces among the fallen rocks, with several places to hide, or duck behind a projection, for cover.

Atrimis walks into the quarry, followed closely by Tempestra. He looks down to the little lightening-catepiller, and smiles. "This looks like a good area to practice. I bet some of these stones will conduct your electricity very well."
The bug-like-monster bobs it's head up and down, sending a small spark into the air, from it's antenna. Atrimis's smile gets bigger, and he points at a rock, "Alright then, Voltage!"
The creature growls, as a small blast of lightening flys from it's antenna, and blasts the rock, knocking a small chunk out of it. When the blasts disapates, the rock continues to glow slightly. "Just as I thought, it's holding the power of your lightening."

(( I'm going to rp in the monsters I just adopted, if that is alright. ))
As the small lightening creature nodded, a soft musical note reached their ears. From behind the rock that was just blasted, a bear with a horn appeared, bowing gently to Atrimis and his companion.
"Hey buddy, how are you? Did we frighten you?"
The bear shrugged, and started to dance slowly, playing it's music. Atrimis took a step towards the bear-creature, and held out his hand. The music stopped, and the bear took Atrimis's hand. They had made a new friend.
Atrimis looked at the bear-creature. It was a female light animal. He smiled, tossing her up in the air, and catching her, "How about we call you Celest?"
A happy musical tune filled the area, as if in response to his querry. He smiled, setting her down next to the worm-ling. "Celest, this is Tempestra. Tempestra, Celest will be joining us."
Tempestra sent a small spark into the air, then hopped around in place. Atrimis smiled as his monsters got along. They started to romp around the rocks, and gravel, chittering, and honking happily.
