 Please do not take this image as your own, I took it myself in Brawl >O Its a Brawling World![Note: This roleplay exists separately from the Subspace Emissary in the actual SSBB game, please remember this.] In Sakurai City the 3rd Annual Super Smash Brothers games are being held, drawing all sorts of contenders in, but only 35 may compete! All contenders are housed in Masahiro Prince Hotel in the scenic downtown Sakurai, just a 5 minute shuttle ride from the arena. Contenders are housed on the 25th through 30th floors. All rooms are of equal quality and very accommodating, no room sharing is necessary. --- Rules: Characters:Pick out a character from the lineup or from any of the Nintendo games and those from Metal Gear (because Snake needs Otacon and Raiden to cheer him on XD). Only Brawl lineup characters may participate in "brawl" activities, all others are civilians so its basically as fans or as shop owners/employees. Civilian characters may be from any Nintendo-console/handheld supported game, past and present. (Aka Street Fighter, Harvest Moon etc). No OCs, please. One Brawl contender per person. Assist trophies count as special contenders. You may have either one contender and one civilian character or two civilian characters. Setting:The overall setting of Sakurai City depends on the participants. For sure there is a SSB Arena, Masahiro Prince Hotel, the downtown area and a few residential districts, but beyond there could be anything. Just so long as its PG-13 friendly, we must keep within TOS afterall XD (remember, no strip clubs!). Bars (milk or otherwise) are allowed in because they are included into E rated Nintendo games. Civilian Brawls:People fight outside of a boxing ring all the time, so the civilian characters can too! Just theres no illustrious title and prize involved in the match. Brawls between contenders and civilians might come at a consequence though ninja

Sheik's red eye glanced down the hallway at the sound of a creaking door, watching as a happy little maid emerged with a handful of carefully folded towels, humming to herself as she set them on the trolley on top of the "dirty" label. She shifted about, getting used to her body's transformation, as it had been a while since she had reverted back to this form. In appearance she looked almost indistinguishable from a man, the athletic and well sculpted pecs and abs which were the result of her transformation gave no hint of femininity, although perhaps her hips were still a bit slender for a man's. Her "disguise" after all was much more than appearance, actually dramatically changing her physiology to appear as if she were a man, though of course certain areas remained unchanged.
She was waiting now for Link to appear from his own room so they could leave for a quick spar in preparation for the next tournament. Her fingers strummed on her crossed arms and she glared a hole through the door. "Link, are you ready yet?" She asked, her voice disguised as a man's. Why would I even bother asking? Whats he going to say? Heeeyah?

The door opened a little, blue eyes peering out at Sheik, a naked arm being threaded through as the man held up his finger as if to say "One minute please!" Without a word he moved back inside, though didn't bother closing the door behind him, a jingling of chain mail vaguely heard.

Her eyebrow went up at the sight of his naked arm. "You haven't even put on your clothes yet?" She asked, with a bit of a frustrated sigh, turning away from the door in case she caught sight of something. "Why do you even bother taking any of it off? You've practically been wearing it since birth." Zelda usually wasn't this open with those around her, but Link was a childhood friend, and they had spent more time with each other as a result of the tournament. "At this rate we won't ever get any practice in before the start of the tournament."

He laughed a little at Sheik's annoyance, smoothing his white cotton shirt down before slipping on the chain mail he had been holding in the crook of his arm, careful not to get his hair caught in the links. Link looked around, thick brows rising toward his hairline as he blinked, not seeing his tunic anywhere. "GYAH!" The man flailed his arms a little, an expression of panic he'd never really grown out of. He ran to the door, grabbing Sheik by the arm and dragging her inside.
"Ta heyet!! Gah!!" The blonde hero made many hand motions to try and explain that he couldn't find his tunic and that he couldn't just go out without it. "TEYA!!"

Somehow over their long years of friendship Sheik had learned to decipher the messages of her mute friend. "Well I don't see whats the point in bothering to find it, we might as well buy you a new one." She said nonchalantly as she glanced around the room before walking over to his bed with a confident stride and reaching underneath the bed removed the tunic with a single pull. "Honestly, you didn't think to check underneath your bed? Thats the first place everyone looks."

The blonde man pouted, poking his index fingers together. "Nn..." His expression pretty much said "But I don't know how it got there...thats not where I left it!" He took it from his childhood friend, slipping it on over his head with ease and hurried up with putting on the rest of his gear.
Except he didn't know where he put his hat too. "Het...gyah!" Link got down on his hands and knees, peering under the bed again. "Ha!" He reached further under the bed, grabbing his trademark green hat and tugging it on with a big grin.

Pit sat on the roof feet dangling over the edge watching the people move. He watched those arriving looking for a worthy challenge.

"If you didn't put it under there then how did your hat get under there too? What, did the faeries put it there?" She paused momentarily as she was walking out the door. "Actually, don't answer that." She continued down the hallway towards the elevator, pressing the button and not bothering to look back to make sure he was following. I hope we don't get stuck on the elevator with Ganondorf again, thats always so awkward. There was a ding as the doors slid open.

The man followed his friend out as quickly as possible. Both versions of the woman had always walked at such a brisk pace that sometimes the laden down hero had some problem keeping up. Link felt slightly offended that Sheik would joke about fairies. They were nothing to joke about!
"Gah!" He caught the elevator doors as they just started to close, slipping inside to a space that was thankfully only occupied by his companion. Link flashed a sort of embarassed grin at the other, rubbing the back of his head.

Thankfully no one else had been on the elevator, preventing an uncomfortable, especially cramped atmosphere and the inevitable pointless and awkward small talk that both parties felt obligated to engage in. "The arena is empty for the time being while they're preparing for the tournament, so I thought we might get used to the area ahead of time and test out some of its functions." She felt a little awkward talking so much, it was more than she was used to in this form. Usually she was almost as silent as Link, except for occasionally providing mysterious and poetic insight on a situation, it was all part of her disguise. "Zelda" was more the talker, and even then she didn't speak as much as most. The doors slid open and Sheik once again took the lead out into the lobby.

He gave his companion a meaningful look, a thick eyebrow quirking just slightly as he fell instep beside Sheik. "Teyah?" He asked quietly, unused to the tenor voice being used so often. The green clothed hero eyed the disguised princess, it finally dawning on him how unusual that it wasn't just the Princess walking with him but the Sheikah.

"A dress would restrict my movements, and I haven't used this form in quite a while. This is practice after all, and it will take both Zelda and Sheik if one of us is going to beat this tournament." They had both emerged from the Hotel, whose many floors cast a shadow over Sakurai City which was only rivaled by the arena's. "And this form tends to draw less attention..." She murmured glancing over at a group of Gorons, Zorans, and Hyrulians who had gathered to see the tournament. "Too often do the spectators cries of support turn to the rowdy roars of a mob on the hunt. They desperately cling to the fame, wisdom, strength and courage of their heroes and leaders, too often believing they might tear it from their bodies."

"Ha..." Link made an awkward noise, not expecting it to be such a serious explanation. Combat of this kind didn't seem like quite the serious matter that his princess saw it as.
Suddenly his stomach rumbled loudly, making his cheeks turn red in embarrassment. After all the preparation he'd forgotten to grab something to eat!!
