Well what I'm trying to say is this:
There are more sexual scandals in protestant churches then in Catholic ones.
yep. ok well thats NOT a good thing, but it shows that WE as Catholics don't have to worry anymore that it was just us.

ya i hate these things. i hate to see it cause its so untrue. i betcha all these reports are set up by the freemasons! *yes they exist* *no im not insane* *they have infiltrated the Vatican and changed the mass to the horrible thing it has become* *but thank God we are fixing that and he was exiled to Iran* *which is btw hillarious because the muslims are there XD* *yes this is all in Vatican historical records*

Honestly, any organisation is going to end up with a few bad members sooner or later. It's just a fact that not all people have good intentions, and they're bound to end up in a religious group eventually. Does that make the religious group bad in itself? Of course not. It just means that some bad-intentioned people managed to get into it.
Same thing happens to schools, businesses, and entire national governments. People get power-hungry. People do bad things. It's a human thing, not a Catholic thing.

I know about a priest, to him happened the following: Some woman said that he molested him which was not true. But the rumour was enough so he got a worse job than he would have gotten without the stupid rumour. Some priests wear the ... um.... (whats the word???) roman collar(?) to create a certain distance to people they talk to.

If anybody says anything about the scandals I barrage them with facts and information about Pope Benedict XVI's (awesome Pope) visit and how he basically fixed everything. If they continue to rant I tell them they are just being childish and ignorant, then I pray for them. razz
