Victoria sat in a field of grass with a few flowers scattered around here and there. she was grooming her fur and was hissing at the wind to stop blowing because it was messing it up. "Stupid wind..." She mumbled before sighing, "being pretty is so much harder than it looks~" She didn't stop grooming herself till her coat shined. Once finished she began to walk around abit.
Maybe I should get a flower to compliment my fur~ she looked around at all the bright colors than narrowed her eyes, no, they'd be too distracting, and none are good enough, they'd just be an insult~ Sticking her nose int he air she continued on. In her head she sang "I'm so pretty". Except I'm not just the prettiest than anyone today, I'm prettier than anyone any day.~ She sniffed, pretending to be a princess even though she knew, or at least thought, that she didn't need to pretend for someone else to know. I'm just that perfect~! She repeated the same lines she said in her head and out loud as she did everyday. No one can match me~!

 Her long fur brushed and scattered around her face obscuring her few of the field around her. err why does this have to be so long? She huffed swinging it out of her face as the breeze died down. One day i swear i'll cut it off. It's so impractical.
The scent of flowers and something, someone else filled her senses. Poking her head out from the long grass and wild flowers she spotted a moving purple Ulaya heading the opposite direction. Tilting her head to side she examined the female. She quite pretty. Not the best, but definitely worth checking out. Kalista smiled to herself and started through the long grass trying to cut her off before she went to far.Getting closer the sound of her voice caught her attention. Wait... is she.. she is.. she's singing! Her ears perked up to listen for a moment as she moved just behind the purple colored female. "Hey"

Victoria stopped when she heard a voice and she turned her head to where it came from to see another ulaya. She blinked, taking in her appearance, before jumping back in shock, she's... she's prettier than me! That's impossible!!! She turned her head away, hiding fury and rage that burned in her eyes. Once she calmed down she turned her head back, trying not to make an ugly face, cause she didn't want her face to be stuck like that. She opened her mouth and forced sound to come out, "h-hello...!"
How dare she be prettier than me... I just want rub mud all over her face! She tried to not let her fur bristle. Victoria tried to look for some flaws, she's... she's very plain looking! Didn't work, Victoria always admired pure white fur and long hair. Grrrrrr!!!!! She mentally sighed, trying not to let plotting thoughts of killing this other ulaya fill her head.

Apparently, her sudden appearance had scared her, or at least shocked the female Ulaya from the way she was acting. "I'm sorry for the surprise, i just noticed you back there" she swung her head slightly behind them "and figured someone like you shouldn't be alone." she smiled not noticing the signs the other Ulaya was upset by her presence. She's even prettier up close
The wind swept through the field once more, twirling her hair in her face as she fought to keep it down. "Sometimes I hate long hair, it always gets in the way." she said audibly while getting it under control again. Yup, after this, this hair is so gone..

Victoria blinked, hm... she's courteous at least. She was still trying to figure out how to reply when she made the comment about having long hair. She cocked and eyebrow and opened her mouth to say something rude about how she should be grateful to have long hair but then closed it and thought for a moment. True, long hair was pretty but no matter how pretty it is if it just gets in the way then it may not be worth it. "I see... never thought about that." Hm, if short hair is a pain in windy places then it imagining it long must be unbearable... Victoria blinked curiously, right about now she would at least mentally smile at the other's misfortune, and laugh at the fact they have to suffer but had not some unknown reason. Hm, guess I just have found some respect for this other ulaya then.

Kalista nodded and smiled slightly. "Yeah, you should see it when i get done bathing, or when it rains" she twitched a bit just thinking about how unmanageable the heap of hair on her head was. "it becomes a complete mess and takes hours to fix." she eyed the waves in her eyes with a peeved expression and blew them out of her eyes. "But yours is just long enough to look nice." she said cheerfully. She doesn't talk much.. hmm. "Were you headed anywhere in particular?" she asked curiously.

Victoria nodded, all that sounded pretty reasonable... "Yeah, but it's kinda plain having the same hair as most other ulaya..." She said, grimacing a bit at the fact she was so regular. Hm, but I'm glad that she thinks it's nice! She shook her head, "nope. Just looking for a new home I guess." There was no way she was going to live traveling like half of her foster family. "So far I haven't found any place very suitable to my standards and tastes..." Vicky was very picky.

"It's not plain at all. I mean, how many Ulaya's have you seen with you hair and hair color?" she smiled lifting her own paw, examining the longish hair that dangled from it. "I'm white for goodness sake. Now that's plain." she said looking up to the female while placing her paw back to the ground.
A new home.. she smiled longingly, remembering her old home, then snapped herself out of her trance. "What kind of place are you looking for? One with a view, an accommodating one, or one that just looks good.?" By the way she was acting one that just looked good. kalista guessed

Victoria smiled, she liked this other ulaya, she didn't think highly of herself like Victoria did. "Eh? I'd be proud of white fur, it's like... high-class sorta? I mean... if white fur doesn't have a speck of dirt on it then it shows that you're of a well-mannered society and were raised well." She wondered how to word it...promptly-looking? She thought about Kalista's question, never thought about that... "Hm, one that just looks good and works accordingly, meaning it's useful too. I guess. And also looks like my old home too." She shrugged, she had assumed she would know what perfect home would be for her once it was right in front of her.

"High class, huh?" She grinned and laughed slightly at the thought of herself being in a high class society. "That's definitely not me."
Kalista nodded. "That seems understandable. I'm more of a wanderer myself." she smiled slightly as a bright white flower caught her eye. I'm sure she'd like this.. Picking the flower with her teeth, she placed the flower in her hair and smiled. "It suits you"

"Neither was I, especially with the person I was raised with, but I like to believe so at least," she mentally grumbled thinking of Axident... the little monster truly was an accident. Too bad her foster mother wasn't the kind to abandon children when she didn't like them
Victoria blinked as the flowers was placed in her hair, hm... She imagined herself for a moment, it did suit her. Victoria smiled, "white, huh? Never would have thought of that, for one not of high class you got some pretty good taste in colors," she said jokingly.

"Well I only just learned it from you" she smiled and started padding forward in the direction the female was headed but looked over her shoulder as she spoke, wondering if the female would follow"And besides, that color fits you best I think." I never asked for her name! I must be loosing it.. she stopped a moment and smiled. "So what's your name, pretty lady? Or should I just keeping calling you Pretty Lady?" she asked teasingly.

White... for a color I always held in high esteem for it's prestigious-like nature I neglected to think if it would ever fit me, she thought as she began to walk as well. Guess I don't hold myself high and mighty as much as I always did~! Ha! I'm not proud! And this is also proof that I'm perfec-... Oh wait. Victoria laughed, feeling a bit of an ego boost, if it was possible to push her ego anymore, "well, as much as I like to be called that I'm Victoria." She nodded her head, "what's your's?"

She just hoped she liked it, and if it gave her a bit of an ego trip, then so be it. She smiled as she continued gradually walking. "Victoria..." she considered that for a moment. Yes, it definitely fit her, a bit regal, it reminded her of a name a goddess or someone important should have. But this one definitely had the attitude for it, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing. "It's suits you quite nicely" she nodded. "I'm Kalista"

"Thank you," she smiled, glad her name suited her. She just hated it though when someone tries calling her Vicky, usually they end up with a bloody nose it they had ticked her off already multiple times. "Kalista? That's a pretty name, it suits you as well," don't know how, but it just does. Perhaps it's because it sounds elegant.
