I used to do a monthly rant about the new MCs when they were released, so I figured that since I've started doing it again, I'll post it here too
HERE WE GO!
ELEMENTAL WINGS!
It's nice that they offer singular wings, without forcing you to own two of the item to have both wings (ala the dark halo arch pose), but surely the last thing we need is more big ******** elemental background items. I for one, don't like hueg items. It's a b***h to make nice avatars when half the space allowed for it is one item.
The artwork is nice though. Well... aside from the hideous wind wings which don't even match the wind hair from the elemental hair due to a gross weird tinge. Maybe it's a statement about pollution? Whatever it is, it's a shame.
Oculus Mythica
I do like eye items. What I like about these, as opposed to Oculus Magica, is that
A) There are more poses
B) They don't mess with the background and add stuff. There's no flowers in the background when you want blue eyes, or rainbows when you want pink.
That being said, there are a few things I take umbrage at.
The first half of the poses don't seem to sit right. They're too far to one side, or t'other, they're too small, they're too big, they're wonky or they're ugly as hell. Call me crazy, but I demand realism in my interchangable magical eyes!
May I just say
- wtf gaia. That's dark as ********! I don't have a problem with it, but for a kid's site, that's kinda messed up.ARENA PREDICTIONS!

To conclude
Wings, while pretty, are a cop out and aren't very creative at all
Eyes are nice, but could use some fine tuning.
