Sadly, this list will never be complete. I was in another guild that suddenly closed. The owners deleted all of the threads in that guild without informing us and I lost many profiles that I had made. It's sad, but maybe one day I'll peice the characters back together.

~RACES~

~Echean~

Brief Description: Echeans were created thousands of years ago by a mage wanting the perfect weapon. Once created, though, they turned against him and killed him. Afterwards they went off to conquer as much of the world as they could.
Now a days the race has settled down in a small country. The bloodlines have mixed little with others. All Echeans have 'wings of the soul', which are wings display colors to match their true soul. These wings can come and go at the Echean's will. Some have animal characteristics as well, such as fox-like ears, scales, or claws.
Location: Guarded by eight large mountains that form a protective circle. Echeans live in the valleys between the mountains and the hilly grass land that the mountains surrond. They share a border with the Serpen and Vespians.
Strengths: Flight, elemental powers, weapons, speed.
Weaknesses: Tire quickly, require a lot of food/fast metablism, don't like change.
Economy: Mining, selling out mercenary groups.
Population: Roughly eight thousand.
Rulership: The Echean Councils. Two councils, greater and lesser, with ten members each.

~Echelon~

Brief Description: A very new branch of the Echean line. They, unlike the few other branches that were created, have survived. For the time being they live in the Echean country, though it looks like they have plans to start their own.
Unlike their Echean parents, Echelon do not have elemental powers. Instead they can change shape into one type of animal. Their 'wings of the soul' now carry the colorations of that animal instead of soul colors. For the moment the Echelon population are children, but as they grow older they may become a force to be feared.

Strengths: Speed, adaptablity, shape-changing.

~Serpen~

Brief Description: Vicous, back stabbing snakes is about the kindness thing one can say of Serpen. There is not a single decent Serpen in all of their country. No one knows quite how they came about, but these fercious creatures aren't going anywhere.
Serpen resemble humans to varying degrees. All posses scales and fangs, some have talons or claws. Some Serpen have hair, other don't. Some of slit eyes or forked tongues.
Location: To the north are the Echean/Echelon mountains, just before them is the Serpen grasslands. There is a thin strip of hilly country seperating the grasslands from the Serpen Desert. The Desert borders the ocean. The Serpen share borders with the Echean/Echelons, Vespians, and Wood Elves.
Strengths: Poison, scaly armor, emotional distance.
Weaknesses: The cold, breeding, don't work together.
Economy: Exporting food and gems.
Population: Ten-Twenty thousand.
Rulership: None, each governs themselves.

~Shadow Guardian~

Brief Description: Shadow Guardians can be thought of as a branch of Echeans, but the Echeans refuse to accept them. They act as executioners for the Echean council and as a punishment for the worst of the worst. Shadow Guardians were originally Echeans, the ones that the Echean Council decided to punish with a tortured life.
How a Shadow Guardian is a created is a secret of the Echean Council, and they are some of the most feared creatures by the general population. How ever they are made, becoming a Shadow Guardian rarely makes them a better a person.
Location: Mostly confined within the Echean/Echelon territory, but they regularly remain in the Shadow Realm.
Strengths: Shadow control, difficult to fully kill, long life.
Weaknesses: Controlled by other races, confinement to Shadow Realm, disinterest in life.
Economy: None.
Population: One hundred and eighty-two currently alive.
Rulership: Appointed ruler, generally the strongest Shadow Guardian.

~Vespian~

Brief Description:
Location: Vespians are surronded by mountains and the ocean, they share a border with the Echeans/Echelons, Wood Elves, and Hiemalis. The valley between mountains is filled with hilly grassland.
Strengths: Night vision, empathy, quick thinkers.
Weaknesses: Loners, little physical strength, roam a lot.
Economy: Mining, ice, gemstones.
Population: Between ten-twenty thousand.
Rulership: Elected Queen, governs for life, rules with her court.

~Hiemalis~

Brief Description:
Location: The Hiemalis control all of the northern lands, the ice wastelands. They share a border with the Vespians.
Strengths: Control of ice, unaffected by cold, very strong.
Weaknesses: Too much heat, being alone, not creative.
Economy: Mainly ice and novelties.
Population: Unknown.
Rulership: Governed by the strongest man and woman, serve until defeated in battle.

~Neferti~

Brief Description:
Location: Four islands off the coast of the mainland. There are three smaller islands and one larger one. The Neferti also have several underwater cities as well.
Strengths: Breath on land and water, connection to ocean creatures, very fast.
Weaknesses: Easily injured, rarely fight, must dry off to walk on land.
Economy: Novelties, medicine, food.
Population: Roughly thirty thousand.
Rulership: Always ruled by a Queen and King, chosen through meditation to serve for life.

Name: Nadir Halcyon

Purpose: High ranking member in the Barrem government.
Weapons: Shape changing, daggers, short sword.
Appearence: Nadir has light brown hair that goes to her shoulders and hazel eyes. She generally wears a forest green jacket with light meleth (a type of metal/leather) armor beneath and under that a tanktop. She also wears somewhat baggy pants with a dagger strapped to both legs and a belt with two daggers in sheathes.
History: One of the oldest Echelons alive right now, they are a young race, she is happy and willing to bear her duties. She grew up without knowing who her parents were, like most of her kind.
Personality: Generally optimistic and happy, Nadir can turn sour and very unpleasent to be around at times. When it comes to her past, you're more likely to find an uncomfortable silence than answers. Sometimes she sees and treats things in a child like view.

Weapons: A short sword, several daggers, Shadow magic.
Personality: Seth tends to be quiet and stares off into space a lot. He can be serious too, though those moments can seem rare. He's a bit floaty, forgetting where he is or what he is doing. This never lasts long though, and it never seems to be happen right after he gets back from the shadows. It's almost like being in our world drains him...
Appearance: Black hair that hangs loosely down to his ears and falls in front of his face a lot. Seth has dark blue, almost black, eyes and seems a lot like a quiet book nerd. He always wears a long black cloak/robe, never ever takes it off. Often times he'll put the hood up, giving him a frightening appearance, almost of death itself.
Pictures: This is Seth when he is thoughtful/a bit moody or angry. Also this is what his clothes look like without the black cloak on top.

Name: Kine Celeriter

Race: Part Shadow Guardian
Gender: Male
Personality: Kine is a generous, open-hearted fellow, offering help and protection for anyone he sees fit. At times he is a bit too trust worthy and can easily get himself into trouble. He is calm and rational when others would run off to battle. That doesn't mean he is afraid of battle, merely that he likes to know the reasons.
Appearance: Kine stands roughly 5'8". He's thin and light, partly because of his light bones. His hair is pure white, hanging down to the middle of his ears and occasionally falling into his pearly eyes. On first glance most people believe him to be blind, but he isn't. His gaze can be quite un-nerving though. For clothes, Kine generally wears well worn breeches of an earthy color and a shirt of matching color. Sturdy, generally mud crusted, leather boots reach up to the middle of his calves.
Powers: Various spells, light and healing magic.
Weapons: Short sword, bow and arrows.
Bio: Grew up with his father and twin sister Ari, his mother having died in childbrith. His life hasn't been exactly easy, but he has tried to live life to the fullest and be happy for every day he has.

Purpose: Fleeing Shadows
Weapons: Spellfire, it appears in the world that I'aka is from every one thousand years. The power can sometimes consume the person who weilds. It can slay an army, a dragon, a great wizard. Spellfire can also heal a gravely injured person, help life to grow, and light a path through destiny. Spellfire, and the person who weilds it, can absorb magic and spells. This can result in an overload with major consequences for anything near the person. A short sword, daggers, hand to hand combat.
Appearence: Appearance
History: I'aka grew up knowing that there was a power in her, but never figuring out what that power was. It wasn't until the Shadows came to claim her world that she learned what she had. I'aka lived with her father, growing up an only child at the inn he managed. He was killed trying to defend against the shadows. It was that event that finally triggered the Spellfire locked inside I'aka. She destroyed the Shadows, and any other people, that were near her before staggering away. I'aka had been on the run from the Shadows since then.
Personality: On first appearance I'aka appears to be fairly simple-minded, sweet, and shy. She normally only puts on this appearance for strangers and sometimes people that scare her. More often she is bold, high spirited, with a mean temper. I'aka doesn't appear to know what a grudge is, since she doesn't hold one for longer than a few minutes. There are times when she acts whimsical, but she can be a very realistic person when it comes down to work, blood, and battle.
Other: I'aka hates dresses/skirts, any she considers 'noblity', and chocolate. She is terrified of snakes and heights.

Appearance: Raze is very pale, standing at roughly five feet nine inches. His pure white hair hangs down his back and is normally pulled back into a ponytail to keep it out of his face. His eyes are the color of the blood he works with, and aways seem distant and chilly. Raze generally wears red and black clothing and armor.
Weapons: Dagger, sword.
Powers: Blood Magic, some general magic as well.
Personality: Raze is fairly quiet most of the time, he can often be found reading or pacing, or both. His anger, when it shows, is frigid and chilly. Often times people that he doesn't like die of mysterious causes, which may be one reason that he has risen in the ranks of the organization. He respects only the leader, the Rank 0, and doesn't take orders from other people. Raze is a killer at heart, cold blooded.
History: Not much is known about Raze's past, but he escaped his own people when they found out that he was a Blood Path Mage. They probably still hunt him, but can't attack him with the support of the organization behind him. He doesn't seem to have any family or relationship ties though.
Other: People tend to stay away from Raze during battles. If he runs out of sacrifices he'll start grabbing whoever is nearest as his new sacrifice...

Personality: A bit crazy is what most people would say, but she's extremely smart. Karrie is a number person, she knows math like no one else. She tends to be very observant, but she doesn't always draw the right conclusions. Though she is very smart, Karrie can be a bit of an invert. She has few friends and doesn't seem to exactly understand people. Numbers are her 'people'.
Appearance: Karrie is obviously not the wolfman
History: Karrie is an only child. Her mother left the family when she was five. It doesn't seem to have hurt Karrie much. She loves her father to pieces and would do anything for him. Karrie's best friend is Andrew (she calls him Drew), they met in elementary school. Turns out he's a lycan. She's taken two college math classes and aced them with flying colors, while still in high school. The government has already offered her several jobs. Karrie turned them down. She wants to go to college and possible work for a private lab.

Weapons: Dragon Blade, forged with Star Metal, famous from the deserts, with a dragon hilt and carvings along the blade's edge. It is spelled to thwart magic and never lose it's edge.
Personality: Nelani can be a bit single minded, heading only towards one thing at a time. But she is very loyal and honest as well. She has a strong sense of honor and trust. There is an issue with her quick temper, but normally she can keep it under control. Nelani is fericious in battle, and gives little pause for mercy on the battle field.
Appearance: Nelani wears the traditional red and gold colors of her nation along with the traditional armor. The main design has held true for hundreds of years, but the materials have changed to suit the time better. Her skin is a dusky tan from being out in the sun, though she tries to keep it from going too dark. Nelani's eyes are a light brown color and her long hair is dirty blond. She measures up to about five feet seven inches.

History: Born and raised in the desert, Nelani was chosen to become on of the few female warrior mages. She took whole-heartedly to the training and has become one of the most famous fighters for the Kingdoms. She is distantly related to the old royal line and is favored by the current royaly, though they hold little power in the new government. Both of her parents are still alive, she visits them occasionally when battles are less frequent. Nelani is an only child.
Strengths/weaknesses: Powerful magic, moderate to accomplished skill with weapons, commanding personality.
Can't swim, magic disrupted by water, doesn't have a lot of endurance.
Other:After a terrible battle the army gave Nelani the nickname 'Angel of Death', despite the fact that she didn't want it. It's stuck since.

Powers: A techinque called 'Shadowing', where the person can wrap shadows around themself and appear invisible, also some basic magic
Weapons: Daggers, darts, two short swords strapped diagonally across and up the small of his back. (meaning they hang upside down and are held in their sheaths with a band of leather)
Personality: Kelan is a quiet kid, keeping his thoughts to himself. Most would say he's shy, and that is part of the problem. There are hints that something bad happened to him while he was in Zabey, but he never speaks of that time. As a general rule Kelan is compassionate, he tends to see both sides of the war and understands why people do what they do. Mercy, though, seems to be a concept he's unfamiliar with on the battlefield. Enemies must die, that's the way of life for Kelan.
Appearance: He has pale skin, dark black hair, dark brown eyes. His hair is straight, shoulder length and generaly tied back at the nape of his neck. Kelan doesn't fit in well with his people and is not believed to be a full blood from the desert. He's very slim and limber with wiry muscles. Kelan is also rather short, standing at only five feet, five inches. Generally he wears dark clothing that covers most of his body, hiding himself. Though this seems unwise in a harsh, hot environment like the desert.
History: Kelan was born in the EKD, but left when he was a young boy of four. He was taken to Zabey for training in the art of killing and spy work. His family left him there, never looking back. Thirteen years later, Kelan returned to the EKD, to help in their fight against Talretha. He was taken into Nelani's group as an assassin and spy.

History: Danny grew up in a small village and was viewed as a gift for her odd powers. Well, most of the time. There was that barn that caught fire, and the load of hay... But, overall she was loved by the village and her people. Danny left her home and went for training to be a fighter, so that she could protect people. Half way through training she found out that Arcadia (not the one in the guild! xD ) had attacked and destroyed her home. Almost everyone survived, but she never forgave them. And swore to fight against them for as long as she could.

Personality: Danny is a real tom girl. She enjoys getting messy, fighting, and hanging out with the guys. Danny is cheerful and exuberant, with more energy that any one human should have. She's the kind of girl that tries to make friends with everyone. And yet, Danny has become a 'Dark Knight'. This is because of an event in her past. But, aside from Arcadians, Danny is one of the kindest, most open person you'll find. Of course, she has her dark secrets, and a somewhat bad temper, but she's only human after all.
Other: Was once nicknamed 'Phoenix' by the Hielnas fighters. Hates being called that, but some still insist on the name.

For a long time she was plagued with self-doubts and unable to handle her own emotions. Kianna becomes very angry, very easily when she is upset or stressed. She can hold a grudge if she feels it is for the best.
-+ Brief Background +- Kianna lost most of her memory right after the bombing on the nuclear plants. She gets bits and pieces of it back from time to time. Sadly, a lot of it isn't very good. Often times if it happens to be a particularly bad memory Kianna will freak out and attack anything in sight until she is calmed.

Neki's white hair is short in the back and a bit longer in the front, reaching the bottem of his ears.

If something can speed him towards fame and glory he will twist it to his advantage. There is a good side to him though, his sense of honor won't let him hurt others nor leave others in danger. Neki can be caring and kind when he takes the time, or if someone is able to win him over.

Appearance: Redish brown curls bob at shoulder length and have a habit of falling into Bel's face. Her hazel eyes generally sparkle with laughter. Bel is about average height at five feet five inches. She's lean and thin, though suprisingly strong from wrestling with the dogs. Bel generally wears well worn, brown leather pants, scuffed up from dealing with animals on a daily basis. Sensible brown leather boots that reach mid calf cover her feet and protect part of her legs. Sticking to earthy colors, Bel wears a forest green, short sleeve shirt also in a well used condition. Her arms are laced in thin, white scar lines from dealing with teething pups and angry dogs. A thin scar runs along her right jaw line from another fight with the dogs.
Bio: Bel was born and raised on her family's breeding center out in the country. There was a town nearby where she went to school along with her older and younger brothers. Her father and mother ran the breeding farm and encouraged their children to follow in their footsteps. Bel was more than happy to do so and enjoyed helping to raise the dogs that her family bred. They bred and raised hunting dogs, watch dogs, pets, and helper dogs. When Bel turned sixteen she left the farm to explore and learn other techinques from other breeders. She returned two years later when her father passed away. Bel's older brother took over the family business, her younger brother had left for a private school and wasn't interested in breeding. It didn't take long for Bel to feel out of place at home. Luckily her brother asked her to move to a large city, Utopia, so that she could sell more of their dogs.
Personality: Bel is headstrong and often times considered bold. However, when placed in an entirely new environment Bel will roll back into herself and becoming very shy. She always curious about new things though, even when she frightened of a new place. Her favorite response to 'Curiousity killed the cat' is 'But I'm a dog, not a cat', which generally makes people roll their eyes. Bel is very affectionate to those who she considers close friends. But if she ever sees anyone harming any animal she will attempt to kill or maim them. To her harming an animal is the worst thing a person can do. Bel enjoys being around people and animals, having grown up around both.
Pets: Iahn is a hand raised wolfhound of Bel's. He has been her companion for the past two and a half years. She bought him while at another breeding center. Iahn's coat is mostly grey/silver with dusty brown highlights. He has golden brown eyes that tend to un-nerve people. His shoulder comes up to Bel's mid thigh, about two feet.

It seems like she's on a personal mission to make the world a better place. But there's a darker side to Karrie. She's filled with self doubt and loathing. Karris holds in all of her negative emotions, not wanting to bother others with her 'petty' problems. Like all humans, she has a temper, but it doesn't flare easily, nor last long.
Remebered History: A few memories of her friends, nothing of how she died or how old she was.
