Welcome the Livanthia, a world where the dominant race is that of the dragon breed. Their mighty forms and strength ruling over the land before them. Below them the human race stands as no more then serfs, slaves, and a minor annoyance that is a speck on their cultured land. Ah, but just as human civilizations they have their different races, cultures, and land territories. So thus after centuries of development 8 great clans have come to make their name known throughout the continent. Yet in this medieval time many clans find themselves warring and allying with one another. Welcome to an age of myth and legends, where the sky nor the sea are the limit.
Now the dragon breeds have found it easier to start traveling in the smaller, compact form of human features. Now often you will find the dragons in a demi-human form. Their bestial features still coming out in the forms of tails, horns, deformed ears, and of course that nasty fanged bite. With these forms there is also a new problem arising. Cross breeding within the dragon and human race. Halflings are often ostracized from both civilizations so they are rogues and often find it hard to fit in into any nook or cranny.
Atop of this there is a coalition of mages, humans who have learned to yield the power of magic. Tired of their oppression they have started working in the ways of the wicked craft to fight back against the mighty dragons. Most are deranged psychopaths, others just those out for revenge for perhaps a dragon (most likely those wicked Delabra clansmen) who killed their family. Yet the time it takes to be a fully mastered mage is a long path indeed. And thus, currently their numbers are small.
Finally a large problem affecting the continent of Livanthia is pirating. Trade is essential to those in the far east who's only route to the western side of the continent is by sea. No one's crazy enough to try and cross the Great divide unless they want to get spiked by the dagger like rocks, or fall from the steep slopes. Back to the problem of piracy. With such a rich economy of trade between the outer civilizations of the Livanthia continent there was no question that eventually piracy would erupt. A large concentration seems to be the island of Ramgod, located just south of the Masika clans capital city. Main clans that seem to be involved in piracy are mostly members of the Masika clan, MacCalister, and a few others from all other clans that want a bit of action.
So thus, welcome to Livanthia and all the wonders it holds.

Clans Southerland
Form: One of the largest Dragon breeds in Livanthia. Thickly muscled and equally scaled. Usually coloring involves deep red scales all the way up to slightly lighter hues. Some have been documented to have almost a rust color, close to dried blood. Large curving ones that fall away from the face in large arcs, Males can have as many as 6, females 4
Temperment: Even though they are some of the largest dragons they have the lowest population. Due to their hostile and ruddy behavior it is often hard to find a sweetly married couple procreating. Though extremely aggressive they are also an honorable race. If a Southerland does find a mate, it's for life.
Environment:They are centered in the middle of Livanthia on the great green moors, A lush country with rolling green hills. Usually the landscape is encased in a dome of fog and rain. The sun only peeks it's head out for a month or so a year. There is a smattering of wooded areas throughout the land. They have various human establishments on their land and live relatively peacefully with the humans.
Economy:Their main form of economic prosperity is trade and wool and livestock.
Based Civilization:The closest you could get to their civilization is a Scottish/ Celtic based theme.
Abilities: They are a flying, fire breathing breed.
Human Features: Hair: usually dark browns or auburns, known to have some black hair. eyes: amber, yellows, golds, deep browns Horns: Large curving ones that fall away from the face in large arcs, Males can have as many as 6, females 4Bainbridge Clan (Brown Clan)
Second largest of the dragon breeds. Also small in population due to their isolation and bad tempers. In human form they are rather large brutes. The men almost handome giants and the women towering amazons. They travel deep into the mountains of the "great divide" and are scattered in small villages throughout the southern mountain range. Their coloring is usually deep earths. Their body in dragon form is often covered in thick scales and horns. Their wings are usually tattered from fights and living in the rough enviorment. Their main staple is raw ore and other various metals. They don't like to interact with any of the other clans save for the red, their one alliance. They do not keep human slaves, finding it better to not bother with them at all. Closet example to their civilization is a russian/ american pioneer mountainous type people.
Hair: Dark browns, blacks Eyes: Golds, grays, browns horns: often resembling rams horns. Males can have 4 (two on either side of the head) and females 2 Lamport clan (Blue clan)
The largest population and almost the dominant one. Their dragon form is of medium build and they are able to fly, but they mainly enjoy swimming. They rule over much of the south western area. Their main homeland is the confederacy of islands. They are lithe yet muscular breed with sleek fish like features. Their army and mainly navy is great and they could be considered the most powerful dragon clan out there, if not for their aloof nature. They are very aristocratic and basically snooty. They make alliances with no one and find it better to keep to themselves. They do keep serfs and human slaves, but usually keep them in high style. Their main income is trade, their stables being sea products (fish, pearls, ex) and other various fine crafted things. Type of civilization could be comparred to the greeks or romans with a British societial twist.
hair: Whites, blues(pale to dark) Some purple Eyes: blues, silver, purple Horns: small, curving smooth horns. 4 for a male and maybe up to 2 for a female, though females grow smaller MacCalister (Green clan)
A wild type of group who's care free yet feral nature keeps them around. The smallest breed of dragons, closely resembling a large wolf type creature with an array of antlers for their horns. Though the smallest breed they also have the second largest population. Their clan type is based off of a gypsy type theme. Their main crop is produce, which let me tell you they have a pretty good green thumb. They are also very spirited people who love throwing partys and living on the run. This clan is split into the great north and south clan. They populate the dense forest that are located on either end of the continent. The south clan likes to keep hidden while the north clan is more open. They are currently at war with the orange clan, hopefully a treaty will be established soon. But beware if you wander into the forest, the green clan has been known as highway robbery men.
Hair: Reds, light browns, rich golds Eyes: Greens, brown Horns: More like antlers, can be different from dragon to dragon Delgado Clan (Orange clan)
Third largest and also a low populated clan. The orange clan basically carry bulk behind them with their huge behemouth forms. They are flightless jsut as the green clan is. They make their money off of stealing from the green clan, and from minning. They have also been known to have their hands in piracy. Their civilization is spanish based with a twist of italian. Their cities are based in teh far north west corner of the continent. The cities have actually been noted to be very beautiful with their cobble stone streets and charming wide spread homes. Yet dont be fooled, the orange clan can be very greedy. They do keep many human servants and slaves.
Hair: Usually very dark browns to black eyes: Browns, blacks, and sometimes golden orange Horns: Small horns resembling those of a goat, males can have up to six and females 4 to 2Delbra clan (Purple clan)
One clan that has been disputed to be a very vile and low clan. They live in the middle section of Livanthia and are based off of a french type civilization. They enjoy finerys but hate working for them. They are constantly scheming and trying to come up with ways to boost themselves forward in the social world. They have even tried to plan a few clan overthrows. The purple clan is very cunning and smart, so dont be fooled when one comes a sweet talking to your door. They are alligned with the yellow clan. They do enjoy keeping many human serfs and slaves.
Hair: Black Eyes: Purples, blacks Horns: Only a single pair of sleek dark horns
Yuan Tian Clan (Yellow clan)
A small breed of dragon and a small civilization. Based in the far north they are a group of hill nomads. They are very weak and small dragons, usually coming in a snake like form, closily resembeling the chinese dragon. They are aligned with the purple clan to help gain a foot up in life. They have a few human servants under their command. While known for their cowarding positions they are also known for their lovely ability in the arts. Tons of painters, weevers, and designers have emerged from the far north bringing their craft out with them. Their civilization is based off of ancient china along with the himilayian nomads.
Hair: Golden hues, blond (from dirty to white blond) Eyes: Golden, blue, light browns Horns: Think those of a chinese based dragonMasika clan (Gray clan)
Another nomadic race that is hardly called a clan due to their scattered race. They travel across the great desert of the east, a dry place of death. Yet they seem able to survive very easily. They live from camp to camp, save for a few solid towns in the north and the capital in the south. A large sprawling city that is only booming due to good trade. Their civilization is close to the egyptians with an arabian twist.
Hair: Dark browns, rich plums, black eyes: Silver, grays, rich browns Horns: Three horns in all, one jutting from the forhead and two curling around on either side to frame the face. OTHER: Human Mage Coalition Fabled undersea Race Two Outcast Dragoons: Pirates and Revolutionists

Role play Rules
1.) No godmoding!! This is one of the biggest taboos you could commit here. Seriously I hate all-powerful, all-knowing, all-royal pain in the a** type of people. 2.) No Mary SuesOnce again I don't really like that all too perfect character. Try and keep your character believable, and heck a few flaws isn't going to totally destroy your character. Flaws help make them more believable as a person. 3.) Don't be so serious. If your character and another persons character are having conflict in the actual rp, please don't take it seriously. It's called ROLE PLAYING for a reason. Sometimes conflict in the storyline can help move it along. It does not mean that that person is specifically just attacking YOU and being mean to YOU. They are simply having their character be mean to your character. icon_smile.gif 4.) Keep it pg-13Ok so I know there is going to be occasional cussing( I mean I even do it) But don't you go throwing the F word around like rice on a wedding. I don't want a case of Glengary Glen Ross on my hands. Oh, and also I don't need to know about your love life and going ons. If you're gonna be pulling out your wang please do so in PM. 5.) Don't Kill other peoples characters. So lets not fall into that horrible pit of "I hit you and now you are dead". If a persons character is really going to be killed off talk it out with them first and plan it. Don't just knock off their character without that persons consent. 6.) One profile per postWhen posting your profile IN PROFILE FORUM, or if more, keep it in one post. For example if you have one character, and you are soon to be adding another please just add on to the same post by editing. We don't want pages and pages of characters built up and people having to search through them all. 7.) Airi RULES!We are your gods! What we say in this RP goes! We have the right to kick people out, to add rules as we please, and to do whatever else tickles our fancy. This is our RP and we get to run it the way we want. Got a problem with that? Don't join. But don't stress either, we aren't monsters and we just want a well run rp. 8.) Mage RuleIf your a master Mage, capable of bringing down a full grown dragon blood they have to be fairly old, like over 40 because the time it takes to become a full mage is a LONG ROAD. If your characters younger they are an apprentice and can know a few spells. 9. Hafling RuleHaflings (human/dragon breed) Can have draconian features, ex: horns, discolored eyes and other such things. Yet they cannot grow to full dragon form. The halflings have increased strength, speed ex. Though they aren't nearly as powerful as full blooded dragons.

Current plot lineEvery five years there is what is known as a border festival. During this time all the clans come together and sell their finery, talk old friends, eat, drink, compete, and bascially have a grand old time. During these two weeks all grudges are to be canceled and there is to be not fighting (save for the competitions). This year the border festival is being held at the red clans land in the moors. The opening festivals are going to beging soon, welcome clans one and all!! The arena is being set up, here dragons of all races can come and fight one another in mock battle. Perhaps even a few humans will be present...

Aeolus stepped onto the green grass, his head tilted back as he took a deep breath of the frigid clear air. A sly smirk appeared across his dark features. The cloak he was wearing was still wrapped tightly around his neck and head. He tugged once, twice, three times before it finally came unraveled from his horns. He ran a quick clawed hand through his tangled mane before grinning like the devil himself. Two weeks! two whole weeks away from duties, and training, and his SISTERS! Glory be!! he was free to wander about this place, Not that he didn't already go where he pleased, but at least this time his father was letting him go. The rest of his family would be arriving later that week, of course all clan leaders had to attend, as was part of the rules. Yet for now, He was on his own.
His tail flicked eagerly as green gold flecked eyes scanned the crowed. His lips stretched back further as his teeth flashed a chesire cat grin. My, what lovely ladies had gathered from clans all over! This would be a very fun time indeed.

O-thuth trudged down the path to the Dragon grouping, this would be the perfect time for revenge. At the sound of a carriage, O-thuth dived into the ditch to the side of the road. Being on the Run was hard work. After the carriage had passed He got up shook the mud off of his cloak and continued down the road.

Selena stroked the strings of her instrument lightly, letting off a few wayward notes as she called out to her potential customers. "Beautiful fish scale brooches, pearl necklaces and various other wonders of the sea for sale! Very agreeable prices and no customer has ever been left unsatisfied with my wares!"
She brushed back a lock of silvery hair, watching the few beings who took a passing interest in what she had to offer, making sure none of the precious items were lifted without payment.

O-thuth made it to the meeting grounds. he was sure to stay in the shrubberies outside of the clearing. He would wait until nightfall to make his move.

Aeolus walked slowly through the growing crowd. A few tents were finally up yet more crumpled fabric and sticks lay across the grass valley. In the distance two Bainbridge breeds roared as they reared. Two giant beams pulled up from the ground. The bare skeleton of the arenas were taking form.
A sudden breeze whipped the air and three giant shadows tainted the ground. Aeolus's head whipped up for a moment to see a flock of Yuan Tian. The golden twinning dragons curled and slowly sunk. Two shrunk to human forms and started unloading goods from the third.
A sudden strum of notes hit Aeolus's sensitive ears causing them to twitch madly. His head snapped quickly to follow the curious noise.

The dragonness hummed quietly, periodically lifting her gaze from her harp strings to her merchandise. With a light sigh she cursed her misfortune, having not enticed a customer to her stand the entire day. "Perhaps if I dressed skimpier I would attract more attention." With a harsh pluck of a string Selena grumbled to herself. How could they resist her wares?! They were fine if not the finest of jewelry the Lamport had to offer.
The silver haired woman resisted the urge to frown, leaning her concentration back to her music.

Hearing a strange music O-thuth decided to risk detection, if he had one flaw it was curiosity (and a overactive sense of justice but he doesn't think so). He stabbed his spear into the ground and draped his cloak over it they would be safe hidden in the bush. O-thuth disgused himself by placing a false pair of spectacles on his face. he doubled back to the path. After waiting until nobody was in sight he entered the trail to the clearing.

Cerne emerged from the woods, appearing at first to be a stag with his might antlers looming over his head. He took a moment to gaze around at the steadily growing encampment that was the gathering. He immediately spotted the slave tents and decided to start to make his way through the stalls to see if any were in need of help.
"You approach with such confidence," A faint voice whispered as a slight gust blew through the tree trunks at the fringe of the field. Cernunnos turned his head to gaze back into the forest with a mild mannered smile. "At least for one who has not lived amongst dragon or man for so long."
"Have I something to fear," He asked as the gust died down. His smile broadened, as he was always happy to hear the occasional whisper from his guardian spirit. He turned his head back, and began to walk with measured strides through the merchant stalls before the sound of harp notes caught his ear. Though he had no talent in it he was a lover of all the arts, especially that of music, and with curiosity he walked in the direction of the sound.
