Ok, so big question here that idk if it can be answered:
Exactly what kind of deck is the best to use?
I'm kind of a newb at magic but I have friends who want me to face them so I need some tips lol.

Some people may ask, what is Magic the Gathering? Click here to find out.

In MTG, there really is NO "best deck" to use. Starter decks change constantly and new theme decks hit the shelves like every few months. The "best deck" a player should use should be one that relates to his/her color. There are amazing cards in every color, and sure mix things up if your deck is well-balanced, but personally, I tend to fight with single colors to the decks I know best.

In MTG there are five different mana colors:

White: The color of Justice (Plains)
Blue: The color of Wisdom (Islands)
Black: The color of Ambition (Swamps)
Red: The color of Chaos (Mountains)
Green: The color of Nature (Forests)

My color is :

I've actually been kicking myself lately because for awhile I was a heavy MTG player, but then I got into Yu-Gi-Oh! which was easier for me.

So I gave away my MTG cards and now I'm stuck with one booster and two theme decks.

So i went to the prerelease party for Alara Reborn, and let me tell you, the cards are so broken!

they cost too little for what they do, or they just completely obliterate the field. dont get me wrong, i love to win quickly, but that was absurd.

(If you want to see spoiler cards, they're listed on the wizards of the coast website. it's www.wizardsofthecoast.com)
