Mainly imported from CAA, there are a few changes.

1. Of course, read the rules!

2. You MUST be a member of the original CAA before participating in an RP here.

3. No cybering! This goes for all guilds--we'll LOSE our guild if y'all do anything like that. Though...I'm not sure why you'd do that here... eek

4. Be nice. Flame only when the person REALLY deserves it.

5. Try to keep things general. Don't start up an RP with the sole intention of pimping your character; include other people. If you want to RP for character development, PLEASE make this clear from the beginning.

6. At this time, no "script form" roleplay. If there is demand for it, there may eventually be a subforum for that sort of thing. But for the meantime, let's keep it in story form.

7. Emoticon use is to be kept to an absolute MINIMUM, and never in an RP thread. Use in OOC areas is fine, but please be aware of how many you're using.

8. No quoting in-RP. If we can't tell who you're replying to, you're not doing it right.

9. I ask that any OOC (out-of-character) posts made in the roleplays be written in white font with single or double parentheses around them.

10. This may be a new one for a lot of you, but to keep OOC banter down to a minimum, RPs should consist of TWO threads -- Example being "RP - Variable" and "RP - Control". The 'Variable' topic is the one in which RP'ing takes place. The 'Control' is for OOC talk, questions, etc.

11. When an RP is finished, please contact a mod requesting that the Variable and the Control threads be locked, thank you!

12. Font size must be "normal". Please, no large or small fonts. Keep the colors readable, too -- no aqua, yellow, or light pink!

13. Please, no "Looking for party" threads. Either make your own RP or wait for a new one to start.

14. Gather your cast in the 'control' before starting on the 'variable'. If you would like to jump in on an existing RP, PLEASE ask in the control first.
