Did anyone go to prom? I'm jus curious. I did, and it was okay. I had fun dancing. I was 3 rounds away from the next prize when the damn computer froze. NRRGG! and then it was game over! Oooh! I wish my computer was alive so I could kill it in the most brutal, bloody way possible.
I didn't have a date, and it was soo boring cuz I couldn't find anyone to talk to. But I did get a free hair bow, watch, and bowtie, though I really wanted a crown. *pouts*
So, overall, I guess prom was alright... stare
*glares at her computer*
computer: NYah! *sticks out tongue*
*holds out baseball bat with huge metal spikes* Oh, this is gonna be fuun~~!!
computer: *whimpers*
MWHAHAA!!!! *grins like Deidara and advances on computer*

Ohhhh. I thought you went to a RL prom. Because, I was thinking, "Why would Ten go to a prom if she's in college?"
I didn't go to prom. I don't have a boyfriend, a nice dress, and I didn't think Juniors could go.
I -might- go to my Senior prom. Hopefully, I'll have a boyfriend (who won't try to knock me up in a Motel 6 right after the dance), and some friends to go with if the whole boyfriend thing doesn't happen for me.

XD I also thought you meant a real prom. I went for like, two minutes, but then got confused and left.
I never went to prom. ^_^; I went to an anime convention instead. XD ← *ummm... geek*

...Sounds like something I'd do. But completely hide it from my dad and brother, since my dad would wonder why I'd want to go to a meeting about cartoons, and my brother would say I EPIC fail until the day I die. Not to mention, tell the story to my kids whenever my husband and I leave our kids with him while we take a romantic getaway somewhere.

I know, I know, geek. XD Part of me kind of regrets not going... but all the rest of me just giggles at the thought that my geek totally pwned the desire to attend prom just to say I did. XD;;; I don't mind geeking. ^^;

Had me going for a minute there...
I tried the prom thing for a minute, seemed kinda stale to me though so it didn't keep my attention for long.
I didn't go to prom in school, either. I don't like social gatherings, and I'm completely useless when it comes to..like....people. I'm so awkward, can't you tell? I'm pretty sure I worked during grad that year, anyway...
Does anyone else have an insane amount of trouble just talking to people out of the blue both in real life and online, and not feeling like a total idiot about it? That's not just me, right?

I'm usually moderately okay online, as I'm more comfortable writing, but-- oh, god, IRL-people are NOT my thing. Socializing is not my forte. Quite the opposite, in fact. T.T; I'm really awkward with people in any kind of interactive situation. I can sit in a class and not talk to anyone and be okay, but the moment I have to interact, I'm super awkward and uncertain. Or I try to seem normal and overcompensate and seem like an impatient, blunt know-it-all. ~_~;;;
In either case, socializing makes me start to hyperventilate after a little bit. ← *can't handle groups*

Sorry, I shoulda been more clear! Epic sorries for the confusion!
I didn't go to my RL prom, either. I spent the night with a bunch of my friends, drunk and high. ...lets just not go there...bad memories...)
I've been to 2 proms, though; in my freshman year I dated a senior, who took me to his prom, along with several other girls he was dating. stare Yeah, lets just say I was young, stupid, and SOOO not the best judge of guys...considering my current bf, I'm still not. Damn, that realization is depressing.
Second prom was my junior year, at the last minute. I went with my best friend's cousin because he was desperate to have a date, cuz all his friends had girlfriends and he didn't wanna go stag. And cuz my friend paid me twenty bucks to go with him.
Sanee, dun worry too much about getting a boyfriend. The vast majority of guys are all idiots and jerks. Which is why anime boys are soo much better. Nyah...I"m gonna shuddup 'fore I start ranting...
SN: Actually, I'd prefer an anime convention over prom anyday! And there's nothing wrong with being nerdy...specially over anime! ^O^
Takeshi: Yeah, I kinda have trouble talking to people. I'm not shy- I'll talk to just about anyone- but I always end up making a total idiot out of myself. I just...epic fail..at being suave and cool and sociable.

I have exactly the same problem with socializing as both of you two do. Sometimes, I'm not too shy and will talk to anyone that doesn't outright hate me or creep me out, but I end up souding really awkard, just like Ten.
Other times, I stutter even worse than Hinata. sweatdrop
Since we were talking about anime conventions, wouldn't it be awesome if we could all go to a convention together sometimes? Trouble is, Takeshi lives in Canada, eh. Youko lives in Connecticut, SN lives in Oregon, I live in California, and....where do you live again, Ten? sweatdrop

That would be soo cool if we could all meet up at a convention! I live in Pennsylvania (the most boring state on the planet...I wanna live somewhere cool, like Hawaii or Florida. Though, guess I should say I wanna live somwhere 'hot' haha...). I'll go to local conventions, but my budget doesn't permit long-distance/ air traveling. How depressing. emo
I'm awkward around peops cuz, well, I can think of things to say, but I tend to be completely random and will blurt out whatever pops into my head. Sometimes this can be good and I'll have moments where I'm cool/ amusing, but most of the time people wonder what drugs I'm on. T.T
Ooh, I know. Lets all go visit ShikaNeji when she's in Japan! (Hehe, j/k! But what a great place to meet up!)

O_o;;; I have a ShikaNeji fangirl friend who lives in Pennsylvania!!
I'd HATE living in Hawaii or Florida. xD;;; GAH. I'm such a PNW girl. I hate heat and humidity.
There are too many factors into why I'm awkward around people, and too many ways it gets expressed. ^^; So I won't go there.
I could totally see going to a convention in Canada, maybe California... but not New Hampshire. xD; Or over in that general area. Too far. ~_~ Actually, I almost did go to Canada once. ^^; I had a couple of online friends who lived up there. And Cali has YAOI-CON! *o*
xD; Come visit me if you have the funds! Because, pffft, I sure as hell don't. I just got a scholarship, though, so that takes care of... almost a quarter of the cost. xD

The only thing I dun like about tropical places is the bugs are HUGE. And bugs, me no likey. Especially spiders. *shudders* Except for tarantuals. I like them, cuz I think they're cute. And albino pythons. Actually, two of my favorite animals are hairless cats (I want one, and I'll name it Mr. Fluffy) and albino pythons, especially if they have 2 heads.
Cali would be okay, but that's too far for me to travel. Yaoi-con rocks, wish I could go sometime! Maybe, if I ever finish school and get a decent paying job. Or win the lottery. Canada is cool- I've been to Niagra Falls.

I hate spiders, too. T.T;;; I'm okay with bugs to some degree, but spiders just freak me the hell out. Speaking of two-headed critters, have you seen Lali Singh? The two-faced baby born in India? I REALLY wonder what speech will be like when she's older...!
xD The directors of Yaoi-Con go to Sakura-Con, and they eventually recognized me year after year. They were always like, "You need to come down to Yaoi-con!!" "I will, someday!!" ^^;

I'm okay with some spiders...I just kill 'em. Squish! Cuz I don't like 'em. I haven't seen that baby..sounds freaky. Yeah, I wonder what speech will be like. Is she like a siamese twin or something? Hmm...I wonder how her eating will work out...
That's cool the directors recognize you! I've never had the pleasure of going to a convention, cuz no one will ever go with me. and even if I did talk any of my friends into going, they still wouldn't let me dress up. T.T

I can't kill 'em. xD I can't touch them. ^^; I just freak out. If they're dead, they scare me more. xD
Basically a Siamese twin, yeah... but obviously even closer, since it's one brain and just two faces. ^^; When such close connections have happened in the past, the kid's always died. There was a two-faced kitten born sometime recently-ish that only lived, like, a few days.
O.o; Dude, dressing up is half the fun! xD You could always go alone. ^^; Although then hotels and such are expensive...
