This is a path made in a small clearing, leading directly into the River country.

Etsuko made his way silently, except for the sound of the beel on his hat, up the trail into Fire Country territory. He knew, as most did, that if he entered Konohagakure, he would be arrested and probably killed. If not by fire Country, by Mist Country. Etsuko could only imagine what turning him over to Mist officials could mean for Konoha, since they were opposing factions in the war. This thought brought a faint smile to his face and quickly dissappeared as he rounded a bend. It was almost a little too quiet, and it made Etsuko a little uneasy. He hadn't heard any news lately from outside sources, so he had no idea of what was currently going on in the world, which made matters worse. He would have to be on his guard, especially since he was ambushed leaving Akatsuki City, but Grass is a weak nation, so taking them down was an easy task.

Etsuko managed to travel the river trail in peace to its end. The trail forked at the end, one path leading into the depths of Fire Country, and the other leading north into Sound Country. Etsuko stood silent for a moment, the bell on his hat ringing in the breeze, before taking the path that would lead into Sound Country.
