 Liberty groaned as he streched...mmmmm mornings,bleh on the lot of them! Pink eyes blinked blearily about then snapped open wide. Oh yeah! He hadn't seen uncie Spike since he had grown up some. A devilish smile crossed the end of his muzzle.
Slowly, and oh so carefully, he slipped away from the herd. He knew Nene saw him go but long as pops didn't wake up it was all ok. As soon as he was out of sight of the teepee he squealed happily and took off running towards the last place he had seen his gurdian and adopted uncle.
"UNCIE SPIKE!!"

The unicorn had finally just been able to fall asleep, now that the darkness had passed, his eyelids hung heavy.
Hislongleather duster shielded him from the slight wind that was blowing the treetops.
His lion-like tail was flicking back and forth, even though his eyes were closed..
It was almost as if he was ready for anything.

Liberty grinned impishly as he slowed down. There he was....now to get him. Slowly and quietly, just as Spike had taught him, he slowly crept up on the 'napping' stallion. Quick as lighting his snaked his head out and jerked the end of his duster before darting back, he knew the power in those long legs.
His pink eyes were dancing with laughter as he pranced "Hellow Uncie Spike! I got you!!" Gone was the little midgit that could simply walk under Spike's belly and barely reached his knees. Gone was the gapped toothed, stubby tailed, gawky colt and in his place was a prancing, cocky young stallion.

Spike lifted an eyelid as he heard the young one speak,and when he did, he jerked his head up.
What had happened to the cuteness of the colt?!Now he was like all other stallions,only Spike still liked the pink Tyke.
"PINKY."
He gasped,jaw dropping.
"I demand to know what happened to you!..Well..Right now."
He ssaid.

Liberty laughed as he tossed his head grinning " Well see Uncie Spike there is this strange thing that happens to foals. It's a scarey and amazing process brought about by fairies and yellow flowers." He made his eyes wide and innocent " it's called growing up...oooooo scarey."
Oh yes he was definatly a brat, but then again he was Nene and Spike's kid more than he had been Pendence and Hug's. His grin was cocky but happy as he pranced over to his Uncle's shoulder. " But boy Uncie Spike, you shoulda seen that fairy she was something else."

Spike could not believe his ocean blue eyes, even though it was clear and in front of his face.
"You cannot be Liberty...Liberty was a cute thing."
He said, flicking his Lion tail and raising an eyebrow.
"Don't get Cocky, little Bit. Ill make your guts for garters."
He mused, a grin plastered on his face.

Liberty laughed happily tossing his head, " Yeah right Uncie Spike. I'm your little monkey and we both know it." He grinned happily at his adopted uncle, who is more wants than one was his father.
"And I am still cute, just ask the ladies." He laughed again grinning at him impishly.
