This is another fine example of movies MST3k finds where the title has nothing to do with the actual movie itself. His name's not Colossus, he doesn't do much versing of anybody, and there's definitely not much headhunting. It's terrible, it's full of shirtless men in mini skirts and manties, but the crew are spot on in this one, and totally rip it up.

In addition to being one of the "misleading" titles, it is also a large part of the Sandal and Sorcery, or greek quasi-historical fantasy, from which the actual history and sorcery are sometimes absent.

Yar. I'm more perturbed by the lack of dragons, gods, giants, enchanters, and similar supernatural beings. Once you take them out you just have wooden acting and greasy guys in togas.
