I don't remember the glitch--or the fact of there being a glitch?--but the game doesn't seem that old. Maybe it's because I played it for the first time on a computer screen after the original games had already gone out of style...
Or maybe our sense of time is relative to our age. So, then, from my perspective, something that happened within a time frame of roughly 25% as long as I have lived could be "recent".
So by December 21, 2012, I would only have gotten to know the people here a little while ago, and maybe regret that we couldn't have done more before the point of absolute novelty.

As far as I remember, that glitch was only in Red and Blue. Yellow wasn't exposed witht hat glitch, unfortunately.
