Hey guys! I always take like few months off Gaia and then come back here. So, I haven't really been posting here as much. But I've decided to come post more often and help make this thread more alive! Anyways, I'm tired and I feel like I'm babblin'.
Here are some recent pictures I took:
User Image
This is Polo! He's a pit mix of different types of...pitbulls. He's my brother's. I'm house breaking him. smile

My little sister.

User Image
My friends Hans and Candie after we got so lost in Brooklyn. ahaha

I would love to hear what you guys have to say. smile

They all have this sort of vintage feel to them. I like it. My favorite is the clown though. 3nodding Good job.

Edit: The dark frame around the last set is a little too harsh - I'd bring the opacity down.

The first photo doesn't do much for me. I find myself wishing it was a bit more engaging, but as it stands it just doesn't strike me well. Not to mention the dog looks kind of bored. Dog's are usually pretty bad models razz ( he IS cute though! :] )

I'll have to concur here that my second is my favourite, no question. The color is great, the facial expression and mood is amazing, and the chipped, contrasty make-up does a lot for the image. Great work.

The third is interesting in a sort of lomographicdocumentarian sense, but really it doesn't do much for me, either. The composition in my opinion could be a bit better, the shadows and vignetting around the edges (esp. the bottom) are kind of harsh, and the color tone, while interesting, doesn't really MAKE the image, if you know what I mean. It just feels kind of... superfluous.

overall very nice work in general, though biggrin

Thank you. smile

When the third one was taken, it was pretty darn dark in the room because there was this show going on. So when I took them the vignetting came out that way. So I did not edit to make it even harsher. And I wasn't trying to "make the image" with color tone. That's something I don't try to do at all. I was making the image with their cute lovey dovey affection. And there wasn't really much done to the color either. It was pretty colorful in there.
