Yeah this should be in the entertainment thread, but I had to ask...
WHAT WAS WITH THE SEASON FINALES THIS SEASON?????
Dean's dead, Lana left Clark and Kara's in the phantom zone, the director of NCIS is dead and the team has been broken up, did I miss anything???
I know that something will come of these, but still there are times that season finales can be very annoying!!!!!!

What about Warrick being shot at the end of CSI?!!!!! That was so totally unsuspected!!! I did hear that the actor was caught with illegal drugs in his possession so that would give them a reason to write off his character!! Still! Talk about hanging in suspense! Maybe with the writers strike they did drastic things spur of the moment. Sheesh! Maybe some are tired of their parts and want to move on....who knows!! I am saddened that the Season Finale of Moonlight ended up as a finale in that the show was canceled... sad Hopefully another station will pick it up and continue...

Yeah, I cried at the end of that one...but inside I was screaming..."yes, finally!!!" rofl rofl I was also sad to hear about the show's cancellation, that sucks.
Yeah, I did miss CSI's ending. Geez, how many more people are they going to ditch from shows?????
Oh and I didn't even mention that Clark and Lex are buried under the rubble from the Fortress.
WHAT'S THIS WORLD COMING TO???????

Ya know, this is starting to sound like some soaps I used to watch way back when...namely, Dark Shadows, where on Fridays they would leave you with a super cliff hanger and you HAD to watch on Monday to see what happened....only now we have to wait MONTHS instead of days to see what the heck is going on!!

I don't watch the shows mentioned above, but so far, I've liked all the finales of the shows I watch: CSI:NY, Reaper, House (very sad), My Name Is Earl, 30 Rock, some others . . .
But I'm really lookin forward to next week's finale of my favorite show of all, LOST.

Not necessarily...they announced that Moonlight was a season finale on television then later in news reports on line it was listed as one of the shows that had been cancelled... sad But I don't think your shows have been canceled...sometimes when a show is struggling a bit for ratings the producers will do drastic things to the story lines to boost viewership...

Well, it's good to hear that CSI Miami was renewed for another season, but how are they going to pull that off with no Caine??????
Maybe he's just pretending to be down so he can see who shot him???? IDK but it's frustrating.
I suppose sometimes drastic measures are taken to boost ratings for shows, though I don't think this one needed it. scream

Rather than let you be frustrated all summer, I looked it up: the following is from the wikipedia page on the episode Going BallisticNear the end of the episode, Horatio Caine is shot and presumed dead. Ryan receives a text message saying, "It is done," leading us to believe he was involved. All indications (including the sudden page to Ryan while he's interviewing a suspect) point towards Caine and Wolfe staging Horatio's death so that he may more easily pursue one of his greatest rivals [Ron Saris]. This is confirmed in CBS's behind the scenes video where David Caruso says "Horatio designed a staging of an event that will free him up to go after this man with a different license."
