"Mmmm..." Hummed Estelle as she munched on a crisp green apple. She stood close to the tree that had been sprouting the delicious fruit, but kept awa from the shade it offered. The sun was high up in the sky and beat down nicely on the ground below. It would be a waste to hide from it, he mare thought as she relished the warmth against her coat. The taste in her mouth was tart, as the apples weren't completely ripe yet, but it was much preffered. Red apples were sweet and though the flavor was nice once in a while...
It got quite boring really fast.
Swallowing, her purple eyes quickly surveyed the clearing. She could compare a red apple's taste to the clearing. Very nice at first, but tedious and boring after a while. The small smile on her face never slackened, however. Unlike an apple, this was a clearing, and clearings were frequented, were they not? If she had reason to believe she would not come upon anything interesting, she wouldn't of come. It was all a matter of waiting.
