Tae stared out upon the water, it was late evening and the last of the dying sun light licked the waters surface. She always felt at peace around water, it was unexplainable. She had sat pondering for a long time now and had come to the conclusion it was time to move on. She was tired of hunting by herself and the strain her body took because of it, she was only getting older and no matter how fit she was, age always dominated. She also, of late, had begun to long the company of others and thus she had decided it was time to leave these more remote areas and travel back into lands she knew where more populated.

She rose slowly and took one last longing look at the water and denied herself the pleasure of a quick swim and turned on the gravel shore and slowly made her way back to the tree line. She had eaten well two days ago and knew the meal could sustain her for another few days yet, so hunting was not the highest priority on her mind, like it usually was. She raised her head to catch any scents on the air but there seemed to be nothing about to worry her and as she reached the trees she picked up her pace a little.
