Congrats on first post! mrgreen Hehe. Ahhh, Cali. Do you like it there? I live as far away as you possibly can while still being in the U.S. D: I've always wanted to visit though.

It's nice around here. I'll admit, if your used to the countryside, it will take time to get used to the scenery. The area I live does have some amount of smog in the air, but only enough to affect overly sensitive people. I'm in a lucky spot right now. It takes me and hour and a half to LA and 2 hours and a half to the nearest beach. I've only been to the center of LA once or twice. I usually see East L.A. because my dad lives there. I wouldn't imagine what other state I would want to live in, well besides New York(even though I'd freeze like hell over there). How's it like in Maine? I'd imagine it's cold. lol

Insanely. rofl But it really makes you appreciate the warm days we get in summer. It can get up to 90 [which I can only assume we have global warming to thank for rolleyes ] Winter lasts for about 6 months though. D: It's crazy. It sounds really nice where you live biggrin I don't think I'd mind the smog too much.

Sometimes the weather can be pretty chaotic here as well. Just a week ago we had a heat wave and now we're having thunderstorms and rain.
I think I can stand heat more than I can stand chilliness. I kinda 50/50 with the global warming thing. Yes, I believe that it exists, just like global chilling.(We had Ice Ages, right?) But as for human blame, I say that's only one of the many factors that are affecting it.

Ahh, I hate thunderstorms D: There was a year we got a ton of those here. It was really dry and hot and we got lightning storms almost every night.
My dad watched a thing on the history channel about it, about how it's happened before. You're right, humans are probably only one part of the problem.

Lucky, It's actually more like "rainstorms with thunder" rather than "thunderstorms", so it's less humid. I remember a lightning storm when we went to Las Vegas for vacation. It was pretty cool and scary seeing all the lightning bolts.
