Long ago, magic existed through everything. Humans came to be as technology was discovered and put to use. The more technology began to reign, the thinner the veil between magic and reality became. The first human was born as a fluke, the first being born without any magical essence. That creature mated and produced heirs. Some of his children were as he, without magic and some were. His children procreated and so on until magical creatures and humans lived side by side.
Gradually, those without grew jealous of those who could tame the ether. Small disputes served as a warning for the bigger battle that lay about to burst open. All too soon, war broke out amongst the creatures. Those that could chose to slip the veil, taking shelter in the realm of pure ether they came from and thus, humans took over the world.
Jump ahead 2000 years to modern day

Possibly slumbering inside of you, inside of me, inside of every creature in existence lies a a thin core of magical energy. You probably aren't aware of this. And if you're Wiccan, don't think you're automatically in touch with this core. And if you're not, don't think you can't find it within you. You see, the veil is weak, almost frayed beyond repair. Magic still exists in the world but at only at a fraction of it's original strength. Though now magic no longer connects all creatures. Sadly, magic no longer resides inside of everyone.

Slowly the tables are turning. Magic is being brought back into the world as part of the same fluke that created humanity. More and more people are awakening to the old ways and desiring thier perfect world back. The war will begin and the only question is: What side will you be on?

I need human and magic users both. This will not work without both sides. Magic users may not use technology (weapons and such) and humans may not use magic at any time.

Main Characters-Mage

Amanda Torbin- age 13. She's a shy little girl with tremendous strength in Fire that she doesn't use simply because more often than not it's a natural reaction to a scary situation and it's scares her. She's not sure what to think of her powers and didn't know she had them until a year ago when her parents were killed.

Emily Duran- age 12. Emily came to the manor a year ago. She's a natural at the Earth element but lacks control simply due to her age. She also upon occasion, has prophetic dreams. She's sweet, mild mannered, and terminally cute.

Sarah Montrose- age 16. Sarah is works with air, has decent control for her age. She lost her parents when she was 2 and came to the manor a month ago to escape from her foster family who found out about her powers. They were human. She’s sweet and pretty. She has a jealous streak and can be shallow sometimes but she means well.

Jeremy Moore- age 13. Twin brother Caleb. Jeremy is an impetuous youth, a Fire user by nature. He's quick tempered at times, has little control over his gift. He changes his mind frequently, is irresponsible and wants just to kill the enemy and play (though the former is highly dangerous, he still tries.) He's a boyishly cute boy with chocolate hair and soft amber eyes.

Caleb Moore- age 13. Twin brother Jeremy. Caleb is a Water elemental, the opposite of his brother. He's shy, thoughtful, calm and obedient. He wants desperately to please everyone and make enemies of no one. He's a boyishly cute boy with chocolate hair and soft amber eyes.

John Philips-Age:45. Butler to Angelina Barragan. Lives in RavenCrest Manor, a shelter to orphaned magic users. Personality depends on the player but Philips (as he's called by all the household) has an almost fatherly affection for Angelina, having been best friends with her deceased parents. Fluent in both Spanish and English, having learned the former from Angelina's father, his deceased best friend.

Andrew Makalay- age 17. Only a year younger then Angelina herself, Andrew came to the estate only months ago. He is quick to voice his opinion and has the least amount of control over his element (Earth) He is ruggedly handsome, classically American.

Isabella Bussotti- age 15. Isabella is shy, reserved, does not know how to control her gift of magic. She is especially gifted with water craft but does not practice often outside of RavenCrest Manor for fear of the magical energy being tracked by the humans. Isabella is a charmer with her Italian good looks

Lysette Bordeaux- age 14. Angelina's adopted sister (her deceased sister Megan was Angelina's best friend) The first to take shelter in the Manor, Lysette has been trained by Philips and Angelina for the 3 years she's been in RavenCrest. She has the most control of her gifts and flourishes under the element of Air. (Lysette is classically French)

Kelsey Lightly- Age 18. She's young in her powers but terribly mature and motherly to the other orphans. She helps Philips run the house and see to the little ones even though she has only been in the Manor for a few months. She's a classic Irish girl with freckled skin, red hair and green eyes.

Samuel (Sammy) Dylan- age 17. He's a wanna be rock star who uses what little Air control he has to heighten his singing. He knows very little about his powers past what helps his career. He's outgoing, rebellious, and classically handsome.

Characters Needed-Human

Consulate Adams-Age 43 The head of the human consulate, he is in charge of tracking ether readings and pursuing them to eliminate magic users. He often does not engage in battle himself but is always behind the orchestration of the assassinations.

Sol Finnegan- Age 16. An innocent, Sol has no bias against magic and knows nothing of the dark heart of matters behind the disappearance of his classmates and sometimes of friends.

Tasha Lane- age 35. Tasha is the foster mother of Sarah. Tasha loves Sarah and visits the manor in secret at times to see her. She’s kind. She isn’t comfortable with magic but she knows it is a part of a being and not the whole of them. She’s plump, kindly, and pretty in her own right.

Gunter Weiss- Age 23. The classic bounty hunter, Gunter is in the business of magical assassination for the money and fame. he's tough, independent, and answers only to the consulate himself.

Lucien Adams- Age 18. Consulate Adams son, he was raised with a passionate hatred of all things magic. He burns inside to be able to eliminate them all and yet, a part of him wonders what special talent these creatures possess that he does not have.

Elizabeth Montgomery- Age 20. Elizabeth is Consulate Adam's secretary. She hates magic users because she thinks they made her house burn down with her family inside. She's tall, fair, long black hair and grey eyes.

Tobey Simpson- Age 16. He teeters on the brink of the war. Striding the gray line between magic and reality, he thinks both sides are wrong and is completely neutral. Who knows how long that can last?
