That cute little brow furrowed a bit at the words sent back to her from this new elf male. As her footsteps moved slowly and quietly along the beach she smiled. It was a troubled smile but a smile all the same. She had so many questions and so few answers. And so she lock-sent softly back to the male **Who are you? Tell me about your tribe. If you want to that is. You know if you're near by you could come out. Nobody will hurt you. I swear Fire Bright won't eat you either.** Her send was much lighter and happier this time. A curiosity filled it that was only a thirst to learn all she could from whoever would teach her. She had already seen more things then either of her parents and many of her tribe had even seen. A glider, a wolf rider and who knew how many other countless kinds of tribes existed. The young heart lifted as she thought about storied around a fire that might be told of far off places and exotic elves. Stories of great beasts and close calls in battle. A slight arm movement gave the great cat the ok to leave her side and play about in the water or whatever he like at the moment. Dancer was ready she thought. Ready for the many new adventures, friends and enemies she was going to make.

**If you have the energy to get curious then you can fill.. Fire Bright the cat?..well, you could fill their belly first** Their was only a mild rebuke in the Sending. **For while I've hunted for my tribemates I never did so alone. Even Eltiln hleped from his pool.**

Then their was a preoccupied silence.

She sighed softly to herself. I suppose she could try harder to find some thing to feed the great cat. At the moment pray was still hard to find. She watched as Fire Bright pawed fish from little pools long the rocks. She would love to hunt something bigger but at the moment she would stay close to camp. After waiting a few moments she sent back ** Tell me your name. So I at least can call you by it.** The send was filled with a longing and a slight touch of wounded ness. She thought she was doing her best but maybe that wasn't good enough. Is surely wasn't good enough for Fire Bright and so not good enough for her. He was right. She needed to buck up and snap out of it. Now she was getting determined. Going back to the large pool her and Savith were once at Dancer found the make shift spear. If it took all day and night she would hunt whatever she could till her friends belly was full. She sent once more time to the voice in her head **Thank you my friend. If there is any help you can offer in my hunt I would be happy to hear it nd by the way, I'm called Dancer** The send was grateful and gentle. As one of her parents might have said the same thing to her to pull her out of the darkness in her mind.

**Crosscurrent** he Sent back.

**As for helping hunt, I intend to. The Vast Deep should still be well enough to fill my nets or spear. For your cat alone I would need more then the pools could give willingly.** The impulse had turned to a need to see the great waters again. He had not seen it save for two long days when he'd sought to see if it would be better to hunt there or the pools before returning to Eltiln's side.

Her smile was bright as she nosed about the pools. Most were shallow but now and then something was found. Knowing the strangers name now made her feel that much more at ease. The soft send touched him back. **Crosscurrent?** The questioning sound was more a wonder of how he got that name then to the name itself. She was joyful to know the new elf and looked forward to meeting him when he felt at ease enough to do so. **You will help me feed Fire Bright and the others? They will be so grateful for your help.** This send was like wash of relief from the young elf's mind. The after feelings were a mix of gratitude and admiration for this males kindness. The cat had tried to kill him and yet Crosscurrent held no ill will to the beast. **Crosscurrent, will my eyes get to joyfully see you soon? Are you with others? Can we do anything to help you at all?** She grumbled just a bit at not offering him help sooner. Sticking the spear in a pool she yanked out a squishy thing. It had many legs that twisted and wriggled about. Fire Bright sniffed at it then pulled away. She poked at it with a finger and it spewed out black muck. Little legs twisted around her finger and stuck or pulled off. Dancer chuckled softly to herself scraping the creature from her spear... Those deep blues looked over the great and deep waters. She wondered how her new friend would get much out of it with a spear. A net maybe but spear would do no better then she did. Still she trusted him. She had no reason as of yet not to.

**Aren't you full of questions! I'd name you Rapidchange were it my choice.** A definite sense of laughter with the mixed impression of a wide-eyed look of astonished awe.

**As for the food, such is where my skills have always gone. Even for a busybody Glider.. And the thought of a large predator hungry so near makes me nervous. As for my company, young huntress, he left more then a hand of days ago. We slept in the pool where the branches I wove together now lies across.**

There was an 'frown' as Crosscurrent added, **And Fire Bright better not go in it. I left things as I'd wished for now.**

She couldn't help but laugh softly at his comment. Yes she chattered like the many animals that ran about the treetops back in her thick lush forest home. She would take care not to bother anything he had set in place at the pools. She glanced in the direction of the falls and could just make out movement. This day wasn't going to end so badly after all. She wondered if she should go back or stay out here walking till she found Crosscurrent. Dancer didn't want to leave her new friend but knew he was well able to care for himself. **You slept in the water?** Her send filled with questions unspoken. A new elf breed? It amazed her to find out how many their really were. Wolves, birds and now fish? It was funny how one can think they know so much till the great grand scope of things is really set before them. Dancer really did feel like a child as she learned so much in just a day or two. It mixed in her heart how happy her Father might have been to take on a grand journey to meet new elf tribes had he not had responsibility's already. Thus he had to be and was content to instill that joy of finding out in his only lovely little flower. For better or worse Dancer would look at the cataclysm in the sky as the worst and yet greatest day of her life. **I can't wait to put a face to the name my new friend.** The send was tender and loving. Not the love of a man and a woman but the love of family and true friends. For those are who she thought of as she spoke now to Crosscurrent. **Take care alone out there. I wish not to lose another friend.**

A slight thaw to the unhappy overtune. **With the very moons so strange one can only try. But ease your heart a little. I am as skilled as any besides my Chief and mentor.**

A pause. Then a 'shy sly grin' mentally.

**As for sleeping, friend of large cats, should I sleep in a tree?**

The face on Dancer smiled as she spoke to Starsong. A stray chuckle escaped her lips. Looking back to the pool she stood next to she tried to spear a small fish again. This time she got it. Handing it off to Fire Bright the cat settled down a moment to eat it as he lie next to his companion. She smiled lightly at him as the bony meal was crunched on. Her send now was only for Crosscurrent. It took concentration for a heartbeat but she kept an eye on the water to look busy. **I know you will do your best. We are all trying. It seems two more elves were found this day as well. One called a Goback...** The words were odd to her. She knew what go back meant but a tribe called Goback was odd to her. **Another is a Sun Villager as I am told. I will go to meet them if I think Fire Bright will be good unless you want me to help you somehow with something. As for sleeping, if you sleep in water you will drown and this kind of cat is not very good at trees.** The send was lighthearted but still full of concern for his safety. Her send fluttered with the anxiousness of a child waiting for a gift they knew was coming. She couldn't wait to meet him.

**If you wish to help come toward the Vast Deep. That might save me having to bring it to Fire Bright.**

Making her way to the sandy shore she felt good. It seemed that elves were popping up all over. Stepping into the surf cool waters covered her feet. Stripping to take a swim Dancer set the makeshift spear with her meager things on a little pile of rocks. The warm sun felt good on tanned skin. Long midnight hair flowed down the slender back as quiet steps took her into the water a bit more. The large cat made his way next to her, enjoying the water as tigers do she smiled and splashed at him before moving out a little deeper. Fire Bright followed and Dancer enjoyed a moment of play with him as she waited for Crosscurrent. The inviting sun seemed never to have changed and she was thankful for that. If destroying a moon did this then what would happen should it have been the life giving sun.? Now and then she would take a dive under the water to see fish and plants. It was amazing all the life left seemingly untouched. **I am here my friend** Her mind reaching out to Crosscurrent. Her stealthy body moving about with ease as she waited.

ooc: we can play at WESTERN SHORE -> BEACH

I know a little will be RPed in the Vast Deep, but since your tiger is on the shore and we'll likely be going back and forth between land and water... lets just stay in one topic area.
