Her smile was bright as she nosed about the pools. Most were shallow but now and then something was found. Knowing the strangers name now made her feel that much more at ease. The soft send touched him back.
**Crosscurrent?** The questioning sound was more a wonder of how he got that name then to the name itself. She was joyful to know the new elf and looked forward to meeting him when he felt at ease enough to do so.
**You will help me feed Fire Bright and the others? They will be so grateful for your help.** This send was like wash of relief from the young elf's mind. The after feelings were a mix of gratitude and admiration for this males kindness. The cat had tried to kill him and yet Crosscurrent held no ill will to the beast.
**Crosscurrent, will my eyes get to joyfully see you soon? Are you with others? Can we do anything to help you at all?** She grumbled just a bit at not offering him help sooner. Sticking the spear in a pool she yanked out a squishy thing. It had many legs that twisted and wriggled about. Fire Bright sniffed at it then pulled away. She poked at it with a finger and it spewed out black muck. Little legs twisted around her finger and stuck or pulled off. Dancer chuckled softly to herself scraping the creature from her spear... Those deep blues looked over the great and deep waters. She wondered how her new friend would get much out of it with a spear. A net maybe but spear would do no better then she did. Still she trusted him. She had no reason as of yet not to.
