I'm finally getting some basic bloomers comissioned. but I am really confused on length. I don't want them to peek out or show from under my skirt. I read on egl that ones like that are sopost to be mid theigh. So that would mean that they are shorter than the petticoat, right? Please don't make fun of me for asking this. redface But how long is mid theigh? should I just use the measurement of half of my petticoat length? the length of the petticoats I own are between 14 and 14 1/2".

If you want them to peek out, then they should be about the length of your skirt, maybe an inch shorter, and your skirt should definitely not be mid-thigh, they should both be knee-length.

Oh, I thought you said you did, sorry! Read it wrong. Mid thigh would be right in between your knees and hips.
