The Tokyo of today. The city has excelled in technology far beyond the other cities of the world. Neo Tokyo is also a hot spot for many mafia related acts, the city is also under heavy surveillance by Aku robots. Aliens, bounty hunters, and robots are plentiful, and always ready for a fight. Above all this stands Aku, which is evident as the shape of most buildings in urban settings resemble the shape of his head.

A young man stood at the edge of the city, watching as the many lights flickered throughout town. He was leaving this cursed city full of robot minions. "This is good-bye." he spoke aloud, and turned towards the opposite direction of the city. His actions were stopped short when two Aku robots confronted him.
"Stop. You are not allowed to leave the premises." one of the robots spoke, and raised it's hand in halt.
The man didn't respond to the robot, and instead drew his katana. He carefully gripped both his hands on the hilt of the sword, and dashed at the two robots. His speed was immense, and he was only seen in a blur. The young man quickly slashed the first robot in half, and spun around to do the same to the second bot. The battle was over in an instant. The sound of explosions would soon lure other Aku bots to check out the area, and that was enough reason for the samurai to leave. "I pray you are with me, Athena..." he spoke under his breath as he sheathed his katana. Destroying the bots immediately made the samurai a target now.

A silent man sat quietly in the corner of a hectic bar his face covered by a large woven Jingasa, loud music was playing and voluptuous women where dancing in cylinders men and women of all different species where talking and gambling. The man tuned out the noise and quietly sipped his drink. After a couple minutes he called the bartender over. “Can I get a strawberry Sundae please?” he asked keeping his face hidden. The multi handed server gave a weird look then shrugged and left to get the man his Sundae. The man continued to sip his tea until his sundae arrived. Just as the man was about to enjoy his frozen treat it was knocked to the ground.
“What kind of man are you this an’t no place for kids beat it ya sissy.” A muscular green skinned alien laughed to women hung off his left arm; he pulled his right arm back and threw a punch at the man. The silent man easily caught the aliens arm well before it came close to his face.
The man turned his head slightly and looked the alien in the eyes “I hope you got some money because you’re buying me another sundae.” He spoke calmly still sipping his tea.
The alien snorted, “I an’t paying for s**t!” he pushed the girls aside pulled his fist back and then went in for another hit.
“Big mistake.” Just as the punch got close the man grabbed the fist and redirected the strength of the attack, he tossed the alien into the wall. “Want more?” The man stood up his katana visible his left hand resting on the handle.

Two cloaked figures walked together through the streets of Neo-Tokyo's Market District. Their features were hidden deep in their hoods, but one spoke with a distinctly feminine voice and the other with a brassy male voice. They strolled leisurely around the shops, not drawing much attention to themselves except to barter over building materials, tools, or food.
"How much for five of these?" The male cloaked figure asked, indicating a tank of medium sized many-finned fish. "Mmm.." The fishmonger, himself resembling a scaly guppy, pondered for a moment before deciding on a price. "Fifty." It said in its watery voice. "No less." The cloaked figures knew they were being ripped off. Ten of the plainly-colored fishes would cost that much, perhaps less. They figured it would be best to not accuse the shopkeep of price gouging, lest the Aku bots be called. "Fine. Fifty it is." He said, digging in a hidden pouch to pay for the food. While the transaction occurred the second cloaked figure kept a discreet eye out for the most-hated Aku bots. As soon as the fishy alien handed the fish to her partner, a trio of Aku's city guardians rushed past the stall, with half a dozen bug-bots in tow. "I think we should be putting out soon." The cloaked female commented to her comrade. The other cloaked figure held his tongue, deciding this was not the time for jokes and innuendos. He handed the plastic bag containing the fish to his female companion, then fished into his cloak. He produced a walkie talkie, and began on his way back to the Docks. "This is Demo. Things are getting hot around here, we're heading back." He whispered into the radio, turning his head to make sure the other cloaked person was following him.

The Bartender walked over to the two, “Listen this is no fighting club take it outside.” The multi-armed man said pointing his thumb to the door. The man looked down at the green-skinned alien he just through into the wall. The alien was now unconscious, “It’s over anyways, when he wakes up give him my bill.” He slowly made his way to the large doors, he lowered his Jingasa making sure to cover his face and exited the bar. His eyes quickly scanned the area looking out forpatrolling Aku robots, he didn’t see any but he could hear the sound of buzzing machines. He turned his head in the direction of the noise and spotted two cloaked figures running his way. He rested his hand on the handle of his katana ready to quickly draw it out if the figures proved to be enemies or if the Aku robots appeared.

The man quickly turned his head and spotted another group of Aku robots coming from the opposite direction; turning his head again he looked back at the two cloaked figures running towards him. “There after those two, they must be renegades.” He spoke under his breath, “Curse my bad luck, I leave and I walk right into a potential war-zone.” The man sighed. He turned a kicked off the ground sprinting forward towards the group of Aku robots that where blocking the way to the docks. The man drew his sword and swiftly cut the arm of the first robot before the robot had time to even realize it he was cut in two. The man jumped before the robot blew up, he landed on the shoulders of another and stabbed his katana into the mechanical monsters head. Now the robots were more focused on the samurai than anything else. “Glad I got your attention.” The man smirked.

Demokles cursed his luck as well upon seeing his path barred by the Aku bots. Perhaps Aku could see through his disguise, but the evil sorcerer would have to follow this freedom fighter to the Underworld and back before Demokles would allow himself to be captured. Moving his right hand to flip off the safety on his left 'arm', the Greek fighter was relieved when an unknown samurai stepped in and vanquished a handful of the robots. "Apollo's blessing, samurai!" Demokles called as he rushed past, towards the docks.

An Aku robot came up behind the samurai ready to strike, in a flash the man drew is second sword and stabbed it into the charging machine. He drew both his blades out of the monstrous robots and jumped away from the explosion. Once his feet touched the ground he ran behind the two rebels.
“I love thinning the number of Aku robots in this messed up world.” The samurai smirked; he caught up to the two and was running up beside them. The man looked back and saw that the robots had called for back-up a large number of Aku robots and even more bug-bots following.
The samurai turned his attention back front. “I hope you don’t mind if I tag along, I don’t think I would fare well against such a large number of robots.” He said looking back again.

"Hm. I don't see any reason why not." Demokles replied, glancing back at the pursuing minions, "I hope you like the sea."
The other cloaked figure cast a glance at her partner, who caught the glance and nodded. They turned a corner to reveal a crowd of citizens gathered for their daily commute, supposedly. Demokles gave a whistle, which centered the crowd's attention on him. The crowd then split for the three escapees, then closed around them as they passed. Demokles decided that this event was money well spent.
"The crowd will buy us some time," Demokles called back to the samurai, "But let's hurry, just to be safe."
"To the docks!" The second pirate said, casting a glance over her shoulder at the samurai.

“I’d rather face a group of Aku robots then brave a rough sea, but it seems that there’s more than a small number chasing us and I don’t think I’d last long.” The samurai looked over his shoulder again not liking the growing number of robots. He gave a small sigh of relief when one of the pirates whistled splitting the crowd allowing them some time. “I fully agree.” The Samurai replied, keeping up with the two rouges. The samurai never let his hand move away from the handle of his sheathed katana just in case another wave somehow came upon the trio.

Demokles veered a sharp right, then a left. All that remained was a straight shot to the docks, the ship, and their escape. The pirate, his powerful legs pumping, raced through a larger street, catching a glimpse of an oncoming army of robots further down. That made him all the more frantic, and his partner matched his stride with ease.
Demokles tore into the dock, the hard soles of his sandals echoing off the waves below. Clanking and clashing footsteps could be heard throughout the city streets and in the harbor, and all the inhabitants of the docks seemed on-edge because of it. He blew past them though, right up a pier towards a medium-sized pirate ship with a rather large rocket engine mounted on the back. He made another quick turn and nearly pitched off the slippery planks.
"Let's heat this baby up, men!" Demokles called, and his crew responded heartily.

The samurai followed the rogues closely, easily keeping up with the two. He turned his head and saw that the robots where gaining on the trio and increasing in numbers. He decided to make a move, “Damn robots.” He spat, coming to a stop; he drew his katana wind seemed to whirl around the blade. The samurai made a power swing at the dock, then followed with another. The beams under where cut and end of the dock fell into the water along with a number of Aku robots, he swung his blade one last time slicing the first wave of robots that stood at the end of the dock not wanting to follow their comrades. One of the rather large robots made the jump and landed on the other end of the dock in front of the Samurai, but the force of his impact snapped the beams underneath the two. The man kept his footing and soon realized that the whole dock was beginning to fall apart. The large robot made on last attempt at striking the samurai before it fell into the water, but the man was fast and cut the hand of the monster off. He looked over and saw that the two rouges where already on the ship. The samurai kicked off and sprinted towards the boat jumping off the boards as they fell into the sea, he made on last jump as the last of the boards fell. He landed on the boat and rolled, but the samurai quickly recovered. His breathing was heavy; he sheathed his katana and looked over at the male rouge. “So where’s this ship heading?” He asked between breaths, a small smirk across his lips.

DEmokles, busy ordering shiphands who weren't busy with the engines into battle formations, barely heard the young Samurai's question. "Away from here." He answered hesitantly, eyeing the oncoming Akubots.
A high-pitched whine suddenly broke the tense atmosphere, and the Greek pirate's tense body relaxed slightly. "Hold onto something." He said to the samurai before hugging the mast with his right arm. In nearly an instant, the ship rocketed off across, or perhaps over, the calm waters and away from Neo Tokyo.

"Oh my,"
Chiyoshi had granted many a wonderful wish. She'd recieved different forms of tribute from her greater days as a wishing well. But nothing, nothing compared to what she saw before her.
The city was enormous. She couldn't even put into words the size of it. Buildings were built so tall that she was surprised they didn't fall over. Flying carriages, flashing lights, and the people! They were nothing like the ones she'd served...no these came in every size, shape and color! Tall green ones, little pink and blue ones. Some like dogs, some like birds. She was amazed.
But also, on guard.
Ever since the goddess had told her about Aku, she'd kept the compass inside her. It wasn't difficult, she merely kept it inside a bubble. Being made completely out of water had the odd plus side. But Aku, Aku, he sounded frighteningly familiar. Who could he be in this world? She looked around...but any one of these people could pass off for him.
Perhaps she should ask...but who?
She then saw a crowd of rather interesting looking folk (like metal! The world outside of the well was truly fascinating!) surrounding a man...with a sword! Just like Master Jack! She let herself become a watery entity, slipping underneath the legs of the metallic folk. She reformed before the man, smiling politely...and completely oblivious to the position he was in.
"Pardon me," she asked, "But who is Aku?"
