As you all hopefully know, Firefly and the whole guild turned one recently. And by recently I mean like a week ago.
Anyway, as all Firefly members can clearly see from the front page and the character section we have a group picture. The only thing is that the group picture we have is out of date. In order to try and deal with that I have been getting single pictures done of those not included, but it just isn't the same. So I thought to myself, 'Hey, if I can get the artist (or just any artist) to do a group picture of those of us who are in it now, and who have been in it for a while that would be awesome. I should totally do that as a birthday present for the rp.' So that is what I am going to do as soon as I can either get the artist I had used before, or someone else to draw a huge group picture.
What I want to know from you is who should be in it. Does your character deserve to be in it? Of course the current crew is going to be in there: Parker, Malik, Pavan, Kelly, Iris, Chris, Rex, and Addy. And so far there has only been one consistant posting chracter, Dino, who will also be featured. Those will be the people I will tell the artist to include unless someone tells me otherwise. If your name was not mentioned it means you really haven't been posting in the rp. If you want your name to be on there I recomend you start posting and tell me very quickly that you want to be part of this or you will miss out, and I will feel like an a**.
Also, I will be paying for this out of my own pocket, but I will also not turn money away. When I come up with a price, and an artist, and you decide you want to help out that is great, but I don't expect anyone to donate who doesn't want to. It isn't required, and I will not love you any less if you do not, and I won't love you any more if you do... though that last part might be a lie...
Anyway, tell me what you think, if you are excited, if you have any artist recomendations, anything like that. If not, well, hope you like the end result.

AHHHHHHHH! I am very excited! I have been secretly hoping we would get another one done, not that I don't love the first one, but it is out of date now. I can't wait to see what the next artist does with us! *does excited dance*
Ed, I will donate to the cause, don't worry. We are all in this together, and I want to help out with the group birthday present.

Also, I just got a message back from the artist who did our original picture, and she is willing do do another one for us. It is all so very exciting!

I am working on getting all of the picture information together right now so I can send it in to her, and get it done in a fairly timely manner.

question...are you getting a gaia artist to do this..because there are some really awesome people on both deviant art and gaia who i could recommend..though i dont know their gaia gold price range sweatdrop ..but i can ask 3nodding

I have a gaia artist that I have worked with before. She actually did the other group picture that we have had done. She does a good job, and for a fraction of the cost of other guys.

Yea... I was going to recommend someone too. She usually does work, only for evolving items though. Which could be considered pricey... or not bad considering how you look at it, since you get get the evolivng items from La Victoire

I think she usually prefers AVIs... but all the characters would be pretty easy to transfer to an AVI form on Tektek.

It's more like she posted what she wanted and people gave her the evolving items for the art. I don't know how you'd go about a group picture though...

She is really very good, but really very expensive... Also there are not a whole lot of artists who will draw as many people as we have. We have nine for sure, and then two more in waiting.
