Tulip walked across the meadow with the wind flowing softly past her. It was a bright Spring morning and Tulip wanted nothing more but to relax. Slowly she laid down in the lush grass and let out a soft sigh. Her tail moved slowly as she sang her song. Her song was nothing more than soft musical whistling but it attracted all sorts of animals to her.

 Willow sniffed the air curiously, the scent of flowers was everywhere today. All the spring flowers seemed to have bloomed at once, and now the air was heavy with falling petals, and swirling dandelions. Curiously, Willow batted a dandelion with a hoof, and let out a startled, "Yeep!!!" As it bursted all over her. She delicately spat dandelion tufts out of her mouth, and shook herself off. She thought she heard whistling, but she couldn't pick up what direction it was coming from.

Tulip was distracted by a sound she heard off in the distance. Stopping her song and straining her eyes she saw a figure. It looked like another Ulaya like herself. Getting up she ran in the direction of the figure.

Willow turned around to groom the dandelion bits out of her tail, and it only took her a couple seconds to get it beautiful and fluffy again. Happy, she clicked her hooves on the rock, and wondered if it would be just as fun to explode a dandelion again. The air was pretty thick with them, so when she turned around and hit a dandelion with her paw, she saw when the dandelion fluff cleared that she had gotten it all over another ulaya!
Willow looked at her worridly, and said, "Are you okay? I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." Willow couldn't really see what the newcomer looked like under the massive cloud of dandelion fluff that had landed on her from the dandelion explosion.

Tulip smiled and giggled. "I'm fine." She turned around and shook vigorously to get the powder off of her fur. Within second the yellow powder was gone. "I'm Tulip what's your name?" She asked. Slowly she sat down and licked herself a bit the pollen was getting off quite easily. It just needed a few more licks. After the pollen was all gone she couldn't help but ask, "Does my fur look all ruffled?" There was a playful look in her eyes and no anger at all.

Willow hid a grin, the other ulaya looked so funny covered in dandelion fluff, Willow couldn't imagine how she herself looked. She answered, "I'm Willow. Tulip is a pretty name, isn't it the name of a flower?" Looking around, Willow's eyes lit up as she saw a field of Tulip flowers not far off. "And you look like a Tulip too."
At Tulips question, Willow scrutinized her with a practiced eye, and said, "You've got a little ruffled fur on your chest, but thats about it."

"My mother named my Tulip because I look like one." Tulip replied smiling. She looked down and licked down the ruffled part of her chest. Hmm... I wonder. Getting to her paws Tulip tried exploding a dandelion and it got all over her and Willow. Tulip immediately laughed and said, "Ha now your all covered in pollen too!"

Willow jumped and fell on her butt. It was a very comical position, with her eyes wide and her ears shaking violently to rid themselves of the pollen gathered inside them. She sat up and grinned mischievously, then exploded 5 of the dandelions on the newly groomed Tulip. "Haha!" She yelled over her shoulder playfully as she bounded away, and added, "Bet you can't pollen me again!" She turned around and went into a play crouch, waggling her tail.

Tulip fell over by the pollen as if it were a storm. Laughter in her eyes she grabbed a dandelion by it's stem and pounced Willow exploding the dandelion on her face. "Now who's yellow?" She challenged playfully before bounding of a couple of feet. Tulip was glad she met such a great friend today. It was like being carefree like a kit again.

Willow's eyes glinted, and she said challangingly, "Oh, its ON now, oh its ON." She grabbed a couple dandelions and bounded away from Tulip, behind a couple of conviently placed rocks about as tall as her shoulder. It provided a good protection. "Hah! I've got a fort and you don't!" She called out playfully to Tulip, and began making "Dandelion bombs" which consisted of several dandelions wraped together with a small rock in the center so she could throw it far and it wouldn't just float. She grabbed one and tossed it at Tulip.

Tulip saw this "Dandelion Bomb" coming and jumped just so it hit her tail. "Bring it on goldy locks!" Looking arnd she spotted a tree away she ran to that tree grabbing as many dandelions as she could as she ran. When she got the the tree she jumped against it so many times that the honey hive fell out. Quickly she stuck the dandelions to the honey and shaping it into a ball. It was a great ball of sticky dandelions. After ten seconds she ran from her hiding spot and threw the dadnelions at Willow's fort.

Willows eyes widened in terror and suprise as she saw the great sticky mass of dandelions coming at her. "EEP!" She yowled, and jumped flat on the ground. The sticky mass of honey and dandelions flew over her, but she got sprayed with drops of honey and dandelion fluff when the thing exploded behind her.
"If you wana play sweet, I'll play mean!" She called out, grinning at the stupid pun. Then ran to the nearest soft patch of dirt and dug up a few choice earthworms, grabbing some honey from the giant splat on the otherside of her fort, grabbed some dandelions, and mashed the whole thing together. "Incoming!" She yelled as she flung the gooey blob at Tulip.

Tulip saw the great ball coming and her fur was fluffled in fear. When the thing struck several inches away from her glods of it sprayed all over her. Looking down in dismay she realized that her shiny fur was sticky and full of worms. "Oh this means war!" She exclaimed from where she was hiding. Gathering all the honey she had left, Tulip made a sticky ball. Then, she headed out to the field and rolled the ball on worms, dandelions and who knows what else until the ball was taller than herself. With a giant push Tulip kicked the ball towards Willow.

Willow turned white, her jaw dropped, her eyes opened wide, and she squeaked, "Oooh, my GAAAAAAAWD!" The ball of...goo kept rolling toward her, faster and faster, so Willow ran. "EEEP!!" she screamed as she saw it was getting closer. A shadow was over her head, Willow looked up, and saw a giant mass of honey, worms, and who knows what else roll over her.
"Ugh, BLECH!" She vomited out a few choice earth worms, and they inched away, "Thats disguesting!" She cried out. Willow was covered in honey and dandelion. Then she grinned, and ran over and pounced on Tulip, getting her covered in the yuck too. "Ha! I say, Share the scum!" She flung a glob from her coat at Tulip.

"Eww!" Yulip exclaimed as Willow pounced her and she batted at Willow with her sticky paws. "What do you say to a truce?" Tulip asked or rather, laughed. Both of them were covered in a goo that would last them a lifetime.
