The Amazon Rainforest is a moist broadleaf forest in the Amazon Basin of South America. The area, also known as Amazonia, the Amazon jungle or the Amazon Basin, encompasses seven million square kilometers (1.7 billion acres), though the forest itself occupies some 5.5 million square kilometers (1.4 billion acres), located within nine nations: Brazil (with 60 percent of the rainforest), Colombia, Peru (with 13 percent of the rainforest, second after Brazil), Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana. States or departments in four nations bear the name Amazonas after it. The Amazon represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests and comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world.

His movements not making a sound as the Samurai ran through the dense Rainforest, Gato had parted ways with the pirates that he meet back in Neo Tokyo. Telling them that he needed to return ‘home’. The thick, beautiful rainforests were where Gato had taken up residence. He loved the sounds, the natural energy flowing through the forest, for it calmed the silent samurai. The samurai smiled as his home came into site. A rather small tree house of sorts, that Gato had built himself. Landing on the balcony, he raised the cloth covering the entrance and walked in. Nothing fancy a bundle of piled up leaves, and light blanket sufficed as a place to rest. As he walked further in the floor sunk in, a pot tied to a chain hung over a dry bundle of sticks was at the center of the room. Gato sat down in front of the pot, he then proceeded to add vegetables and spices to the pot. “Hope this taste better than my the last soup a made.” The samurai sighed, he then lite the fire and laid against a collection of leaves. A soft meow was heard outside, “Come on in.” He moaned.

"Amazing! Amazing!" cheered Chiyoshi in excitement as they stood at the edge of the jungle, "I never saw such an enormous jungle! Do they have such monumental places all over the world?" she asked Luke. The compass was wavering slightly in the direction of the jungle, so they'd taken their chances. She kept it clamped tightly in her hands. Ever since they'd set off from Neo Tokyo, she'd worked harder on keeping her form less watery, with better results.

((An obivious cliche but feels good to be back xD))
Gato stirred the liquid in the pot, the aroma filled the small tree house, attracting more feline friends. The samurai moved to a corner of the house were a wooden block was set, he drew his blade. The sword was his prized possession, given to him by his master. He reminisced about his days in the dojo, a slight smile creeping onto his face. Gato began to sharpen the Zetsurin, his face stoic as he tended to the katana. A black cat pawing at his back broke his concentration, “Yes, yes it will be ready soon.” He smiled setting the blade onto on the block and turning to pet the small feline. Gato had no idea why, but cats seemed to be drawn to him wherever he went. The samurai never cared though, he found there company much more enjoyable compared to some of the beings on this planet. Leaving the weapon he moved back to the pot, the water slightly boiling. He distributed the soup into four bowls, three for the many felines and one for himself. “Be nice and share now.” he watched as the cats began to eat his concoction. The samurai laid back against the leaves once again, how he loved it here the sounds of the forest was like music to his ears, and lulled him into a sense of tranquility. “Not bad.” He chuckled after taking a sip.

(I'm not sure whether I should wait for King or just to post something myself >_< By the way, do you think the Ruined City thing was a good idea. I'd like some feedback.)

Chiyoshi followed the compass's point, changing direction abruptly as it twitched in a certain direction. She was so focused on the compass, that she didn't see anything else in her way until-
"Meow,"
"Eek!"
Chiyoshi stopped so abruptly that she nearly tripped, over a small, grey and white kitten. Abandoning her attention on the compass, she stooped down to coo at the kitten, picking it up gingerly.
"How cute!" she exclaimed, petting the cat in the palm of her hand. Chiyoshi was so wrapped up in it, she didn't even see the treehouse hovering above, "Are there truly such adorable creatures on this planet as well?"

((I love the idea of the Ruined city. I think it fits in perfectly. Please don't hesitate to make any other threads that would fit into the storyline.))
The teal samurai was also in awe at the sight. He had never really ventured out of Tokyo, so seeing such a forest was truly stunning. "I...Think so." he mumbled a reply to his traveling companion. He followed close to Chiyoshi, ever so often taking a glance at the compass, and occassionally cutting a few stray branches away from them. The forest really was huge...For they had been wandering around for quite some time. Finding the stone certainly wouldn't be easy. Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Luke started to wonder if Chiyoshi could even sweat. Was she at a cool temperature all the time? His aimless pondering was soon put a stop, however, when he heard her scream. In a flash, the samurai pointed his katana at the enemy. Or so he though. He slowly took back his blade when he realized it was only a mere kitten. Strange. What was a kitten doing in the rain forest? He smiled at how Chiyoshi became attached to the feline. He nodded at her in agreement.
Little did the group know that at a good distance away lurked a large machine. The machine growled as it cut down tree after tree. Already a quarter of the forest was cut down simply because Aku detested the land. The giant machine seemed as if it was covered in saw blades. Fire spewed from above the machine, and if one looked closely, it was almost as if the machine had a pair of deadly red eyes.

(Thanks! I'll be sure to make story-line fitting places for all to see biggrin And lets make it the site of the East stone because it makes sense and will ignite gewd tiems XD)
"The compass was wavering in this direction," Chiyoshi examined it carefully, "Oh I wish we had some help though, I'm not familiar with navigation at all." Then there was a small meowing sound from above, and Chiyoshi saw a cat, a whole tree house full of cats!
"Oh!" she pointed above, "What a peculiar house! But..." she tilted her head in confusion... "It's so high, won't it fall off?"

"Especially when we don't know our way around." Luke scratched the back of his head. Sheathing his katana, he started to adjust his armor. He was really baking in his armor. Upon seeing the tree house above of them, he smiled at Chiyoshi. "The branches are certainly strong enough to hold it." shading his eyes from the sun with his hand, the samurai took a good look at the sturdy house. "Why don't we rest up there for now? I think we've earned it." Luke made sure that his equipment was firmly attached to him, and then started to climb the great tree...Unaware that there was a rope ladder just behind where he was climbing.

Luke hadn't seen the ladder, but Chiyoshi did. She looked up at the young samurai, wondering if she should tell him, but he looked to be doing well on his own. He was secreting water from his skin...and that had to be good right?
So it was no wonder that by the time Luke heaved himself up onto the platform of the house that Chiyoshi was already waiting there at top. She smiled innocently back at his face.
"I decided to use the ladder," she said, pointing at the said ladder, "I was going to tell you, but you were excreting so much water I thought you were having a better time without it."

How embarrassing. The samurai chuckled a bit and shook his head. He face palmed his forehead before taking off his armor and setting it on the balcony. Luke, however, did not take his swords off. He always had them strapped onto his waist. He used to have to have his bow and arrows with him at all times, but that was before the incident years ago. The samurai dangled his legs off the side of the platform, and it was only then did he start to smell the aroma of the fresh soup. His stomach growled like a starting engine. Someone was actually living in the house. Luke found himself handling the hilt of his katana, just in case if it was an enemy base. He stood up silently, and took a step in front of Chiyoshi. He would make sure no harm befell her. The samurai stepped further in the house, but he had not drawn his blade yet.
