  So, I have a theory on why there is such a big difference between the marginally youthful, Banker With a Pocket Watch Sheogorath from Daggerfall which I based my Avatar on, and the Elder Statesman in Purple from Oblivion. The big thing here is TIME. Think about it, in the Shivering Isles expansion it was the end of an Era. Perhaps Sheogorath aged according to the age of the era. If the game's protagonist had not come along and put a stop to the Greymarch, perhaps when Sheogorath was reborn from Jyggalag he would have appeared to be a much younger version of himself... Of course it could also just be because he got bored. I like butter.

However I like the apperance of daggerfall more, I like the oblivion's character (and voice) more.

I love how, in Oblivion, everything he says starts out amused and lighthearted and then darkens in tone and becomes threatening. I'm working on making mp3's of his voice to make ringtones because I am that easily amused. Would anyone else be interested? If so I'm going to post them on Phonezoo.com later on.

I would use those ringtones Awesome to the max! As soon as I find the cord to hook the vcr to my laptop I will get those up! Yes, my set up is lame but it works beautifully for making mp3s. Back in the late 90s I had a homestead wav page with movie wavs, but then I got bored and everyone knows what happens then...

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to extensively play Daggerfall, so I wouldn't know about the interaction with him there. However, he does look interesting. Well, he's Sheogorath; of course he's always interesting. ;]~

Hmm... Seeing as I've ne'er played Daggerfall I must cast my vote for the Oblivion version. However based on looks alone, I must admit I concietedly prefer the younger MadOne.
Also, I would use one of those ringtones in a heartbeat. Oh, and before I forget, that animation made me laugh like this.. sortof. whee
