The oldest of the Old, and the Schoolest of the school. When people talk about Table-Top Gaming, most often they will tell you about what they did for fun back before they had this "new fangled "Donkey Kong"" that everyone raves on about. Though Table-Top Gaming has changed over the years, in one sense it has always stayed the same, with paper, pencil, and dice. Who needs the new state of the art $10,000 computer when you can use “Imagination”.
Generally speaking, any game that you play with paper, pencil, and dice is a Table-Top Game. Though better examples of Table-Top Games, would be games like “Shadowrun”, “Bloodbowl” “Warhammer” and most famous of all “Dungeons and Dragons”.
