There are alot of games out there that you just know are going to be good. But was the best game that you played, that you didn't really expect to be all that great, and why?

Batsu Gama Personaly my vote goes for Harvest Moon. I mean comm'on guys... "Farming Simulator"!!! Sounds like the most boring concept for a game, but it's f**k'n addicting! ok i'm not going to say anything about you for liking that game, i mean i've never played it but personally, if i wanted too plan potatoes then i would just go do it in my back yard. but hay there's probably something more that i can't see just by looking at the cover. now then the game that i did not expect. hmm... i'd have to say that the closes thing to that would have to be spider-man 2 the video game. GTA, sand box free roaming mixed with spidy's moves. how's that not sound like fun?

I think you missunderstood the Topic K. The point of it being that you basicly go "Man, no way this game is all that good", And you start out not thinking it would be fun in the first place. But then you play it an it turns out to be awsome. But eh, like I said, the game is more than just "I plant potatoes in my backyard". Which is why Harvest Moon gets my vote. 3nodding

Aww yes, I in fact have one that fits this description like a mega blox to a lego.
If you've not heard of Gunbound Revolution, It's a small 2d free to play game that you download off of a website. Already sounds a bit boring, neh?
Gameplay can seem a little complicated if your new, but to put it basically, you pick a ship to ride in. These come in all sorts of fuzzy funny looking creatures that range from a barrel to a crab. Each ship has a different type of gun that fires a different type of bullet and has two different kind of bullets (plus a special).
It's a turn based game, so on your turn you move your little critter a couple spaces, choose the angle to point your gun, and fire. If you get lucky, it hits an opponent instead of someone on your team, or yourselves. It takes great skill to be able to actually hit someone on the first turn.
But to add to all that, the terrain gets in the way. If anyone here has ever played Bang Bang, it's just like that. Dents appear in the land where your bullet hit. There's also the added bonus of wind. Sometimes strong, sometimes weak, but it's constantly changing, so you have to get used to firing with a direction and number in mind.
Over all, this game is actually one of the funnest games I have ever been addicted to. I highly recommend it. Google search Gunbound Revolution, cuz I'm too tired to go find a link.
