Light has died,both worlds are in chaos.In the human world crime has started again.In the Shinigami world,the Shinigami king is furious.He's trying to keep Death Notes inside the Shinigami world.

He learn of the shinagami. When he decided he had learned enough he waited till he was walking down a rode and gagged him. He took him to a a shed no longer used and took his notebook. Learning from his new shinagami all he needed he left the man to rot. Anthony looked at the TV.The reporter was talking about the death of Kira,who was revealed to be Light.He had met Light once before at school,a smart guy,it made sense that he might've been Kira.Though Kira had been killed a week ago,it was still a developing story on the news.
Dee Dee walked into the living room of Anthony's apartment,holding some grapes,"Still?You'd think they would have stopped talking about it." she said carelessly.
Anthony nodded,"I know." he said.He turned to his laptop and went on websites posting lists of convicted felons.

~meanwhile on the far side of town~
Brillant light spilled from the muted television and filled the dark corners of the anesthetically clean apartment and fell in shining caresses on the young woman that sat in tandem in front of it.
"So, he's finally dead" Fate said in a emotionless tone, "The great Kira...is dead......this so called god of our modern time"
Her ice blue eyes stared unblinkingly on the screen as men from a paramedic vehicle retrived the body of the fallen Kira and placed him gently in the back. And as she watched this, filing away any detail that could be used for later. She began to wonder.....
"Who killed the 'mighty' Kira?"

((Just felt like posting again so...... whee ))
"What must his.....well-wishers....minions...yes, minions is the right word, think of the toppling of their great king" Fate said as she raised out of her chair and finailly cut off the t.v., "It must be a interesting reaction to be sure"
Moving around in the darkness confident of her knowledge of her surroundings she walked the distance to her kitchen and opened the fridge door. Finding nothing of great interest to eat she instead reached inside and grabbed a small carton of apple juice and a straw from a near- by drawer.

Anthony started writing names down in his Death Note quickly with a bloodthristy look,"I want all the power!I will realize Light's dream!" he said greedily.He didn't stop writing names for a few minutes.He set his pen down and looked at Dee Dee,"We're going to be able to do this,aren't we?"
Dee Dee giggled,"Only if you really want it." she replied.

Chucking the dry carcus of the apple juice carton into the trash. Fate leaned against the counter. She was trying to refrain from swithing on the t.v., but it was almost too much of a mystry to resist. The Great Kira, dying in the same way as his victims.
The very fact seemed like irony in the making or maybe "Destiny" Fate said softly, " A unending cycle that had finally reached its end"

Not being one to deny herself the things that she wanted for any amount of time Fate walked again to he television. And what she saw made her reach to remove the mute option from the t.v.
4 people, or at least 4 people that the police have found, were dead. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as people die every day, at every second. What really set these deaths apart from others, what really called attention to these normally insinificant people. Was the fact that they were killed in the same area, that they were killed in the same way as the victims of Kira's died.
"It....can't be"

Anthony hit record as the video camera filmed the peice of paper with Greed on it in spikey letters,he spoke with a fake Russian accent,"My name vis Greed.You vill pay for vwhat you did to Kira ze only true god zere ever vas.I can kill like he killed,so novone is safe,svweet dreams vworld ov lairz." he said.He ejected the tape and handed it to Dee Dee who flew to the news station and put the tape in the slot.The channel started playing the tape as she got back.

As the the voice played over the town in what could be real time. Fate's brain almost overflowed with the information that it took in. But amongst all the equations, mathamatics, and just plain startling realizations. One thought continued to echo in her mind.
What L started hasn't finished.......its started again
But who was this Greed, as the new Kira called himself. Who was the one that continues Kira's rein of terror. Though Fate knew that she should be afraid or even terrified of this new 'Kira', she found her self intead curious and intriged.
Smiling to herself as she stood up from her crouch and moved to her lab top computer and brought up a screen featuring the word fate splayed across a infinate symbol, Fate hacked into the news system and began to record, "You? Making us pay?" Here Fate chuckled softly almost in pity, " I feel almost sorry for you, breaking others like you would a unfavored toy just for your satisfaction, almost like a child having a tantrum"
" You will never succeed in your goals, for where ever you strike, I will be there right on your tail.....until I find you....." Fate grinned widely with gleeful abandon, " For where L had failed......I will succeed!"
Leaning close to the screen almost as if she could see Greed through it Fate then said, " Your defeat......Will be your ultimate Fate!"

Anthony watched as Fate delivered a message to him,"She will be a distraction.To bad she didn't say her name." he did the same thing as the first time,"Vwell,vwell.You seem very convident mizz.Too bad I have to,how do you zay,take care ov you.Now madam,I vill demonstrate my power by killing ze very newzcazterz you interuppted when they fvinizhed my mezzage." he said.He handed the tape to Dee Dee who flew to the newstation and dropped the tape off.The message played and one by one,the anchors she interrupted fell out of their chairs.

Looking at the panic that the news set was going through at the fallen anchors Fate responded with a emotionless voice, "Did that some how make you feel superior? Did it make you feel above us 'poor mortals' to freely take our lives?"
Sneering at the screen in distaste Fate continued, " You can't defeat one target so you move on to another.....so......'brave' of you" Staightening from the near crouch that she was in Fate took a stick of strawberry pocky from the sweets box that she kept near-by and muttered to herself in a drawling voice, " Obviously you have to at least see the target, interesting.......not only that.....but the news cast only plays in select areas.....so you have to be near-by......."
Turning her attention to the computer and saying now in a voice loud enough for Greed to hear Fate continued, "I think I have enough information on you now......thank you so much" Smirking at the screen almost cheekily Fate decicded to end the game, " Fate, out"
Cutting the connection from the news station and destroying any virtual trails she may have left behind in the system. Fate shut down the computer and relaxed fully in her seat.......this could be a interesting case......
