Butterflies and Sunshine~*
The twinkling shines on the dew drops
Rest on blades of grass
As I hear your feet shuffle,
Their usual schlepping as you pass.
Supine under the ancient oak tree
I use my imagination
And you’re suddenly walking my way,
Agreeing to my inclination.
You’re kneeling beside me,
Your breath on my face,
We know the love is gone
So why am I in your embrace?
Your hand is in my hair.
You whisper in my ear-
Your gorgeous fantasies-
Your most disgusting fear-
You tell me all
That I don’t need to hear.
“Wait, this isn’t right,”
I suddenly ponder,
“Something’s gone wrong.”
When it did is what I wonder.
You’re grinning from ear to ear-
This scares me even more.
I know what that smile means
But I’ve never seen you wear it before.
I darted up quickly;
I moved out of your stare;
Then you arose as well
To give me an evil glare.
I try to wake myself up
Then I realize something worse
This is not a dream.
I’m having my dreadful first.
A bright red butterfly
Now flutter’s over head
As you’re pinning me down
On this emerald lush bed.
I focus on the garnet fellow
While you force yourself into me.
He flies on to a place
Where I would rather be.
