I'm pretty sure this is where you post your ideas =S. This is one of mine (my favorite one).
- Rei -
Rei is about an strength/stamina enhancing energy called Rei. 15 years prior to his death, Shin Kiromura (19 year-old scientist for the military) was forced to go through with the Rei Project even though Shin knew the project would fail. The Project failed in many casualties because when the Rei energy became oficially active, there would be a mass exposion. Shin survived and met Shiika, His wife, who he started a family with. Shiika's last request was for Shin to keep their son away from violence, to keep him safe. Though Shin didn't say this to her, he replied "I'm sorry, but that's a promise I can't keep". The actual story takes place 2 1/2 years after Shin's death. The military (Rebuilt after the disaster by Akiro) is running fine and smooth, Raiya, a 14 year-old soldier is the main character in this story. Raiya can barely remember anything from his past (except his friend and lover, Sayumi). Through the story he learns about his past and the creation and use of the Rei energy.

- Characters -
Raiya
Main Character. He is a mysterious 14 year-old soldier who joined the military 2 years prior to the start of the story. He is silent, cold, yet kind. His skills with a gun are impressive which makes him a prodigy in strength. He is in love with Sayumi. As the story progresses, he discovers he has Rei energy inside him.
Sayumi
Sayumi is a kind, innocent girl dragged into the fighting because of her love for Raiya. She is his only reason to live and he will protect her no matter what. Sayumi learns about his origins and how Reiko (Rei energy) has sworn to kill her. Even the threat to her life doesn't distance her from Raiya.
Reiko
The personality created from the Rei energy inside Raiya. Reiko is cold, sarcastic, and merciless. She loves to kill and wants to take over Raiya's body and make it her own. Reiko is female because the Rei energy was injected into Raiya's mother (Shiika) before his birth. Because not directly injected into Raiya, the Rei energy went through his mother first. The Rei energy took a female form because of this. Reiko has sworn to kill Sayumi because Sayumi can stop Reiko's killing sprees. For that reason Raiya dislikes Reiko greatly.
Akiro
Akiro is the head of the military and encourages Raiya to keep fighting for peace. After Raiya is fired/exiled for a year and comes back to see Cherei (The top nurse and a friend to Raiya) killed because Akiro allowed her to fight without training her. Raiya refuses to join back but Akiro uses Sayumi as a hostage to force him to rejoin.
Norai
A mysterious woman who has had Rei energy injected into her. In the end she starts an all out attack on the military. She is different in the way that she killed her Rei energy's personality so she would have more power.

Looking forward to it ^_^
It's hard for me to say anything about a story from a summary like this, so I can't comment much on it yet. Sounds like a story with much room for fighting.
As for the picture you have up so far - I guess that Raiya also changes his physical shape when Reiko appears? (Turns into a girl). It looks nice, but somehow it also looks like her legs are detached from the rest of the body (the body is seen from the front, while the legs are seen from the side and such.) I think it may have to do with the right leg being too long, so it looks like the hip has been moved forward. If that makes any sense...

There's no shape change just the eye colour changes (Raiya =Purple eyes / Reiko = Red eyes) Later in the story something is used to materialize her for a bit(spell/magic)

it looks really good.
Have you written it a bit more detailed somewhere else? I think that's pretty much neccesairy for a big story like this^^.

I have kinda. I wrote about the characters in a coil-bound notebook. I could scan it this friday with the manga pages.

Oh, pages *-*
It looks really nice and clear^^ I love how you used the panels. (I'm not that good at it)
Though I do think you should practice a little more on the body and proportions.. Just so you know it exactly and do it good for the entire manga ;3
It would be such a shame if some of the pages didn't look that good because you didn't have the proportions right... It's such hard work just putting a page together!

It looks nice so far, although I do think you should out different perspective, and the words are kind of hard to read...but heck, I can't really judge now with only this few pages. I'll draw your story some free fan art when you put up more, promise! :3
And how often are you going to be updating?

I think the best way to put update in the title to encourage people to read it, is to add the date. Just so they know it's really recent =P

Its sounds really cool ^^ It reminded me of my manga A.D.E.N. because of the rei project thing, but I guess great minds think alike xD. Anyway it looks awsome ^w^
