Willow was freezing cold, the icy wind whipped through the trees, suddenly turning the warm summer day into a winter wasteland. She watched enviously as a mouse ran into its burrow, and muttered, "Not fair, the mouse is so tiny." She shivered more, and turned into the thicker part of the woods, where the wind wouldn't be so strong.

With a happy sigh Damon shook his body excitedly and sniffed the air. It was a nice crisp day, hardly ever cold; more hot then anything didn't seem to mind the breezy weather.
Standing on a small stone overhang he looked around, enjoying the forest environment; birds flying, squirrels squeaking, deer zipping between the trees. "What to do, what to do." He questioned out loud and hopped off the miniature cliff. He began to hum a little tune he made up and walked into the forest for some fruit he enjoyed yesterday.

Willow smiled as the thick trees blocked out the blistering wind. She stepped into a small clearing, where it was a little colder, but not by much. In this clearing she was very happy to find an orange tree. Her mouth began to water, and she murmured, "I haven't had an orange in ages..." The trunk was slippery, and with her hoofpaws she couldn't climb up it.
She paced around the trunk, every so often making soft noises of frustration and longing for one of the beautiful orange fruits.

The walk to his fruit island, as he liked to call it, didn't take to long to walk there. 'Got me out here in the water so deep.Tell me how you gon' be without me' He paused in his singing when he heard a sound coming up ahead. Creeping forward slowly, he found his eyes on a golden brown creature with- 'Is that a unihorn and does she have hoofs?' He thought with surprise.
Clearing his throat Damon asked, "Um, excuse me miss? Do you need any help?" He noticed that she was trying to get an orange, one of his favourite fruits, from a tree.

Willow, her brow still furrowed, turned to see who was talking to her. When she saw it was another ulaya, her mood lightened, and she decided to play a bit. "Why yes, see, with my hoof paws I can't climb the tree very well. Do you think you could help me get an orange?" She tilted her head prettily, her horn glinting in the sunlight. She wouldn't take it too far as to make the other ulaya think she had affections for him, but she hadn't flirted with someone for a while, and she feared she was getting out of practice. Besides, this seemed like a very nice ulaya, someone that might stick around and play with her for a bit.
