 Haine was hopping around in the trees, swinging from one branch to another. She wasn't really paying a lot of attention to where she was going. A few things were running though her mind, so she was distracted. It was no surprise when she slipped up on one of the branches a fell into a small puddle on the ground, it just had to rain the day before!
"No fair!" She whined lightly and climbed out of the muddy water. It was her fault, but at the same time she couldn't help but blame 'mother nature'. She sighed, and shook herself off one last time before sitting down on the ground with a dull look on her face. "I need something to do..." She said, sighing lightly.

 Ian kept his expression neutral as he walked along. The day hadn't been going great but he knew it had to get better. The moon had come out early in the sky. Skirting around a puddle he brushed his paw lightly on the grass to get the mud off. His mane fluffed up in a sudden burst of wind and he thought angrily that a storm might come again today. Parhaps the day wouldn't get better, only worse and worse. Now he felt like going home and going to bed.

A sudden sharp breeze blew though the air and Haine's brown maned flew off to her side. She was so annoyed, if it started raining again she would only be in a worse mood. Just then something caught her attention, a bright blue color walked through the tree just a few feet away. She'd been known for her curiosity when she was little and it never died off.
She smiled as dashed off though the trees and popped out from behind a bush, just as he was about to pass it. "Hello!" She said, smiling brightly, she always loved meeting new people.

Ian's tail twitched. He wasn't surprised, he was one of the best at scenting. He blinked, now he was surprised. This was...uh...Hay-something. She was very pretty with her deep green eyes, flowing brown air hair and spotted tail. He smiled his warm smile and bowed his head slightly. "Hello." He said, gazing at her through his gray and red eyes. "How are you miss?" He asked, a tint of anxiousness in his voice considering she was dripping mud.

Haine tilted her head lightly, noticing something she hadn't when she fist popped out. His eyes were different colors, how odd! She leaning forward, getting a little too close, to examine his eyes. She laughed lightly and pulled back. "I'm fine! Please, call me Haine?" She asked, nodding her head.
She glanced down at herself, she was still dripping with mud and water. She stuck her tongue out for a second and then looked back up at him, taking a good look for the first time. He was quite handsome, with his bright blue fur and white paws. She thought he was adorable! "Love you eyes by the way! And, excuse the mud! I...kind of fell into a puddle..." She said, with a goofy smile on her face.

Ian blushed slightly and smiled. She was a bit hyper, stilly quite cute. He bowed slightly again, "My name is Ian. It's good to meet you." He nodded once. "My eyes...oh um yeah. Oh well we should find somewhere for you to wash off?" He blinked and his eyes sparkled.

Haine sighed and shook off again, little speaks of mud flew everywhere. She laughed lightly at Ian now, who was spotted with mud as well. "You know, That's a good idea! Let's find somewhere to wash off." She said, stciking her tongue out at him playfully , before trotting up the path.

"Oh. Alright then." He said simply, following her quickly. A little too quickly, he ran into her and they both ending up falling down. He paused for half a second of silence and then broke into loud laughter. "Sorry Ms.Haine."

Haine was bouncing off, in a bit of a blissful state. Then Ian ran right into her and she tumbled over, she didn't have great balance to begin with. She rolled over when she heard his laughing, and her little mood vanished. Usually she was snap back and call him an idiot, but she couldn't help but laugh with him. When she thought about it, it was a bit funny.
"Oh! No need to call me Miss! Haine is fine, as long as you don't mind me calling you just Ian?" She said, tiltin her head lightly and rolling onto her feet.

"Oh,no, not at all mis...er Haine." He tested the name out on his tounge. "Could you tell me what are destination is then?" He frowned, and brushed some of the mud out of her fur with his tail.

Haine thought about it for a second, "I think there's a little pond around here somewhere. I know I've been there before with Benedict!" She said, pondering where it had been. Of course, she had been younger then, and Benedict had been bouncing off the walls! "I think it's that way!" She said, mostly guessing and continuing on the same path for some time until she cut further into the forest.
