This is where our cutting edge technology is developed and tested. Here is our main technology lab where our biggest and most dangerous equipment is developed, assembeled, and tested. Help is appriciated. Just a side note: People don't start calling me "Q." I'm not from James Bond. Just call me Jet or Sergent Jet or whatever my rank is at the time.

Here is a list of our current technology that is perfected(that means it works like it should):

LaserScan Long Range Hidden Camera Detector
User Image
The LaserScan hidden camera locator is the most powerful detector/locator of wireless or wired hidden cameras on the market today. Two high-power alternately pulsating lasers scan for camera lenses up to 50 ft. away.
Hidden cameras are easily and quickly located and viewed as bright flashing red lights by simply looking into the 4X magnified, focus adjustable, optical glass view port.
Due to laser frequencies focused on camera lens reflectivity, "false" alerts are virtually eliminated. Locates ALL kinds of cameras, including pinhole and cameras hidden inside objects such as clock radios, smoke detectors, etc.

Countermeasures Set

TD-53 Advanced Transmitter DetectorUser Image

The TD-53 can be used to detect, verify and locate hidden transmitters in your home, office or car. Use the TD-53 to perform a professional RF sweep of your premises, including your telephone system. Similar in operation to a Geiger counter, the sensitive antenna system can be used to probe all areas of a room. As the antenna approaches the hidden transmitter, the audible tone clicks faster and faster while the ten step solid-state meter indicates the signal strength.
At this point, switch modes from Detect to Verify to differentiate a bug from a regular radio or TV transmission. If a bugging device is present, a continuous squealing tone is generated by the TD-53. By sweeping the probe, this tone can lead you directly to the bug. The switch selectable SENSITIVITY level improves detection capabilities of the unit in high signal strength areas. For private (non-alerting) listening, an earphone jack is provided.

P-01 Wideband RF Probe

The P-01 wideband active probe which covers 5 MHz to 2,500 MHz. The P-01 can be positioned up to 25 feet away from the TD-53 by using an extension cable. For example, the probe could be discreetly placed in a target room while the TD-53 is monitored in another room. Several other plug-in probes are available which will extend the usefulness of your TD-53 (see the next two pages). The unit measures 5.8" x 3.4" x 2" (with cover closed) and weights 9 oz. It is powered by one 9 volt alkaline battery (included). Also included is an illustrated instruction manual.

P-02 Infrared (IR) ProbeUser Image

Light beams, especially lasers, provide an excellent method for carrying audio intelligence and are not detectable by RF (radio frequency) detectors. The P-02 is a special probe which allows you to search for sources of infrared (IR) transmissions. In the case of amplitude modulated or pulse frequency modulated sources, you can actually listen and determine if the IR beam is carrying voice or other intelligence.

P-03 Line DriverUser Image

The P-03 Line Driver Probe lets you use the TD-53 for checking wire pairs for hidden microphones. One of the two LEDs on the P-03 alerts you to the presence of voltage on a wire pair. The other LED alerts you to current flow in a wire pair when the Line Driver switch is operated.
The Line Driver switch applies a voltage to the wire pair under test to turn on voltage activated microphones. The A/B switch reverses the polarity of the voltage for detecting polarity sensitive devices. You can also monitor the wire pair through the TD-53 amplifier and speaker to determine if room audio is present on the pair. Any of the above conditions can indicate a microphone attached to the wire pair under test.

P-04 Carrier Current/Video Camera ProbeUser Image

The P-04 is used in conjunction with the TD-53 for detecting carrier current transmitters and concealed video cameras. Examples of carrier current transmitters are the wireless intercoms and room monitors sold in many electronics stores and catalogs. Carrier current eavesdropping devices can be connected to power lines, phone lines or other wire pairs. The probe covers from 10 KHz to 600 KHz in two ranges. It uses a directional pickup loop and no connection to the power lines or other wires under test is necessary. Any demodulated audio is fed to the TD-53 for monitoring and verification purposes.

TT-07 Tap TrapUser Image

While it is useful (almost necessary), the telephone is the most serious threat to your privacy in existence today. Your phone line can be wiretapped or bugged and the telephone instrument itself can be quickly and easily converted to a very efficient room monitor.
Not too much can be done about down-line taps. However, using the TAP TRAP™, you can check your phone line for on-premises series and parallel bugs and wiretaps. You can also check your telephone for the most common types of hookswitch bypasses.
A hookswitch bypass is a modification to the telephone instrument so that the carbon microphone (transmitter) or dynamic earphone (receiver) will pick up room sounds and pass them down the phone line to a listening post even with the phone hung up. This effectively turns the telephone into a room monitor.
The TAP TRAP™ detects series devices with a resistance of 61 ohms or more. (Most series taps have a resistance of over 100 ohms.) It also detects parallel devices with a resistance of 65 megohms or less. (Most parallel taps are under 30 meg-ohms.) It can also detect certain capacitively coupled taps. It weighs 7 oz. and is furnished in a high impact case that measures 4.25" x 3.25" x 1.5". The unit comes complete with all necessary plugs, cords, adapters, battery and an informative, illustrated instruction manual.

((list not yet finished. I'm working on it though.))

Thanks for the compliment(s). I'm just thinking about posting saying that you just have to ask me for a piece of equipment if it's not already listed. I basically have the bare basics up. I think I'll do that. I'll wait to see what you guys say about this though.

Hey Jet, you requested that we further discuss my crystalized depleated uranium armore in this thread.
Vash_The_Legendary_Ace
Hmm, sounds alot like the high-density crystal hardened depleted uranium armore I was developing a while back. Very similar to what Jet was talking about. The process uses extreme heat and emmence pressure to compact the molecule as tight as possible. When using using depleated uranium, this method would create amore that is pretty close to impenatrabule. The problem I came across though is the amount of presure that is needed to create such a material. As for shaping, it would require specialized presure casters to manufacture each part that is needed. The casting process would allow paint to stick to the out side surfaces so a vehicle could be coated with RAM.

Yes, and I posted there againg to clear up a missunderstanding. I think that I've found a solution to the supercompression issue. Not that long ago, a Chinese scientist, after eight years and about 26.7 million U.S. dollars, created and experimental fusion reactor. It works by super compresssing atoms at extremely high temperatures. During his experiment, the guy had deuterium and tritium atoms forced together at a temperature of 100 million degrees Celsius. However, this produced a energy generating plasma, which could prove useful for a source of energy for this base, every other Novus base, and for our vehicals. Anyway, I believe that we can use this same prinicple, but increase the pressure by about one fourth of it's origional strenght, and slightly increase the temperature by one eighth of it's origional degree. Doing this would force it together to become a solid, beyond the scope of current solids, and create the ultimate, inpenetrable material. We could make our own reactors, huge and small, in the shape desired and thus make your CUA(Crystalized Uramium Armor). What do you think?

Sounds very promising for the manufacturing of the CUA. I think it works, but that's probably because I was thinking the same thing lol (The Crystalized Uranium Armor => CUA). Anyways Making those modifications should provide the needed heat and pressures needed to create the material. Sounds like that would also work great as the power supply for the OF-1A since it is currently running on a nuclear ion engine as it's powerplant.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 10, 2008 9:02 pm

Agreed. However, you'd have to make special modifications to the aircraft, multiple or single, that use this form of energy. Right now, there is no metal that is light weight, yet strong enough to withstand this preasure. We're going to have to use the Nano Armor for this process and, since the reactor that the Chinese guy used was 400 tons and the fact that we can't bring it completely down, it as a power supply wont exist for some time unitl we can make that lightweight, high strenght metal

Ya, I see what you mean. Until then the nuclear ion engine will work fine for the OF-1A. Normal aircraft should just stick to their normal powerplants. It'll be a while before we figure out how to condence that power output system into a light weight practicle for. When brought down to a certain weight, it might work out quite well for a next generation tank platform.

So do you agree and wish to impliment this new technology?

We can implement the tech for the manufacturing of the armor for our facilities and vehicles. Since we can't scale it down te be used as a cehicle power supply, it can still be used to power our bases.
