So you are thinking of joining the guild? Great! Since the guild is constantly being updated and expanded, creating a character may sometimes be slightly confusing. No fear! The Guide is here!
Step 1.
The first thing you should do is join the guild itself. In your application you are not required to fill out any form or provide any information about your character, simply apply with a brief message. Something like "I am very interested in this guild and would like to join it! Please accept my application" will do just fine!
Step 2.
As soon as your application has been accepted, you are ready to create your character! First, you must go to The Introduction Thread , this thread contains all of the information you need to join. you will find the overall story of Aderaylm and a little bit about the three factions in it. The third post in the thread contains all the guild rules as well as a CPF (Character Profile Form), this is what you need to get started!
Step 3.
Filling out the form is very easy, however some areas might raise questions and so on this step we will go through this process.

Gaia Name: Simply write down your gaia name. (Example; I would write Lucimorth)
Aderaylm Character Name: Come up with a name for your character in the guild.
Age: Select the age of your character according to the rules in the third post of The Introduction Thread
Gender: Select your gender
Faction: Select your faction (You can only choose either Faction of Good or Faction of Evil. The Faction of Reason is only available to those who are personally contacted by Lucimorth after receiving several rank upgrades and being in the guild for a good amount of time.)
Profession: Select a Profession from those listed in the The Introduction Thread , second post. The entire system is based on skills, so try thinking of a profession that encompasses most of the skills you want, that will be your main profession. You can learn new skills later on in other profession areas.
History: You may write a history for your character.
Step 4.
Now that your character is ready, post the completed CPF in the Members Directory. As soon as I review and accept it, you may start participating in RPs. you do not need a character to post in the Chatterbox and Aderaylm Tavern.
Step 5.
Now you are ready to visit the personal training threads. They are located in the Training Grounds subforum. Please look at This Thread. You should already have a character outline and a profession chosen Now, simply fill out the rest of the data that is missing from your profile.
Just to outline the additions, here are the specific new sections:
Rank: I will write in your rank, which will be the first rank of your profession.
Level: The character level is the summ of all of the skills you have. As you start, you get 5 points to put in to your chosen profession, so your level is 5.
Main Profession: Please choose a profession from the professions list. Next, add your 5 free skill points in to the five skills in your selected profession. You may put one in to each, or all five in to one, or any option inbetween.
Secondary Profession: You may choose one later on in the game
Bloodline: This is your special talent, you choose one skill that becomes your bloodline skill. A bloodline skill has double the potential amount of skills you can add. So, as a novice, you have a limit of 10 on your skills, however, a bloodline skill can go up to 20! So, it might be useful to choose a skill in your main profession so that when you are a Grandmaster, instead of 25, your limit will be 50!
Everything else will be filled out by me, so no need to worry about it. Just PM me this part [the additions] of the character sheet and I will set up a thread for it. Remember, the basic character profile sheet should be posted in the members directory.
