Unreal-Giveaway’s Avatar Arena
We would like to welcome everyone to our very own Avatar Arena! Here is a place where you can parade your avatar for the rest of the Guild to see, and since the contests are on a much smaller scale, it means you have a better chance of winning!
A little more info
Every week we will be holding an avatar contest held in the sticky found in this subforum. There will be five spots each week, and we will have a vote by polls. We will have all five contestants avatars posted, pick your favourite, tick off the right box, and then we’ll see who the winner is! The contests will start on Monday’s at 5pm, and will end Saturday’s at 5pm. This give you a whole six days to vote and comment on your favourite avatars, and it also gives the Crew a whole day to set up next weeks competition.
Well, how do I enter?
Its as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Step One: PM Rocky Whorror with the subject as Avatar Arena. Please include a description if you have one, and a picture of the avatar you want to go in the arena.
Please Note It must be a picture of the avatar you currently have. It cannot be your dream avatar.
Step Two: Send the trade for 500g to Rocky Whorror, titled Arena Payment
Please Note: Donations to the guild are very well appreciated, even if it is just starter clothes or garbage.
Step Three: Sit back and watch the voting process go! The winner will receive 5k, and an place in the Avatar Hall of Fame!
How will you be rated?
Avatars will be rated on colours, creativity, description and use of items. This does not mean cheap items equal low vote. This basically means we will rate on how effectively you have used an item: does it add to your avatar or not?
Colours
Try to use a color scheme. For example, black and white. If your avatar is completely shades, and you have bright pink shoes on, it will take away from the avatars wonderful design.
Try and keep your colours even and well balanced. It is one of the main keys for a great avatar!
Creativity
Have you used your brain and wonderful artistic influences on this avatar? Or does it look like a random pile of clutter?
Try and be different, shoe how imaginative you can be!
Description
Descriptions help to explain and clarify the meaning of the avatar. It can also add to the design of your avatar. A good description is always fun to read!
Don’t have a description? Make something up! Explain why you like your avatar, or what your look is supposed to be. Are you an Angel or Demon? Or do you just like the way it looks? Describe it for us!
Use of Items
Once again, this does not mean cheap items equal low scores. This means how well have you used your items, and have they been used effectively? Does it match with your avatar and make it look better, or does it clash horribly?
What is the mystery word need to submit?
Good job for reading this far! I am very proud. Highlight the next line, and the mystery word will be revealed!
